We are proud to offer you a clean and modern condo in the heart of Kauai. It's convenient location will allow you to enjoy all that the island has to offer. Our unit is part of Plantation Hale suites which features 3 outdoor pools and spas, BBQ areas, and a full concierge and activities desk. The resort has several restaurants, beach access, a mini market, car rental, business center and an ATM. You can easily drive to Waimea Canyon, Opaekaa Falls, Horseback, Riding, Hiking, Kayaking, Napili Coast, and Wailua Golf Course from the condo. The resort is about 7 miles from Lihue Airport, which is about a 15 minute drive with no traffic. The condo has free parking.
This upper unit is optimized for the comfort of a family or group of four (up to 5). It has 1 bedroom that is furnished with plush 2 full sized beds and a sofa bed with soft memory foam. It has 1 full bathroom equipped with a shower and a fully stocked kitchen with essentials like a microwave, electric stove top, and oven as well as a toaster, coffee maker, multi-cooker, and rice cooker. Our unit will provide the comforts of a home away from home, so you can spend less time worrying about the small things and really get the most out of your stay.
The living room and bedroom features a brand new 50" flat screen 4K smart UHD TV with cable and Roku TV with free movies, Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is also a DVD player so you can rent your favorite movies from nearby Safeway and play them if you wish to. We also provide high-speed Wi-Fi that can be accessed throughout the condo, as well as a USB/NFC docking station in every room for all of your electronic devices. The bedroom and living room both have in wall AC units that will provide an escape from a hot day. A new whisper quiet AC just installed in the bedroom.
The condo’s location offers convenient access to markets and is steps to a beach with a jogging path, beaches, rivers, activities, restaurants, and more. The Coconut Market place with shops, Waipouli Town Center and Kauai Village Shopping Center and has supermarkets, Starbucks, McDonalds, and restaurants is a few minutes away. You can enjoy Coconut Marketplace farmer market every Tuesday and Thursday 9am-1pm and free Hula Dance show every Wednesday 5pm and Saturday 1pm and live Hawaiian music every Friday 5pm. Driving out a few minutes will get you to a place where you can rent bikes and enjoy the picturesque bike trail along the shoreline. The Wailua golf course, Lydgate State Park and Wailua River is close by and are great locations to kick back and relax. Lydgate State Park has a massive wooden playground and an amazing enclosed snorkeling area that is open to the public, and the Wailua River is simply perfect for kayaking and rentals are offered near the river.
We provide a few beach items you can use for your enjoyment, including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a boogie board, and beach towels. With these, you will be all set to enjoy the beach with your family or friends!
There is a shared laundry room just right downstairs.

Great place and location

We had a wonderful 7 nights here. The coconut marketplace next door was great to have and Safeway up the street was very handy as well. Being on a corner unit was great so we could still see the ocean. Another plus was the full kitchen. We were able to cook some great meals with local farmers market ingredients. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again!

Best location

This place has everything you need. Great access to the north and south of the island. Quiet beach is a walk away. The kitchen amenities are excellent. The Owner is very responsive. I will be recommending this place to everyone going to Kauai.

The property was great. The host was attentive and responsive to questions, super friendly. There was a guidebook of things to do in the area and suggestions, referrals for areas to go to and for dining. If I were to return to Kauai I would stay there again. I definitely recommend

Kauai’s best kept secret

Thank you to our host - we had a fantastic experience here! We landed on the island and had our car rental and grocery shopping done before our check-in time. We had lots of time to drive around the area and were excited to find our condo so we decided to contact Jennie, our host to see about checking a bit earlier and got the “ Ok” - which was very accommodating. This hidden gem is very close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, golf, laundry and the airport ! Everything that makes for a great, stress free holiday - in the middle of Kapa’a which makes driving to visit other parts of the island very easy. We liked that we had our own kitchen for making meals, as we aren’t big breakfast eaters as well had many lunch and dinner options close to us. We will definitely be telling our family and friends about our wonderful stay here and the most beautiful island and condo that is waiting for them to visit !

Love staying here

This was our second time staying here. We love this condo so much. It feels like you’re walking in your own home when you open the door. Has a view of the pool, Mountain View’s & you can see the beach from her back porch that’s right across the street. It also has a market that you can walk to. Great restaurants there, a grocery store, gift shops, shaved ice etc. If we come back to Kauai.. we will be staying here again. Hope everyone enjoys her place as much as we did. Mahalo

Centrally located

We liked having a second floor unit in the complex. We love Kapaa because it is centrally located and we enjoy the west side, south side and North Shore without having to spend lots of time in the car. We also love the little town of Kapaa. Safeway, Longs Drugs and the ABC stores are in walking distance. You have a little view of the ocean from the deck and kitchen. It is an end unit in a quiet building. There are sirens because the fire department is close by but not a deal breaker. We are already booked for next year.

Really nice condo. We appreciated the beach umbrella, coolers, and beach towels made available to us. Comfy beds! The couch pullout mattress was even comfy too! Very close walk to marketplace with many shops. And the beach is super close too. I recommend staying here!

Good location but condo is disappointing.

Location in Kapaa is convenient for being equal distance between Waimea and Hanalei. Also close to Coconut Marketplace (shops and restaurants), Lydgate State Park and Safeway. The unit itself is in need of some TLC. There was a terrible smell in the main living area; mixture of chemicals and mildew. Had to buy an air freshener to be able to enter the room. Bathroom sink stopper and faucets are not functioning correctly. Toilet/shower area is very small and would be a challenge for more than 2 adults to share. There is a pool right behind the unit which could be noisy at night. If you have kids it is convenient. Only one lock on the door (no additional chain lock or other security). Door had to be pulled/pushed closed. I did not feel safe at night with only one lock. Can't recommend based upon the issues listed above.

Two adults and two tweens enjoyed our stay

We stayed with our 10- and 12-year olds for nearly a week and were happy to come back to this condo after each day's adventures. The supplies we needed for beachgoing, cooking, sleeping, and cleaning were all at hand. Parking next to the condo, doing laundry with the app, and navigating around the adjacent Coconut Marketplace were simple. Navigating from Kapa'a to points of interest everywhere on the island was also a breeze. The only noise that irritated us came not from the A/C (thank goodness for it) or nearby traffic but from the crowing roosters--but you can't escape that anywhere in Kauai! This was a very calm, reliable, and uncomplicated place to stay as a family of four.

Beautiful appartment with a big balcony

The appartment is really big and well equipped. It includes a completely functional kitchen, a very spacious bedroom with two queen size beds, a living room and a bath room with shower. It is light-flooded and cosy. It is embedded in a condo and therefore also comes with a fresh water pool that you can use. As all the condos they are also very strict on their house rules, not making any noise or leaving anything visible on the balcony. The positioning is not ideal, as right next to the condos there is an area where they dumped a lot of trash and where homeless are living - however the view goes out to the other side and we were never bothered by anyone. There is a small shopping area close by that also includes bars and restaurants - however we never frequented these locations as we always cooked ourselves. The location can absolutely be recommended and we would book it again!

Centrally located and would stay again

If we could do it over we would stay here again. The property is centrally located and makes it so easy to go either north or south. The grocery store is about 2 minutes away which makes it easy to stock up on groceries for your stay. If you want to go to the pool it is very close along with the spa. The condo itself was clean and well stocked with the necessary items to enjoy your stay. Communication with the owners was always received in a quick and timely manner. The staff at the property were very nice which also added to it.

Perfect Place for a couple or a few friends!

Everything was clean and inviting and we really enjoyed our stay. It was delightful to have a pool & jacuzzi right there, as well as a BBQ (although we didn’t end up using it). It was a surprisingly quiet place, even though there were plenty of other people around. The only real noise we heard inside were the AC units and every once in awhile some traffic noise. The bedroom AC is a quieter unit (nice!) and kept us very comfortable each night. The living room AC seems dated and struggles to keep up with the summer temperatures but it’s still much cooler than outside! 😊 The kitchen provides basic amenities plus and it was great to have the ability to do a lot of our own cooking to save money. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Central Location and Cozy

We enjoyed our stay here, it was the right amount of space for both of us. We also enjoyed the pull-out bed in the living room as a way to relax and watch t.v! The place was also stocked with beach gear (ex. snorkeling gear, cooler, umbrella). Everything was generally clean, the only suggestion I have for the place is if the floors could be mopped or swiffered as it felt noticeably sandy and sticky when walking around barefooted. Other than that, I would stay here again for the central location.

Unser Aufenthalt als Familie

Mir hat gefallen, dass sich ein Marketplace fußläufig befunden hat. Man konnte dort essen und Kleinigkeiten kaufen. (Auch wenn es Touristenpreise waren) Die Unterkunft war gut. Der große Balkon war schön. Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Es ist eine ruhige Lage. Was mir nicht gefallen hat. Das in der Beschreibung stand, dass wir eine Waschmaschine haben. Ich bin davon ausgegangen, dass diese sich in der Ferienwohnung befindet. (Wie wir es woanders auf Hawaii hatten) Aber man musste in eine Gemeinschaftswäschrei und das war teuer. Man musste eine Chipkarte für 5 USD kaufen. Warum? Was soll das? Es war keine Kaution, dass Geld ist einfach weg. Dann Waschmaschine bezahlen und Trockner. Es gab leider keinen Wäscheständer. Sehr schade. So konnte man auch nicht seine Badesachen aufhängen. Waschpulver musste man auch noch kaufen. Beim check-in muss man eine Gebühr bezahlen, wenn man vor 16 Uhr rein möchte. Bei 3 oder 4 Stunden verstehe ich das. Aber wegen 30 Minuten?! Wir blieben eine halbe Stunde auf den Sesseln beim check-in sitzen und haben gewartet bis es 16 Uhr ist.
