Relax in front of the fire or cook up something special in the gourmet kitchen. The house has three bedrooms, two with queen beds and a bunk room with 4 amazing double bunks. 100% would book again
Fantastic place to stay! Just a short wander to the beach. The bunk beds were super comfy, even for adults, and the space felt cozy with lovely touches like fresh flowers. Jonathan was incredibly generous, letting us check out later and communication was promt. A hidden highlight is how well the house is set up—a cupboard full of different teas, plenty of herbs, spices, cups, wine glasses, and utensils. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway with friends—100% would book again!

Mac’s beach house was absolutely fabulous for our weekend away with friends. There is plenty of space, the kitchen is well equipped, beds and couch extremely comfy and super close to the beach. We will be back ☺️

Fantastic house & location
This was our second time staying at Mac’s beach house and we enjoyed it even more than before as this time the sun was shining so we took full advantage of the closeness of Mac’s to the beach. The house easily accommodated 7 people (3 adults/4 kids), was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. As before, the checkin process with Jonathan was perfect. We will be back !!!

A beautiful house near the beach
Beautifully situated in an established garden and shaded by mature trees, yet so close to Macmasters Beach. The house was stylish and extremely well appointed, and provided a very comfortable stay for the extended family, complete with books and games and smart TVs. The kitchen had everything we needed, both equipment and pantry supplies.

We had a fabulous 4 nights at this property. Everything was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The house is a very short walk from the beach and the hosts were very accomodating.

The house was fantastic ! Plenty of room for adults and kids. The kitchen was so well stocked, the layout perfect and furnishing very tasteful. We loved the gas fire…which looks real but heats up with the flick of a switch. Kids loved their double bunks and had plenty of space to spread out in their room and watch tv from their beanbags. Will definitely be back for another stay.

Amazing host! Amazing house!
That was a fantastic stay at Macmasters Beach House - the house was beautifully set up, it felt like a home away from home! It was very tidy, there was ample crockery (which is always a nice surprise!) and everything had been thought about (lots of great recommendations of local places to dine and so on!) The location was spectacular. The host was great and kept us well informed and always available. Nothing bad to say!

Beach house perfection
This is the best beach house. Beautiful, thoughtfully laid out with hot outside shower, leading to a wet room/laundry and then a stunning kitchen. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable - especially the bunk room for the kids, which has 4 comfy double beds which our teens found especially luxurious and sufficiently private for them. The owner, Jonathan, was unfailingly helpful and responsive in the lead up and during our stay. We arrived just before Christmas - there were decorations and a tree for us, fresh Christmas bush and sweet treats for the kids. We loved lazing on the wraparound verandah enjoying the views of the beach. Macs beach house perfection!

Fabulous beach house
I chose this house for a group of 7 girlfriends partly because of its proximity to the beach. Unfortunately the sun did not shine on us, however it didn’t matter because this house is such a beautiful place to hangout. It is super comfortable & has probably the best equipped kitchen I have ever experienced in a holiday home so we could settle in to eat, drink & have a wonderful time. Thanks Jane & Jonathan for sharing your lovely beach house.

Idyllic beach cottage between the gum trees and ocean
From my first enquiry to check out, Jonathan was always a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. His gorgeously styled beach cottage comfortably accommodated our two families with kids. It’s architectural features frame the glorious views of the native bush gardens and the ocean, with sunlight pouring in during the day. The kids loved playing with the board games provided at the house and having their own space with bunk beds. They also loved exploring the flocks of cockatoos feeding next door, and spying other animals like magpies, kookaburras, bush turkeys and rabbits. There’s a well stocked and equipped kitchen which was perfect for us foodies who like to cook. We also very much enjoyed the cosy fire place. Macmasters Beach is short stroll and is perfect for running, swimming and surfing. Beach towels are available at the house and there’s an outdoor shower to hose down after a swim. Jonathan’s house was the perfect beach weekend getaway to replenish our souls. We only wished we’d booked longer at this sanctuary!!! Will definitely be back again to holiday at this gem.
