Just outside Inlet, you can be sure to recharge and reconnect with what truly matters- family, friends, and nature! We love this area and want to share just how great the ADKS can be. Enjoy all the local shops, restaurants, bars, trails, lakes, and attractions our home away from home has to offer. Relax in the large yard, sit around a classic Adirondack bonfire, wake up to your favorite coffee or beverage on the screened in porch, or take a relaxing stroll to 6th and 7th lake bridge for those amazing panoramic photos! We can’t wait to share this magical place with our guests.
Upon arriving, you can park under the large carport. It is large enough to accommodate four small vehicles or two long trucks. There is also parking for one car on either side of the carport. Snowmobilers can leave their trailers either in the large yard or under the carport for the season (December-March).
The bedrooms have all been updated with brand new comfortable mattresses and plush pillows with comforters for a great nights rest (guests supply their own linens/towels). Be sure to open the windows on a cool summer evening to let in the sounds of nature and the smell of the pine trees to relax you. All three bedrooms have been furnished with dressers for all occupants as well an armoire in the master bedroom and full closet in the guest room with the queen bed.
The home comes with a clothes washer and dryer as well as an ironing board and iron for those quick clothing touch ups. We have provided basic hand towels for drying your hands and for clean dishes.
The newly renovated kitchen comes fully stocked with all the essential utensils and cookware, including pots/pans, baking sheets, sauté pans, coffee maker, flat iron grill, tea kettle, microwave and full size gas stove. We also provide all flatware with plenty of cups, mugs, wine glasses, plates and bowls. We are sure you will gather around our large farmhouse kitchen table (right next to the fireplace) and make memories that will last a lifetime. Guests and friends can play all of their favorite games to their hearts content or build those extra challenging puzzles.
The living room has been furnished with a cozy sectional to gather on and watch their favorite tv shows or movies on those cold or rainy days. We have provided a large flat screen smart TV, including spectrum high speed internet, which will give you access to all of your favorite streaming services. We have provided basic board games, puzzles and decks of cards for your enjoyment.
Step out onto the screened in porch for bug free entertainment and relaxation. There is a small table and plenty of extra seating for hanging out. We have also provided a gas grill (guests provide their own fuel) complete with cooking utensils.
The large yard is perfect for playing games. Bring your own corn hole or horse shoes, frisbee or football and enjoy the outdoors! There is also a large campfire pit for great bonfires to roast marshmallows and sing with friends. There are plenty of road stands around the immediate area which sell firewood or feel free to use any remaining firewood in the lean-to.
Please understand we are located in the Adirondacks and there is plenty of nature around. While we try to provide a great experience for all, there are certain situations which we can not control or be responsible for. It is not uncommon in the Adirondacks to experience a power, cable/internet outage. Bring skin care products- bug spray/sun screen. We also ask that guests leave the outside of the home free of any food as it attracts small and large animals. Take all recycling and garbage to the transfer station 2 miles down the road on Limekiln Lake Road. Please do not leave food inside of your parked vehicle overnight as bears have been known to damage vehicles trying to get in them. We also ask to keep others in the neighborhood in consideration during late night (11pm) activities and be aware of sound levels. We want everyone to enjoy the peace and quiet this area has to offer.
The fall is especially beautiful in the Adirondacks region. This is a great area to explore with all of the surrounding local trails to get those favorite shots of the changing leaves and blue lakes. Not too far from Inlet, you can take a quick drive north to Blue Mountain Lake, Raquette Lake, Tupper lake or even go all the way to Lake Placid. This is also a great place in the winter time as Inlet and Old Forge have plenty to do and see year round.
Upon leaving, we ask that the camp is returned to how it was found with all garbage removed, dishes stored away. We have provided basic cleaning supplies for your use during and at the end of your stay.
Thanks for looking! Should you have any questions about your stay please reach out to us, we are hear to help!
