River Bend Retreat - Holiday Home Rental

River Bend Retreat offers comfortable accommodation located on the banks of the Murray river. Perfect get away for couples, families or groups, you'll love the experience this place will deliver.
Our house comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with 4 bedrooms.

- Fire pit overlooking the water and beautiful sunsets, some wood provided.
- Lots of wildlife and birds

- Lockable shed to keep your ski gear in.
- Nice safe gradual beach, shallow water, safe for the kids
- The rear bedroom and upstairs bedroom offer views of the river as well as the upstairs entertaining deck
- Plenty of river frontage to enjoy water sports, a spot of fishing or maybe just relax and enjoy the wildlife.
-5 minutes drive to The Bend Motor Sport Park.
- This is the perfect place to come & enjoy some water activities with friends or just sit around the fire pit and enjoy each other company.
PLEASE NOTE STRICTLY;
No Pets
No Smoking inside
No Parties or large gatherings
Do not sleep on the beds without using fitted sheets & flat sheets or additional cleaning fee applies. Only 1 vessel allowed.
When we have back to back bookings, check in is 3pm.
There are steps going down to rivers edge.
Please do dishes & sweep floor before leaving. Leave house neat & tidy. We do NOT supply toiletries, please bring your own.
Take home any extra rubbish that won’t fit in bins. If you have no reviews, you will be asked to supply government issued ID with photo & may be required to pay bond up front. Maximum 10 guests.

Brilliant property with all that you would need
Very impressive property that was all as described. Having a 43 degree day while we were there, all the fans and Air Cons worked perfectly. Everything is catered for particularly if you have a large family group. Great access to The Murray River as well.

Weekend away
Rachel was very easy to communicate with, from the deposit right through to the check in process. The property is a bit of a hidden gem. Looks like an old cottage from the front, then descending the steps to the river you enter your own bit of paradise. Plenty of well maintained grassed area, private beach with sand and no river sludge, and plenty of shade from the large trees. Going back up is a bit of a climb (around 80 steps) but well worth it. The house itself is pleasant with large bedrooms with air con or fan in all, and a good enclosed entertaining area. All areas with steps (inside and outside) have child gates installed, and good protection from the main road (easily fit 4 cars behind the garage door). Well worth a stay and a bargain for the price.

A beautiful spot by the river
We loved our 5 night stay at Riverbend. Our family had a very hot March long weekend but the air conditioning and ceiling fans in the house worked a treat. Everything was spotlessly clean, well laid out and with loads of utensils and storage containers. Very comfy beds too. This tranquil setting by the river is just beautiful. We lived in the river and on the kayaks. Thank you Rachel for being a good host and for being very accessible if needed.

Great riverside property, games room was awesome with a fantastic view in all weather. Kitchen and facilities most welcoming. Spent ages sitting at the tables in kitchen and games room just catching up because the atmosphere was fantastic.

Perfect winter getaway
A wonderful place to stay all times of the year, but perfect for us for a winter getaway; plenty of things to do with the kids and adults, with undercover areas and the games room was great at night time. A lot of steps to the water, but didnt affect us much because the weather being so cold so we enjoyed the stunning view from the top. Close proximity to the local shops and pub, and stunning views of the river. The only thing it didnt have was wifi, not that us adults were complaining but the teens did! It had everything else we needed and we would love to return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful getaway!

Great place for a getaway! Beautiful house and great location. Very clean and modern bedrooms and furniture. Amazing back yard with heaps of space for the family. We had a great time and we would definitely be back!

A quick getaway from Adelaide, calm and serene surroundings with lots of activities for both adults and kids. We loved every moment spent here with time spent on the Table Tennis rivalry to the Kayak expeditions till the fond memories made around the bonfire

We had a great time at a great location on the river. It had everything to make us feel comfortable, plenty of activities for the kids. A nice sandy beach for the boat and jet ski. We would highly recommend this place to stay to anyone looking for a get away 👍🏼

superb!
Our group of 5 adult friends managed to stay here during the biggest 2+ day storm. No kayaking for us, but the cosiest and cleanest place ever. We loved it and wanted for nothing except maybe a poker for the fire pit on night one! thank you to the owners for accommodating our altered plans due to the storm. Beds perfect, linen of quality and games room lovely. Stairs to the grassed level not for the faint hearted, unfit or the wobbly. Loved this place. Thankyou.

What a Gem of a retreat
Everything you needed has been catered for. A few steps to the beautiful grassed riverbank but worth the trek down. Fishing rods, Kayaks, and life jackets supplied. Lazing under the shady trees, watching & listening to the fly overs of the flocks of local corellas, nature at its best. We loved the games room, beautiful view of the river and enjoying the sunsets from the large window. Table tennis, bbq, darts, music something for everyone. Thankyou for a relaxing fun time had by all
