Myrtle Beach

The condo was clean, and comfortable. It is an AMAZING location to the beach, just a short walk. It is also a short walk/drive across the street to shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for relaxing and rejuvenating trip, this is it. Our group plans on returning next summer!

A wonderful stay

The property is lovely, the unit is beautiful and well stocked, and the facilities were the best. There is even a little library bookcase to swap out books during your stay. Right on the ocean with a small pond for ducks and turtles and a tidal creek where the wild birds visit for meals during high tide. Many places to sit, walk, and enjoy the views.

I very much enjoyed our rental and would consider rental next year. The cost was reasonable. The patio and view to the water was nice. To improve the experience please give better information about how to check in to property. Also not enough towels if six persons were in the unit. Minor issues. Had a great month in Myrtle beach ⛱️.

The best spot to stay in North Myrtle Beach!

My family has been coming to the Ocean Creek Plantation since the 1960’s when it was “Ponderosa Campground”, and this year marks the 4th generation to stay there. Of all the rooms we have stayed at (mostly in South Tower) this one was the best setup! Very clean and well decorated, good view of the bridge and duck pond which my daughter loved. We will definitely be coming back as long as this room is available. Thank you to the owners and property manager for the amazing memories! Let me know if you ever want to sell it ;)

South tower

Overall our stay was wonderful. We didn't hear anybody from other condos, it was a quick walk to the beach, and the lagoon was nice for smaller kids to enjoy the ocean and not get swept out by the waves. The condo had everything we needed. The only downfall was no carpeting or mats in the entry, bathrooms, or by the beds so sand was everywhere and you couldn't really take your shoes off in the condo because of the sand, it even made it into our sheets. The pool was nice but they came and closed it early every night( 9p-10p)and my 9 and 4 yr old weren't allowed in the hot tub.(which they love and were very upset about). Parking was great and the condo was close to everything in myrtle Beach. Updated laundry was great also. Overall, it was a good stay:)

Ocean Creek's finest!

We loved this property and this is pretty much the best unit in the entire complex. It will surely become our "go-to" spot for a beach getaway. The decor is perfect for the beach, the unit is super clean, and the balcony is huge. Parking is very easy and the amenities at Ocean Creek are plentiful. The screen door off the living room does not work properly, but other than that, this unit is in tip-top shape. We are already planning our next trip!

Very clean and great location... a few mishaps

When we arrived the lock box code we were given was incorrect. We had to wait 45 minutes for the property owner to call us back. They were very nice and apologetic. We were able to get the accurate code easily once in touch with them. We had just driven 8 hours though and were very ready to get settled. When we did enter the property it was very clean. I checked all the beds for bed bugs before we came in and everything was very clean. The mattresses were encased and looked new! I really liked that! Two downsides, the first is that the washing machine wasn’t working properly and secondly the house cleaning manager randomly showed up with an air conditioning unit service man to make repairs. We had no warning that this would occur and it interrupted our day, as we were in our way out, but that has to hang around until they were finished. It would have been nice to know they were coming, and if they just went in without us knowing would have really upset me as we had valuable sleep with us. Otherwise the property was very nice! If we go back, we would stay a couple floors higher to see the whole ocean from the deck.

Could not access lock box with code. Contacted Test Rentals and Kimmer acted as if it was my fault. Had 3 other people besides myself attempt lock box with various codes she was supplying. None of them worked. When I didn't get a call back as promised, I contacted her again and building security myself. She said she had left a message with Ocean Creek security. This went on for quite a while and I received no "I'm sorry this happened. I will rectify this immediately." Because of my call, security let me in the unit. No one from Ocean Creek or Teats cleaning woman were ever able to open the lock box. Mark Teat called and couldn't be more apologetic, which was nice to hear instead of attitude from Kilmer. Regarding Ocean Creek and our unit, couldn't be happier. Had an absolutely wonderful time. Will be back
