Perfect choice for us!

This place could not have been better for us! Location was excellent and the neighborhood was quiet. The listing was very accurate: well stocked, spacious, and clean. The screened-in deck was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and dinner in the evening. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfy! Owner was very quick to respond when we had a couple of questions. This will be the first house I will look to stay at the next time we are in the area!

Great house to stay at!

We rented this home as my daughter was graduating from UT Knoxville and it was perfect! The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Loved the Christmas decorations and felt like home with a Christmas tree in the den. Plenty of room and a fully stocked kitchen was great! It was very clean and the owner was easy to communicate with. Would stay here again!!

Work trip

House was nice. Was on a work trip and took my family so it was nice to have a place they could hang out. The beds were very uncomfortable though causing my husband to have to sleep on the couch. Also only had two t.v.s so also made it a little difficult with kids. Very homey and owner seems very accommodating. Place was clean and had everything needed for the kitchen etc. Had games which was also nice for the kids.

Comfortable and quiet place

Our stay was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the seclusion, but it was a little tough getting in and out of the main exit to the interstate. It seem to be backed up quite often. OK. Very clean everything worked as needed

Just like “Grandma’s House”

The host thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. The location was excellent for our visit from Knoxville to the Smokey Mountains. A good place for dinner nearby was the Seymour Grill. The decor reminded both couples of visits to “Grandma’s” and all 4 of us are in our 70’s. Our favorite part was sitting on the screened in porch.

Relaxation with a view

This was a very nice property, the highlight for us was the beautiful screened-in porch with an excellent view: a nice yard, lots of trees and greenery, and peeks at the Smokies. There was little interaction with the Property Manager because everything was great. Quiet neighborhood: beware Friday Nights...it was fun to hear the goings-on at the local High School football game and did not detract from our visit at all, I would call it a highlight...otherwise, a very quiet neighborhood and close to lots of amenities. Highly recommend this property!

Mountain Getaway

This place was comfy and cozy, we felt at home and enjoyed coffee, on the porch. The location was private and scenic, without giving up convenience. The host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Definitely a nice house for you and some friends or family to stay with all the amenities.

A great place

This place is located very well for UT games or even trips to Dollywood. Very clean nice home. We loved all the UT memorabilia. The only thing I would change would be to add a TV in at least 1 of the bedrooms but other than that it was perfect!

We enjoyed the closeness of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We traveled to nearby other cities. Everything we did was within an hour. Stores /food was very close. Everything was a great first experience.

Home Away From Home

My family and I absolutely LOVED our stay at JuJu's House. From the moment we stepped over the threshold of the front door, we were enamored with it. We enjoyed playing board games in the den/family room, eating meals on the screened-in porch, and exploring the expansive backyard where we were able to see fireflies every night during our stay in early June. The basket of snacks was a nice touch, although we didn’t get to eat many since we brought a lot of our own. We visited the Seymour Farmers Market a few minutes away and came back with many goodies! Judy was very responsive and understanding, the best host we've ever encountered in a VRBO. Best of all, were the Bible verses hung throughout the house, reminding us of God's words. We will be back for sure!

Great Stay in Seymour

The rental was very clean and very spacious. It had everything you could need and more. The area is nice, it definitely has a small town feel to it. Seymour is an area I’ll be visiting at least once a year since my nephew moved to TN, especially to make sure my mom sees her grandson. The only thing stopping me from giving this place a 5 star rating is the 6 person limit including day guests, I’ve never stayed somewhere that had that rule. This would be my 100% go to place to stay in Seymour every trip up there but if I go with my mom and 4 other family members to visit my nephew I can’t have him visit at the home, he won’t be able to come over even for a meal. I know for some that may not be a problem, but I am one of 6 kids so if any of my siblings come with their spouse and kids I can’t stay here. Hopefully with time they’ll change the rule so that at least there can be more then 6 during the day.

ANTS!! Overall bad experience

I’m not one to usually write reviews, but this experience prompted me to. We had asked for an early check in and told we would be able to. I arrived early to a house that I couldn’t get into. I reached out to the owner and the house had not been cleaned yet. The owner asks if I could just drive around in a storm for a few hours while they cleaned it. Then the owner accidentally sent me a text she meant to send to the cleaning person essentially saying we were lieing about about needing to get out of the heat with my friend who was 8 months pregnant and another who had a 10 month old baby. They finally gave it a very fast 20 minute clean which was no where near sufficient. The next morning we woke up to the kitchen completely covered in ants. They swarmed all of our food. We again reached out to the owner who stated the previous renters complained about the ants and really didn’t care to take ownership of the situation. She ended up authorizing a refund of the cleaning fee, which we should’ve been refunded anyway due to the fact that it was a 20 minute job that really didn’t get done even remotely well. All in all, the house functioned as it should for us but the owner was very unprofessional and the swarms of ants were disgusting. The lack of ownership to solve the problems was very unfortunate.
