We enjoyed our stay at this property just a short walk from town and the shuttle to the ski slopes. The hot tub was great (and sheltered from the snow under the tree), and there was enough space for 4 adults in the house. The host was very responsive in sending someone local when we had an issue with the heater. Would stay again!
A great spot close to the main Elk street restaurants/sh and an easy walk to the bus stop for skiing
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. It may be a bit historic and rustic for some, but the nostalgia grew on us the longer we stayed. Give yourself some time to get the heat and floor heat going before you just the place if it has been a few days since the last person stayed in winter. It was a perfect place close to the main action of Elk street. We found the convenience to the bus stop nice as you are on the last stop prior to the mountain and the first stop on the way back (avoid the town circle time). We would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for a couple. Loft bed has room for 1-2 people or kids. Hot tub is shared, but the people next door were easy to work with and we didn't have any problems taking turns.
Great cozy little cabin. Nice kitchen. Warm and cozy. Very responsive owner and assistant. Walkable to the Nordic trails and downtown. Nice to have off street parking. Quiet neighborhood. Will come back here again!
“Fantastic Stay – Cozy, Convenient, and Quiet!”We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location was perfect—super close to everything we needed, yet still quiet and peaceful. The space was clean, cozy, and had a charming rustic feel that made it feel like a true getaway. Communication with the host was excellent, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a great experience, and we’d definitely recommend this place to others!
Great place, very small but workable for 2 adults kids
Great host, great location. Some notes:- 1 bathroom downstairs- the listing will fit 2 adults 2 small kids- the fenced in yard worked great- parking was nice- there is an EV charger right across the street. - Unit has great kitchen, washer/dryer, bathroom.
Property is in a great location two blocks from Elk Ave, with dedicated off-street parking. Nice small yard with a hot tub that we didn't use. "Master" bed was really comfortable, right off the living room. Second bed / bedroom is upstairs.
We did have a couple of issues - Internet not working when we got there which required messaging back and forth with the property owner to get it reset (modem / wifi wasn't in the unit.) Then, after that, it was pretty slow to the point I turned it off and just used my phone. The refrigerator was making a "buzzing" noise every 60 seconds 24/7, and the shower door wouldn't stay closed, which basically meant water was shooting all over the bathroom floor when you used it. The property manager said they'd come by to address both, but didn't while we were there. It's also worth noting that this place is a "quaint" refurb of an older house, but the living room floor is so sloped a square marble would still roll across the room. It's noticeable, but really just the living room.
All said and done, not a bad place to stay for a couple of days, but not without a couple of quirks or issues.
this is our second stay in this lovely little place. Little did we know there was SO much snow the first visit that there is a great yard! So close to town and hiking. We love it!
In a great spot in town, easy proximity to everything. Would definitely recommend with the caveat about the loft where the second bed iis — it’s a bit tight for adults (you can’t really stand because of the A frame) so probably wouldn’t recommend for tall folks especially.
We loved the location of this very old house, So Close 1block to bus stop that take you to ski mountain. And 1blk from the Main Street to shops and restaurants NICE
When we arrived we were surprised that the house was Two addresses not correctly advertised we ended up with the rental in the back of the home ( not renovated) the home is sinking and has a 45 degree angle downhill drop from the front to back of the house. The wood floors were so rustic it didn't feel clean and the rugs were very worn and dirty. The bed was comfortable but felt like your feet were above your head, There was an old bag of ice in freezer that tasted old and there was no toilet paper so we had to go get those items at the store.
Great location and Pet friendly were the two highlights. I rate this property a 3.5 star
This unit was exactly as advertised and we would stay again. Large enough for the 3 of us family members. Very clean and well appointed. Excellent location in town. We parked our car in the off street spot included and never moved it until we left. Walked to coffee, dinner and bus stop to skiing. Enjoyed the hot tub steps outside of our door. Thanks so much!
We enjoyed this charming cottage for a few days in Crested Butte. Very walkable to Elk Ave, the Mountain bus stop and grocery store. The unit is older but has incredible heating (including radiant floor heating) and a mostly updated kitchen. Overall a great stay for a family of four!
We had an awesome time, the place is perfect! Clean, cozy, great location.
