Located in beautiful Somers, this delightfully furnished three bedroom cottage is set in a quiet tree lined court surrounded by native bush land and is only a short walk to the beach. It features a fantastic outdoor dining room/kitchen set in a large landscaped garden.

Features:

Lounge/dining- Comfortable leather sofas, TV, DVD , Bose 'Wave' sound system, board games, air conditioner, dining table and polished concrete floors.

Kitchen - Electric oven, microwave, fridge, all kitchen utensils and quality crockery.

Master bedroom - Queen bed with ensuite bathroom. (Shower and hand basin)

Bedroom 2 - Queen bed

Bedroom 3 - 1 single bed (with extra mattress if required)

Laundry - Washing machine, iron, ironing board and cloths horse.

Outdoor room - Set in a beautifully landscaped garden with timber deck and Castlemaine slate paved area, equipped with a Heatlie stainless steel BBQ, extension dining table (seats up to 10) and a drinks fridge.

PET FRIENDLY: Small dogs may be allowed subject to written confirmation by the owner. The Somers dog beach is an easy 10 minute walk away. Owners are fully responsible for their dog.

Great family weekend

This is our second visit to She-oak cottage and again we appreciated the large back garden and view of the native garden from the house. Somers is a wonderful place and the house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Very easy communication with host, and 12pm checkout meant we could enjoy a leisurely swim before leaving, thanks Monica.

Perfect 9 days in a garden paradise

3 generations and 2 puppy dogs couldn’t have asked for more !! Quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac. Magical back garden for all ages to play read and enjoy a bbq. Highly recommended.

Perfect Somers Get Away

The perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful peninsula. Very comfortable, quiet and peaceful accommodation. Monica was a wonderful host, great communication and the chocolates were a great hit with the teens as well as the adults. Would highly recommend and we would love to return for another stay.

Easy, family friendly relaxation.

We had a great stay with our two young children and dog. The house had everything we needed. The native gardens at the house were lovely. Would happily stay again. The host was understanding of some issues we had and had good communication.

Great Experience

The Cottage is lovely, very clean and well presented. It has everything you need for your stay. Monica is extremely helpful and great to deal with. The surroundings are beautiful, we were surrounded by bird song having our drink in the garden, we even had an echidna come to visit out the front. I would definitely recommend She-Oak Cottage.

Graduation Weekender

We came down for our son’s graduation at HMAS Cerberus and chose this accommodation because of its close proximity to the base. We weren’t sure what to expect but the house was perfect- and in such a beautiful area within walking distance to the beach. Our host was very gracious and I would definitely recommend She-Oak Cottage.

Our Quiet Escape to the Beach

Our mixed group of Grandparents, parents, 2 kids, & dog, all enjoyed ours 4 nights @ "Sheoaks of Somers". A comfortable, scrupulously clean home set in the most delightful native gardens in both front & large back yards which also encourages birds, & is enjoyable for all including kids, fur kids. Meals outside are easily enjoyed in the very well set up Outdoor covered, BBQ area, especially at sunset & later to view the night sky! Pleasant walk to & on the beach, lovely area, friendly people. A special Thankyou to Monica for prompt answers to my questions, & the many thoughtful extras. Yes, we would like to return in the future. Liz & family.

Excellent property

This was a lovely house in a small town with plenty of room for couples or families. It's nearby to a beach - which is probably better for a walk than a swim. There is a spacious back yard with an undercover outdoor area and a functional and roomy kitchen with plenty of utensils etc. Our stay was only for two nights and we were out for most of the time, but for those wanting a relaxing and comfortable place to stay on Mornington Peninsula I'd recommend this property for consideration.

Great house to enjoy with family/children

She-oak cottage was comfortable, everything we needed was provided, kids loved the huge lawn and we all enjoyed the garden and outdoor covered dining area as an additional space. Will definitely come back. And all in beautiful Somers!!

Bliss near the sea

Amazing back and front yard to watch the bird life. We were lucky to be there when the frangipani had bloomed so the smell in the air was just beautiful. Lit the fire, pressed play on the cd and we were immediately relaxed.

Beach getaway

We had a lovely stay at Somers. The house has everything you need for a great summer break. A lovely grassy backyard with pergola to sit under. There is a local beach to walk along, but swimming beach is a 5 min drive or 25 min walk away. Dog friendly back yard and lots of lovely native birds and garden.
