This house is wonderful. My husband and our son had a fantastic getaway. It is the perfect house for a young family. Thank you so much for your hospitality Janet. Particularly loved the Christmas decorations!
Lovely property, with plenty of room and areas for quiet time if needed. It was nice to spend time with my children and grand children, we had every thing on hand that we needed, and a short walk to cafes or supermarket. Very comfortable and enjoyable
The pictures of this property don't do the real thing justice! Janet was fabulous to communicate with & very generous with additional supplies which made our stay even more comfortable. Home away from home & very close to the main street. Can thoroughly recommend.
Inglenook Cottage was so so gorgeous & it felt like home as soon as you walked in! The kitchen has everything you can think of and a laundry & even hairdryers, straighteners & an iron if you needed! The cottage & bedrooms felt very luxurious & cosy, with the outdoor sunbed being one of my favourite places to be, laying in the sun and listening to the wildlife all around. The bathroom was fabulous and the spa too! We had such a lovely weekend away, with a short easy walk into town! We will definitely look into staying again another time. Thankyou so much 🙏
Beautiful cottage within walking distance to everything
The house is absolutely gorgeous and decked out with everything you need! Fantastic location - we didn't use the car at all. The air-con was broken during our stay which was unfortunate however couldn't fault anything else.
We loved the cottage, beautiful styling and lovely tidy cottage garden , a shame the cleaners were still there when we arrived after 2pm and they weren't particularly thorough with vacuum, we were told prior the front door sticks but that was an understatement , we near hurt ourselves getting into property and only used the back door the entire time , which was a little dangerous at night as the outdoor light didn't work , but other than that we had an enjoyable time , thanks

Great place unfortunate interaction
Great house, great spot... But two days before our check in the owner called us and demanded us to pay double the pre arranged amount. We called stayz and they said we didn’t have to pay as we had booked 14 months in advance and we weren’t at fault. The owner called us again and demanded payment but offered us a cash back of 50% once we paid her - we obviously didn’t pay any extra. This all happened 2 days before our wedding. We can’t fault the place as it was amazing however the interaction 2 days before our wedding and the constant interaction with the owner was not enjoyable and bizarre. We did not appreciate this at all.
The cottage is in a relatively quiet street only 4 minutes' easy walk from the main street in Healesville. It is ideal for a couple but, with 3 double beds, a single bed and 2 trundle beds, could accommodate a larger group. The kitchen is better appointed than any other holiday accommodation we've stayed in and could host a Master Chef episode with all of its facilities (including 9 cutting boards). There was plenty of breakfast cereal, tea, coffee and lots of condiments, olive oil etc for those who want to cook but, oddly, no milk in the fridge. Didn't matter as there is a small IGA close by (closes 6 pm) and a Coles supermarket within walking distance.
The cottage is centrally heated and air conditioned and has a very effective wood burner which we used on our second night.
Heaps of restaurants and cafes are in walking distance or a short drive away. We had excellent lunches at Oakridge winery on the way to Healesville and at Seville Estate on the way home. Dinner at the Healesville Hotel dining room was very good as was lunch at Innocent Bystander (15 minutes walk from the cottage through a lovely little park). Reservations recommended at all of these as they were all busy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Takeaway souvlaki from Spinners bar in the same street as the cottage was also very good.
We'll stay at the cottage next time we're in Healesville.
We had a really lovely stay at Inglenook Cottage. All 4 of us were happy (which can be a challenge with teenagers!) and I was super impressed with how well the kitchen was fitted out - would be lovely for hosting a big dinner!
Extremely pretty property which you feel immediately at home in. Plenty of comfy chill-out spots inside and out to wind down and relax. Convenient access to the main street including cafes, wineries and restaurants. The kitchen facilities are terrific and the gardens are amazing and give the property a private feel. Looking forward to our next stay here!
Lovely period house walking distance to central Healesville
We loved Inglenook.
Great gateway from Melbourne to a beautiful period home. The interior decor is beautiful and makes for an period lux, relaxing vibe. Even our boys (12 and 14) commented on how nice everything was. On a quiet street walking distance to the cafes, restaurants and shop. Host was responsive and super helpful
Highly recommend.
This is a wonderful property, smack-bang in the middle of town - walk to the hotel, shops, parks and walking tracks. The house is beautifully prepared, with everything you need for a family stay or a stay with a group of friends.
We had a wonderful time staying at this stunning property. Great for a family and very clean with all the creature comforts! Janet The property manager was very lovely and helpful . We are already planning our next chance to come and stay !
Lovely, well equipped home with all the essentials, plus a beautiful ambiance in and outside the home, making a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Healesville is also a beautiful town.
