peterborough has plenty to offer for a family or a couple to enjoy, its a popular fishing spot with beautiful beaches and the curdies river , a golf course and many well known tourist attraction all only minutes away .
There is a dog friendly beach across the road and down the steps only 2 minute walk.
The Unit is cosy and clean close to everything, all within walking distance , the perfect place to relax , play golf, snorkel, fish or just read , its your choice. Peterborough is perfect for a quiet break or a family holiday on the beach. Perfect in summer with a beautiful sea breeze. Cosy in the winter with the lovely warmth of a wood heater.There are 3 bedrooms , 2 Queen beds, and a set of bunks for the kids

Relaxing getaway

The property was easily walkable to the shops and cafes, and was also just out of the way of the main road so no traffic. was very easy to get around and enjoy the beach, golf course and the rest of the town, or get out on the Great Ocean Road.

As expected. An older property affordable in the area. Multiples of kitchen items need Checking and replenishing. Eg only 3 wine glasses

The stay was good. Just be aware the house consists of 2 rentals that share the backyard. We had dogs with us while the property is dog friendly. If the other people would've had dogs as well none of us could've been outside. Even with kids in 1 and dogs in the other isn't great. Backyard should be divided and maybe an outdoor setting. It's clear inside the house has been split up. All about awkward.

Another great stay

A wonderful beach house in a great little town. Once again we had a fantastic time in Peterborough and loved our house which was simple, but had absolutely everything you can need in a beach holiday.

Okay as a hub.

The stay was decent overall. The duplex was clean and comfortable, but having a family right next door meant it wasn’t as private or quiet as we had hoped. The area was nice and felt safe, but there wasn’t much to do locally. However, it worked well as a base for exploring nearby attractions. It’s a good option if you’re looking for a simple, no-frills place to stay while traveling around the region.

Great stay for families. Beautiful family home with everything you need. House is spotless clean and bedrooms are cozy. Close to all the attractions of the area. Highly recommend.

Roomy spaces, comfy beds, great DVD collection, big (shared) backyard. Quiet location, very small town, just 12 minutes drive to Port Campbell.Didn't realise it was attached to another property, back of house had some sound bleed from next door.

Unfortunately a bad experience

Double beds were about to fall apart, one was that loose we didn't dare to use it so we chose the couch. Sand was on floor, coffee table and even on the bedding. On the side table we found nail clippings and there was proof of someone just had a shower leaving their wet towel behind.occuclean onlycland

Pretty beach,

Lovely location with a dog friendly beach an easy walk. Due to the 6 being on the left (when looking at apartments) I went to open that door first. A suggestion would be 6a and 6b or something as such. Had obviously been recently cleaned going by reduced dust. I went to sleep in the front “master” Queen. Made bed with my own bedding and a light insect spray for any critters. Shut the door and settled in. Went back into the room to place some items and noticed a couple of ants. Removed and kept settling in. Then went back in and the walls were covered in ants on the left side looking at the bed. With ants falling into my white sheet. There were a lot. I think you may have an ant nest under your roof with the amount that came out. Needless to say I didn’t sleep in that room or the back queen. As it was under the side of the same roof line. So slept, not so well, on the pull out couch. Not great the laundry, bathroom, shower and toilet are I the middle of the place without ventilation so very damp/mildew smell is prevalent. It was great to be close to the beach and whale watching in Warrnambool. Also a lot of stray, unleashed dogs that wonder around. One got into my car while unpacking and one tried to come into the house. A bit disconcerting.
