Total relaxation, perfect getaway
loved every moment we spent in this relaxing paradise. Enough to keep every member of the house occupied-0-99 years, but fabulous for a group of friends. the outdoor space is amazing, everything we could have needed was provided. The only issue was that we hadn't booked enough nights, and real life called us back! We will be back, because it is such a peaceful spot, and has so many activities to offer, and spaces for quiet reflection.

A hidden gem
Cooby Views Farmstay was absolutely fantastic. Julie is a lovely host and couldn't have been more welcoming. The homestead is stunning and so are the views. There is a fireplace inside & firepit outside for the cold weather & a beautiful pool for summer Interacting with the animals was a fabulous experience and I finally saw my first Koala in the wild. I cannot wait to bring my kids & grandkids here for a longer stay. Thanks so much Jewells!

Ladies Weekend
We really enjoyed our ladies weekend. For our first night, we pre booked a table at the Meringandan Hotel which had HUGE delicious meals and was only a short drive away. Back at the house we had a little trouble with the inside fireplace however the aircon warmed us up nicely. The next day we enjoyed visiting some local attractions such as the Danish Flower Art Complex, Black Forest Cuckoo Clock shop, The Chocolate Cottage and a nice little drive to Crows Nest Soft Drinks and Crows Nest Community Arts & Crafts. We then came back and enjoyed a few drinks around a wonderful fire in the outside fire pit. The house was well equipped, the beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed the outside undercover area and the beautiful peaceful surroundings. It was perfect for our relaxing ladies getaway.

Excellent Accommodation
Highly recommend this property. Cooby View Farm House is a perfect place for relaxing with family or friends or kids. Very simple check in process. This house is very neat and clean with all modern facilities. Well equipped kitchen and and all rooms are spacious. Acres of well maintained land outside for kids to play, and lots of views for nature lovers and 100 percent privacy. Moreover we can see so many horses and arrange horse rides. All horses are very friendly. Kids love them so much. We enjoyed our accommodation at Cooby View Farm House and wish go back again next year. The property manager Julie is a very kind hearted and helpful person.

Country girl at heart.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Julie. From the moment we arrived she was very welcoming and was more than happy for us to tag along to help feed the animals. We stayed for 3nights with our 14 year old son(who is like most teenagers loves his games) but there was none of that and he was up every morning saying hello to Eddie the horse and doughnut the sheep. Julie was amazing with our son when he went horse riding, she was very patient and gave him lots of encouragement as he never been on a horse. He loved every minute of it. It has been over 20 years since I was last on a horse and Julie made me feel so comfortable that I even had a little trot, it felt amazing and felt at home. Our little fur baby loved the open space to run wild around and loved coming to feed the horses too lol. The house is beautiful and has everything that you need during your stay. The pool looked so inviting but unfortunately it was way too cold for us to enjoy it this time round but we are coming back for sure in summer to enjoy the pool and the outside patio. I definitely recommend this farm stay to anyone is a country girl at heart. Thanks again for everything Julie. Anita, Del and Lachy Bella fur baby

Amazing Getaway
Was so lovely to meet Julie the host and all her farm animals. My 3 yr old daughter loved helping Julie feed the horses, chickens and donut the sheep. The pool was our favourite, floating around while admiring the beautiful bush landscape. Was so relaxing. We can’t wait to come back.

Brilliant, laid back family farm stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We came for the weekend with our three year old and had an awesome time! Spacious house, well appointed, great pool and outdoor area. Julie is a wonderful host and accommodated our little one and her two cousins with a horse ride. She was great at teaching the girls (all aged under 5) about the fundamentals of horses/safety and getting them comfortable on the animal too. We’ll be back!

It was hard to find a farm stay that had all the extra comforts we wanted but then I found this gem. Beautiful country home, has everything you could ever need. Beautiful pool and entertaining area. Comfortable beds and well appointed home. Julie was very welcoming and helpful. A great host! We loved helping with the horses & other animals. Julie is also a great riding instructor, we learnt alot from our lessons.

The perfect getaway from the big city.
It was an absolutely wonderful weekend experience. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and shown around the home. The next morning, we were helping Julie feed the horses. My partner had never been up close to a horse before so she was delighted to learn how to lead and brush Eddy, who was a beautifully well mannered horse. In the afternoon we gathered firewood and watched the sun set over the hill from the large outdoor firepit. The next morning we halped feed the animals again and my partner got to lead sweet little Macca around the yard. It was great to have the peaceful country atmosphere, and to learn all the names and personalities of all the horses as well as doughnut the sheep. Couldn't have wished for a better farmstay experience.

Best family holiday we've had in 10 years!
The property itself is great, with plenty of space both inside and out. We loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. The house is set on 100 acres, and there are lots of animals - horses, sheep, chickens, cows, as well as kangaroos and some rabbits! Our boys helped feed all the animals twice a day, and even got to wash Buster the horse - they had the best time, and grew quite attached to them all. I could not recommend this place more.

Amazing, beautiful and definitely coming back!
Our stay at Cooby View was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived it felt like home. The kids absolutely loved feeding the animals and just spending time patting the horses throughout the day. We fell in love with all of the animals, but Sam left a mark on the kids heart as he was like our house pet, always waiting for pats and cuddles. The horse riding experience was wonderful for the kids. And I got to ride the beautiful Eddie who was a true gentleman and by far the highlight of my time there. The photos do not do it justice as everywhere you look is another beautiful view. We have had many winter escapes to the country, however Cooby View far exceeded all of them. We will certainly be regulars from now on. Julie our host was so lovely and relaxed allowing the kids to help out as much or little as they liked - very special lady who made our stay even more special. Definitely recommend this incredibly special place for anyone wanting to escape the rat race and create special memories. Annie, Carl and kids. X

A Home Away From Home
From the time we booked, Julie from Cooby View made us feel like we were old friends. Barely was the booking complete than she telephoned to welcome us and fill us in on the details of the property, how to get there, etc. On arrival, Julie was there to meet us and show us around the property and all its features: the spacious, well-appointed bedrooms - they can sleep eight people, with plans to expand this capacity; comfortable indoor and outdoor living areas, including a fireplace inside and a fire pit outside; a kitchen with everything you need, and more; swimming pool and spa; and the pets - horses, lamb, chickens - you can even help Julie in feeding her menagerie if you like. Her parting words were, "enjoy my house, it's yours for your stay, and if you need anything just call". Cooby View is pet friendly, to protect her own animals Julie just wants to be sure your animals are not dangerous breeds; and our dog Jade became best friends with Coco the Shetland pony. With the first burst of winter hitting, the pool and spa were out for us but we had a thoroughly relaxing time sitting outside and taking in the beautiful bush and farmland setting by day and snuggled up by the fire at night. Set well off the main roads and in a quiet, idyllic setting, Cooby View is perfectly suited for a relaxing escape for a single couple, family, or a group of friends. Thank you for making us so welcome Julie and we'll certainly be back. Chad & Dawn
