About this property

The house has 2 bedrooms sleeps maximum of 5 people. Main bedroom has a queen bed second room queen with single bunk above.
Third bedroom is a sleepout with queen bed which is approx 3mtrs from the back door entry. Should you wish to use this area there is an additional charge of $30.00 per night. Maximum number for sleeping at property is 7.
Good size open plan kitchen, living and dining .
There is a large lawn area at the front of the property with a trampoline in the corner. The property opens out through bifold doors to a paved outdoor area great for alfressco dining . The property is safe for family of all ages as it is fully fenced and flat section. There is access from the back of the property into the Waitaere forest, including plenty of play areas for children, along with walking /cycling tracks.
The property has sky TV including sky sport.
Separate shower and toilet, including a second outdoor shower, great for rinsing off after the beach.
This bach is fully double glazed and insulated so cosy and warm in all weather.

Amazing, roomy & great location

What a little gem this place is. The great open plan was great for us and our visiting family. Beautiful beach just at the end of the road, kids fairy garden and playground wonderland behind. Everything you could think of was provided. Owners so obliging. Wonderful stay!

Perfect getaway so close to the beach!

This Bach had everything needed for the perfect family weekend getaway. The beds were comfy and house was very warm in winter with the use of a heat pump. The secure fencing was great for the children, along with the trampoline and kids toys and books. The outdoor shower is a real treat!

Great stay

We all really enjoyed our stay. Beds are nice and comfy and good quality pillows too. The yard space is really good for outdoor games like cricket. The only thing we were a bit disappointed about was that there was a hot tub listed in the amenities however there was no hot tub on the property.

Weekend get away

We had such a wonderful stay. The house was clean and tidy with enough space for our family of 6. It had everything that we needed and more. The kids loved the trampoline and even made friends with the neighbours. The weather wasn't the greatest but there were games to choose from so we kept ourselves occupied. Everything was in easy reach. We had the best time and will definitely be back in the near future. Thanks so much.

A fantastic house, will definitely visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! Great location and a lovely warm clean property with everything you could need. Our boys (age 6 and 3) are asking when can we go back again. Another trip will definitely be getting planned.

Great location, clean, tidy and has a dishwasher

Loved this bach and would 100% stay here again. The bach is in a great location on a quiet road - a few mins walk to the sea and there's also access via the back gate to the forest where you can walk a couple of mins to a community-built playground. There's also a large front lawn with a trampoline - great for the kids to burn off energy. It's a compact building but everything has been cleverly laid out so it feels spacious. The outdoor shower is great and very private (just remember to pull the privacy screen around - we didn't notice it initially). There's a dishwasher which is not common in NZ baches - this allowed us to spend more time relaxing rather than procrastinating over dishes. The only thing to be aware of is that there's no wifi. There's a strong 4G signal on Vodafone so I was able to work from "home" without any issues.

We had an amazing time! Highly recommended

We stayed here with a group of 6, including two young children, and we had a blast. Colleen was very friendly and helpful. The bach is in a perfect location, very close to the beach, and close to the forest with play area and a fairy garden. The bach itself had everything we needed and was spacious. We'll definitely return!

A great compact open living cottage

Love that the kitchen, dining and lounge all in one room. Kids had a great time on the trampoline and playing pole tennis outside. In the evening playing games together at the table after tea. Saturday had fun in the fairy forest with access through a gate out the back fence. About a minute to the beach, and after came back to an awesome outside shower. Highly recommended to any family with kids who want a bit of adventure and a great place to stay..
