PET FRIENDLY COTTAGES are only minutes from Mount Gambier at 17 Kavanagh Road, Worrolong, on a 5-acre property. The setting is quiet and peaceful with an abundance of birdlife, set amongst manicured gardens with plenty of room to walk your dog or just enjoy the fresh air.

The property is home to two cottages; Collie Cottage (1 bedroom) and Kelpie Cottage (2 bedrooms). Please see description below for accurate midweek and weekend pricing.

We are north-east of Mount Gambier (only 6-7 minutes) in a rural environment.

Great location with a large yard for kids to play in. The breakfast amenities were very generous and much appreciated. It was lovely to see the animals each day. The hosts were very responsive.

Wonderful stay for pet owners visiting Mt.Gambier
Property is well located in a calm private place near Mt.Gambier. Plenty of space around the house to walk the pets or play with kids. Pet owners would love a stay here with plenty of space with fence.

Had the best time with our 3 kids and dog. It was so nice knowing our dog was looked after in a very secure yard when we went out. Provisions were incredibly generous. We were welcomed for our stay and all our needs were met. Lovely to have a secure yard for the dogs to run around safely in. Kelpie Cottage was clean and tidy upon arrival and is located in a wonderful quiet and peaceful environment. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Beautiful Quiet Location
Lovely, quiet place just outside Mount Gambier. Nice big secure yard for the 2 dogs. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, lounge room and shower. Nice gesture of breakfast goodies, chocolates and wine on arrival. Pauline greeted us at the gate and was a good communicator from start to finish. Loved it!
Such a beautiful place to stay and so nice to hear the stories of all the animals from the hosts. Really appreciated the provisions as we had a full car so didn’t bring much food, plus the secure yard for the doggo was brilliant to know they didn’t need to be on lead the whole time. Highly recommend it as a place for travellers with dogs.

Friendly host whom we were fortunate to meet on arrival. Such a warm & welcoming stay for our family of 4 & 2 pups. Our dogs felt so at home as the amount of care for pets at this property is outstanding. Beds were super comfy & the house was very clean. Our kids loved the area as there is plenty of farm animals around. Thank you so much for our special stay & the extra special touches on arrival. Thanks Russ & Pauline. The little extras, communication and thoughtful touches were greatly appreciated. The property and walks were enjoyed by myself and our fur baby whilst the boys were off mountain biking. The location is serene but only a short drive to the action in town. Everything was comfortable and accommodating. We’ll be back next October long weekend. Thanks again for having us :))
