Strikes 1 and 2 are two stand-alone eco-friendly, architecturally designed one bedroom self-contained luxury guesthouses nestled in the heart of Mudgee wine country, 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. The newly constructed guesthouses have been designed to make the most of the elevated views of Mudgee and the surrounding vineyards.

Strikes 1 enjoys spectacular elevated views over lucerne flats and neighbouring vineyards, with the lights of Mudgee in the distance . Relax on the deck with a glass of Mudgee wines and take it all in, or ask about a private in house wine tasting from Rosby wines. You'll be able to fully unwind from your busy life when your immersed in the bespoke, private setting provided at Strikes. Book a tour of Mudgees best vineyards which are all at your doorstep and finish the day with dinner at one several top class restaurants the Mudgee has to offer (we can pass on recommendation). Or you might choose to stay in and take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen or BBQ at your accommodation. Turners stay

Great spot for a country escape

Loved the property - just perfect for my wife and I. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Would have liked to enjoy the outdoor deck a bit more but found the road noise a bit too much (not an issue when inside or at night).

Gorgeous house and surrounds

Not only is Strikes 1 comfortable, its is absolutely beautiful and well designed. Small thoughtful things like enough shelf room in the bathroom, two generous racks for suitcases in the bedroom and large fluffy towels. It’s the small things that make the difference. The outlook and location are also great. We will definitely be back.

This property was lovely and the location was amazing. It’s close to everything but it’s just far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. We truely enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back.

Great Mudgee Accommodation

We had a great stay at Strikes as it was very relaxing and extremely private. The units are new and have everything we needed. Extremely comfortable bed and great shower. The visits from the kangaroos was also unique, Highly recommend this property.

Amazing place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Strikes. It was super close to town and many local wineries, It had everything you’d need & was super relaxing! Waking up to kangaroos jumping through the land around us in the morning was beautiful! We will highly recommend Strikes to all our family & friends.

Stunning & relaxing!

Strikes 1 was just stunning, beautiful location looking back over the town of Mudgee and less than 10 minutes to town. Great heating and a fireplace for our winter stay, very relaxing! Booking was great, and when I had to change our dates Justin was great and gave me timely responses. Recommend it to anyone who need a comfy and homely place to stay in Mudgee - thanks!

Perfect winter getaway

Strikes is the perfect place to base yourself whilst visiting the Mudgee region. Beautifully appointed with all you need. Peaceful surrounds with amazing views over the wineries and the town of Mudgee. Lovely to watch the wallabies and kangaroos early morning and late afternoon in front of the welcome fireplace. Strikes is close to many wineries and restaurants and 20 mins to Gulgong. Easy check in process and great communication with the owner Justin. Highly recommend and will be back. Thanks for a lovely (and much needed) relaxing stay Justin.

Stunning, relaxing and comfortable

We couldn’t have asked for anything better. We love Mudgee for the country side, food, wine and the people and we got to relax in a place that captures what Mudgee is about. There is great food 5 minutes away (Zin House) great wine 5 minutes away (Rosbys and any other number of great vineyards) and what a view.

Special retreat in Mudgee.

Just what we were looking for, luxury self catering property just out of town. A great base for exploring vineyards and nearby villages. Quiet, private, with great views. Best features.... comfortable bed, views, excellent air conditioning, privacy, BBQ on the deck, well appointed.

Incredible place for couples to stay in Mudgee with beautiful view

Very clean and cosy. Features beautiful local artwork. Close to the wineries, amazing view from the deck and inside the guesthouse. A very peaceful and relaxing location. Looking forward to our next stay in Mudgee at strikes 1.

Amazing, special, one of a kind and unbelievably romantic

This is an incredible place to stay if you are visiting mudgee. The house is amazing, with large open windows that let the sun stream through during the day and a lovely fireplace to get cosy Infront of at night . There is also an amazing bathroom, with under floor heating and a shower that feels like you are amongst nature.The location is right near all the great wineries and restaurants and Justin has a great knowledge of the locals and recommendations. He was very prompt with his communication and helped me with my special requests. Will definitely stay againand have recommended it to many others
