Thanksgiving Break

Very quiet and comfortable. Great location with super ocean view. Very relaxing listening to the surf without noise from neighboring units. Good value and is perfect for a couple.

February vacay.

I had trouble with the code to open door. I called # on vrbo site i was given. She gave me access code to retrieve keys which i used for the 2 weeks. I didnt have parking pass or security cards. On the fourth day i received both. Security cards didnt work but i made do. Otherwise i really enjoyed Landmark and amenities. Unit was extremely nice. Would love to come back next yr if possible.

Great beach vacation!

Overall, we spent a great week with the kids!! Upon arrival, we had an issue with the pool bracelets and the electronic card, but the owner had this issue fixed within a day. There’s plenty to do at the resort, and everything you might need is a walking distance away!! Myrtle beach is a wonderful place

Winter vacation

The condo was clean, well stocked an in a great location. Only issue we had was the building was being worked on and the unloading area was partially closed ( not a huge deal but pretty stressful after a 12 hour drive), we had a little issue getting in the location but a phone call to Vito and Lupita and we were in the unit. Great stay in a great place at a very laid back time of year

Great getaway

We had a great time at this condo, we had never been to Myrtle Beach before and really enjoyed our time there. The description of the listing was very accurate and the property manager was very with the only minor issue we had and we were able to get it resolved quickly.

Property was as listed. Instructions were thorough and clear. Place was clean and suited our needs will during our visit. Only feedback—-water was not hot most of the time we used it for showers or doing dishes even after running for a while to allow time to warm.

Home away from home

This property had all the amenities we needed. The king bed was very comfortable, there was ample storage space in all the rooms, the living room was newly furnished and the kitchen well stocked with all the necessities. We could see pelicans, cormorants as well as a few dolphins from our balcony. The staff at the resort were very friendly. The location was perfect: walking distance from Walmart Food Market as well as Food Lion, 8 min drive from Walmart Super Store, Costco, a mall, Home Depot, walking distance to restaurants. Great stay.

Relax and enjoy

The pictures on line doesn’t do it justice. It’s a very cozy condo. The only complaint was the elevator. There was always a wait and it was hot in the elevator and hallways. Not the owner’s fault of course. The owner was easy to contact and was very nice. I master bed was so comfortable. I would stay here again.

Overall good stay, 11th floor of an older building. Pros: ocean view!!!! Cons: elevators are slooooooowwww, on site restaurant has limited staff so long wait; security is walking around with Kevlar vest on lol it wasnt a great value for the money spent, i wanted oceanfront and thats what I got. nothing more nothing less.

Disappointing

We arrived at 1:00AM . The bed was not made. Sheets piled on the king sized bed did not fit. The toilet did not work properly the entire time. I had to remove the lid after each flush and tap the valve to get the tank to fill up. The owner had her maintenance man look at it but when he left, nothing had changed. We needed electronic cards to access most of doors. We never got them.

The owner was very nice and allowed us to check in early when we arrived, I’m not sure the cleaning service was completed through. The trash can in the restroom was super filthy, and the sink in the kitchen was dirty! The patio door was almost impossible to open and you had to slam it in order to lock it. View was amazing from the balcony!! Only 4 towels were left for two adults for 5 days which was very challenging.

Beautiful view

Condo is comfortable and very well equipped, and there’s a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Building is somewhat dated. Waiting for elevators is a bit annoying. Located very close (walking distance) to Walmart for groceries but quite a distance to either of the piers. Beach is beautiful and clean. Found it odd that the building treats VRBO customers differently than their own guests (cannot use the restaurant or even get a coffee at the lobby Starbucks if renting via VRBO).Having use of the first floor Laundry room was handy. Communication with the owner was A1.

Not a good experience

Arrived, condo was not cleaned, bought cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. A large bad of construction debris was left in the bedroom, cleaning service showed up after dark wanting to clean had them remove large bag and had them leave. Bed was uncomfortable, other than that, what can I say

Landmark resort

Upon arrival the door was open. Getting into the condo was a challenge as the electronic code didn’t work. We had to call the manager several times to gain entry and this took about an hour to get in. Once we gained entry, a key card was missing No dish towels/dish rags One roll of toilet paper No extra garbage bags The smallest container of dish soap I’ve ever seen. Nothing looks clean or smells clean specifically the top of the refrigerator and the microwave. The surface light for the microwave doesn’t work, and the light over the sink doesn’t work. The dishes and pots and pans do not look clean, there was hair of some of the dishes we pulled out of the cabinet. All of the kitchen utensils are very cheap/flimsy and look like they came from the dollar tree. There’s a burn hole in the covering for the bed. There were no extra pillows for the Murphy bed, we couldn’t find the blanket, and the Murphy bed mattress was not up to standards for human to use. The rug where the trundle bed pulls down is coming off the wall/floor. The light in the bathroom is falling out of the ceiling, there is no water pressure in the bathroom sink. The shower curtain is moldy. Nowhere to hang wet clothes/towels. One of the chairs on the deck is ripped and cannot be sat upon. The TV in the living room is in French subtitles. A brown substance on the ceiling in the bedroom near the entrance to the kitchen There a general musty smell in the bedroom. And to top it all off, I went to the room

Good Ocean View

The property is definitely showing it’s age. I think it’s a little run down for the price. Hardly any water pressure in the bathroom sink. A stain in the ceiling that looks like mold. An extension cord that runs the length around the room to control the electronic lock on the door and tape saying do not unplug looks cheesy. The sliding glass door you need serious muscle to lift and slide open as it sticks and does not slide properly. Looking closer the door is crooked on the track with a half inch gap at the bottom. Upon arrival we could not find a bellman cart to unload our stuff. We spent the better half of an hour going floor by floor as people take them but never return them to the lobby and or keep them in their room making it next to impossible to find. The resort does not enforce return of the bellman carts for others to use Only 2 of the 4 floor elevators work half the time. Our room is next to one of the main floor elevators and it slams shut because the piston hinge needs either adjusted or replaced to prevent the door slamming. I’ve noticed this happens on a lot of the floor doors as maintenance of this building is lack luster at best. Pool is open till 11 pm so not only will you hear an abrupt slam of a door at 11-to 12 pm that jostles you out of your sleep but expect to hear loud kids yelling as well as adults who have no concern for others and quiet time. I could go on but needless to say I won’t be staying here again.

Pleasant stay

We did have problems with lighting at the condo. We ended up purchasing bulbs for the light under the microwave over the stove to help somewhat in the kitchen, but it still is not very bright and the lighting in the living room is also extremely dim. We also had to purchase a remote control for the tv in the living room as there was none. Owner is reimbursing us for the bulbs and remote, but was a pain to have to handle these things ourselves when their service should make sure all is well. They still need more lighting in the living room, you are practically eating in the dark at the table and forget it if you want to play a game or anything. Also, checkin was a real pain because there were no trolleys available to load our things on, and the people at the front desk were no help when we asked. We later discovered that several were actually in the parking garage. Otherwise, it was as advertised with a balcony looking right down onto the sand and waves. We could hear them and smell the ocean with the sliding doors open. And, there were PLENTY of towels , etc. and also the kitchen was decently equipped, so our stay was very pleasant.
