Light and airy open plan secluded cottage with views over the lake, beach and town. Walking distance to Short Point beach and town.

Open plan kitchen, walk in pantry, modern 5 gas burner stove/oven, dishwasher, fridge, breakfast bar plus sunny corner with 3 cane chairs.
French doors leading onto a secluded front deck with outdoor setting, tropical fountain, hot and cold outdoor shower.
Dining room table with 10 leather chairs
Lounge consists of king living lounge with chaise and 1 recliner, coffee table and 55cm smart TV. Wood burner fireplace.
Stacker doors lead onto back deck with 2 undercover cane lounge, coffee table, airdondack chairs and Baby Q BBQ.
Light and airy queen size main bedroom, ensuite with walk in shower and large bath.
2nd Bedroom queen size bed, private toilet.
Also on main level. Bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity.
Down Stairs
3rd Bedroom is via the back stairs, ( NO INTERNAL ACCESS) Large room with Queen size bed plus a single bed. Ensuite. Smart TV
Laundry with 2nd fridge, washer and dryer.
Enclosed flat back yard suitable for boat or trailer.
A fire pit - wood supplied - is provided to enjoy those balmy evenings.
Vegetable garden - please help yourself and a water is always appreciated. Next to the veggie garden is our chook pen for our 2 girls. They can be relocated or we can have someone come each day (via the garden shed) to feed them, or you can choose to have the enjoyment of fresh daily eggs. PLEASE NOTE THAT CHICKENS WILL BE RELOCATED FROM MAY - SEPTEMBER
The property has 2 driveways, the top one is level to come into the house making it ideal for wheelchairs, elderly etc.
The bottom driveway leads to the back yard with lots of room for a boat, trailer etc.
One dog allowed inside in main area not in bedrooms or on furniture or bedding if you are happy to vacuum & mop on departure as not all our guests are animal lovers.

Lovely homely holiday house with great views. All amenities available. Fantastic location. Able to walk to main centre within 10-15mins. Heather was easy to get in contact with if needed. Had a fantastic weekend.

A home for travellers
This home is very welcoming and generous in every way. It’s a home for travellers clearly owned by travellers. You immediately relax and enjoy the south coast and the great outlook. Plenty of inviting space inside and out for a family to spread out. We will be back.

Great beach house, wonderful views, relaxing stay
Wonderful beach house with amazing views. We had a super relaxing stay. Easy walk to bar beach and town/ boardwalk. Short drive to other amazing beaches. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you need. We had a couple of minor issues but the owner is super responsive and these were resolved quickly. The kids loved the chickens and vege garden and there is heaps of room for them to run and play. A home away from home. Thank you!

Beautiful property with everything we needed
SeaSalt is a spotlessly clean, well appointed property and we felt very comfortable staying here. It feels like a well-loved family retreat. We were welcomed by fresh bread, milk in the fridge and an invitation to harvest from the abundant veggie garden and make friends with the resident chooks. Between the private tropical courtyard at the front and the amazing views from the back deck there are lovely spaces to relax in. The kids enjoyed the private, grassy backyard. The kitchen has everything we could need (peeler! grater! plenty of cutlery and crockery! wine glasses!). We loved everything about our stay at SeaSalt and look forward to returning! Thanks for having us Heather & John.

We are a semi retired couple in our 60's, love to travel, fish, swim and kayak.

Why they chose this property

Our little bit of paradise is well located with excellent views over the lake and beach. Sitting on the deck in the late afternoon enjoying a cool glass of wine is one of my favourite things to do.

What makes this property unique

We have a large vegetable garden and also 2 very friendly chickens who give us fresh eggs daily.
