2 Bedroom Waterfront Cottage

WATER FRONT HOUSE
Tastefully, fully furnished, 2 bedroom cottage with private boat jetty.
Accommodation suits up to 4 people (one queen bed & two single beds).
Main Bedroom has a queen size bed, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan and reverse cycle air-conditioner.
Second bedroom has two single beds and built in wardrobe.
Newly Renovated Bathroom.
Fully self-contained kitchen includes fridge, freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, crockery, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, baking dishes, salad bowls, platters & kitchen utensils.
Pantry items such as tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, cling wrap supplied.
Eat dinner alfresco by the waterfront or indoors with a dining table that seats six.
Reverse Cycle air-conditioning in main bedroom & open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area.
Kayaks available free for guest use. Life jackets also provided.
Bed linen & towels supplied.

NOT SAFE for small children.
DOES NOT suit children who are not competent swimmers, as there is direct access to the water.

Dora Creek itself is beautiful. The cottage is fully renovated, very attractive accommodation. Everything that you need is provided. We used the kayaks on a beautiful sunny day, perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location for some old school friends to catch up, relax and unwind with some fishing and boating. The setting was quiet with plenty of wildlife and the home had everything we needed for our 3 night stopover. Communication from the owner was fantastic with prompt responses to any questions

Great stay.
Was there for four nights. It rained every day but we still enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of things to do inside. Also enjoyed feeding the ducks, lizards and birds. House was exactly as described and had everything we needed.

Great little house on the water
We had such a lovely stay at Dora Creek. The kids really loved fishing on the doorstep and we had some great little day trips whilst staying here. The house is very clean and tidy and it has some great additions like beach towels, games for the kids and a special bonus of complimentary chilled champagne and beer for the adults. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again someday.

The Best Place to Stay in Morisset
If you are visiting Morisset or the surrounding areas, then you should definitely stay at the Waterfront Cottage. It is a home away from home, with little extra touches. The coffee machine and pods made our morning coffee extra special. My husband and adult children had an awesome time fishing on the river in the kayaks. The place was spotlessly clean and check in and check out was seamless. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I definitely would. Kim you have a little diamond here and we would definitely book with you again.

Great location
Nice little two bedroom home. Backyard backed onto Dora Creek. Had everything you need. Great spot for fishing ! Updated bathroom , which is lovely. Very comfy beds. The cleanliness of the kitchen and lounges were a bit of a let down, both needing a deep clean. A dust bunny was also left on the bedside table in The second room , found this on my arrival. Over all would stay again !!!

Dora Creek Cottage
The cottage was fully stocked with all essentials needed. We visited from the US for an extended period of time and used the home as our base for visiting many places (Sydney, Blue Mountains, New Castle, Port Stephens, Nelson Bay, and numerous beaches and National Parks).The cottage is very private with a lot of wildlife such as, water dragons, ducks, colorful parrots that landed on the porch rail and a falcon. Kayaks and fishing gear to enjoy. Communication with the owner was great and she was very gracious to provide anything needed. Dora Creek worker’s club very close for drinks and cheap eats. Local seafood market, liquor store, and grocery store close to the home. We had a wonderful time visiting.

Relaxing by the water
Very well presented and functional 2br house fully equipped for a few days away to relax. Scrupulously clean, excellent facilities , huge fridge. Had a little trouble with one of A/C units but maybe just my inability to work out the symbols. A user guide would be helpful on site. Fridge is huge and BBQ does the job for up to 4. Wine and beer in fridge is nice touch. Beds soft and comfy. Plenty towels/blankets etc. Location is close to local shops by car 5 mins and Morriset only another 10 mins away for Coles etc. Overall quiet and relaxing yet could be an ideal base for exploring coast and Hunter. Highly recommended.
