Lovely few days in Paris. Recommend as so local to everything you go to Paris to see and so many lovely restaurants nearby. Everything within walking distance. Apartment could do with comfortable chair as the sofa bed is a bit of a pain to put up and down every day but otherwise great for what we needed it for.
The host, Gary, was amazing. Provided us with all the information and the description of the flat was spot on. The location of the property is perfect. Easy access to shopping, the Seine and Metro. The property was clean and well equipped. Would 100% stay there again. Merci beaucoup!
What a great place to stay in Paris! Charming studio with high ceilings, large windows, cozy and comfortable in my favourite area of Paris-- St Germain. Easy check in, everything provided, and surprisingly quiet even though it's so centrally located.
Just returned from a week in Paris where we stayed at this property. The location is fantastic! Your minutes away from bakeries to start the day with quiche or croissants. The Metro (Odeon) is less than a 5 minute walk. Less than 10 mins is the Jardins de Luxembourg which is a beautiful area. Notre Dame is about 15 min walk. Lots of cafe's and restaurants around - including a great "American" style pub called "The Moose" just one street away. There are also markets nearby.Oh, and be sure to stroll 5 mins down Saint-Sulpice to see a magnificent church that was featured in The Da Vinci Code movie. The sleeper sofa was comfortable and when we folded it back to the couch for the day there was plenty of room. There is a little bit of road noise when the street sweepers or trash trucks come by early morning but not so much as to be a burden.Gary was fantastic in getting back to us whenever we had questions.Overall a great stay!
First, it’s a fantastic location. Walking distance to the Louvre, Cluny, restaurants, food stores and nice shops. Then, the little apartment has everything… full kitchen with cook top, oven, microwave, fridge and even a little washing machine. Bathroom has a shower, a tub, of course a sink and toilet plus heated towel rack. I stayed there in December and was completely comfortable with the heaters and plenty of bedding. Also close to Metro and a bunch of bus lines so get yourself a “Navigo Easy” card at the subway entrance and you can go anywhere, including the airport. I enjoyed my stay.
Perfect spot in every way for our romantic stay in Paris. Location is perfect! Host is fantastic and very accommodating. We loved our time, hated to leave, will return.
This beautiful first-floor apartment (one flight of stairs) is located in St-Germain-des-Prés (6th arr.), approximately a 3-minute walk from the Odeon Metro. I have always loved this area for its architectural beauty, cleanliness, and safe feeling. The apartment is fantastic for one or two people. Our check-in was extremely easy; Gary responded quickly to any questions. The bed is a pull-out, but it is very comfortable. My husband is 6'5", and it was long enough for him. It is always nice having a kitchen with all the amenities. I would mention that, although there is a Nespresso coffee machine, you need to purchase your own pods, which was not a problem. The grocery store is just down the street, which is also convenient. You are surrounded by wonderful restaurants and shops. The bus and metro are steps away, taking you to any sites you wish to see. The Jardin du Luxembourg is around the corner if you would like to stroll through the gardens and relax. This apartment is truly located in a perfect area. This was my husband's first trip to Paris, and he is already planning another. Merci Gary for your hospitality.
This apartment is all two people could ask for in looking for a charming, cozy, and convenient home away from home in Paris. Gary was very easy to communicate with and flexible about timing, the check in process was simple, and we found the apartment in perfectly clean condition. The sofa bed is comfortable and the small kitchen has all you need. The water pressure in the shower is strong. The decor is charming and just stepping into the building feels like going back in time. Perhaps most of all, despite being on a small and quiet street itself, it is in the ideal location for exploring its own lively neighborhood and for accessing anywhere else in Paris that you might hope to visit. I highly recommend 9 Rue St. Sulpice for a cozy 1 or 2 person adventure in Paris!
.Apartment clean and in great building/location . Apartment ideal for short stay. Neighborhood has everything needed to enjoy living locally. Easy 10 minute walk to metro.
We landed in Paris earlier than we were scheduled and Gary was the perfect host allowing us to enter early. He quickly answered any questions we had. Communication was easy.
It’s the perfect location to see Paris, great restaurants in the area, close to a metro stop, We loved it!
Quick note to any Americans, the apartment is on the first floor, however the floor you come into off the street is the zero floor. So walk up a flight of stairs and remove any confusion.

My stay was wonderful. I can't say enough about it. I was lucky enough to spend a month and I felt at home immediately. So much so, that I will be going back for a month next year. Treat yourself to a wonderful day in Paris.
My daughter spent two weeks in Gary's appartment. She really enjoyed it. The location is in the centre and thus great and not less important safe. The appartments was very nice as well. The communication with Gary was very good. My daughter was very well received by Gary. Thank you Gary! I'd recommend this appartment to family and friends.

Cleanliness was a problem
We were there for 8 nights. We had to wash the kitchenware. Some pans were stored away with traces of food. We were deceived by the pictures. But the location was Very good location.
This is a fabulous studio... With a wonderful modern kitchen and all the conveniences, In a spectacular neighborhood with fabulous restaurants and all of the food shops one could want. I would have given 5 stars for communication with Gary but only because the answers were not forthcoming months before my stay. However once it was within a week of my stay ,he responded very quickly and immediately to all questions and when I told him that the microwave didn't work and he confirmed he brought a new 1 within 2 hours. He was totally delightful. I've stayed in many different hotels and apartments in Paris over many decades and as I've already said ,would stay in this lovely little studio again without any hesitation.
We really loved our stay at 9 rue Saint-Sulpice.
1. Outstanding location. Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, but not on one of the louder main road, We walked to Notre Dame, Louvre, Seine, Luxumberg Gardens, Pantheon, Shakespeare bookstore & more. All are within 1/2 mile or so.
2. Nice Renovation. The unit has a modern kitchen, including w/d and it was nice to have all of the other requirements as well.
3. Perfect size for the 2 of us. This is a small, studio apartment with a pull out bed. It was perfect for us and since were were always out enjoying the city, we never pulled the bed up. Just know that the unit is probably too small for more than two.
4. Great Communication & Check In. This was our first vrbo out of the US and we were a little nervous about the check in & assistance. The Check In deal was easy and Gary responded to all of our messages and actually came over to help us with the TV. Very impressive service & responsiveness from Gary.

Great location in a great neighborhood
We loved the location of the apartment and interaction with our host was very good and easy. It’s a charming place on a great street with lots of amenities nearby. What was not great was the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. The shower door leaked to the floor and had rubbery caulk sprayed all around that did not stop the water from getting everywhere. The rubbery caulk was also sprayed around the tub spout and it was pulling away from the tub. The handheld shower head was covered in mold and grey slime and the bathroom sink had black mold all around the drain. The freezer door was frozen shut and the sink had leaked quite a lot and the things under the sink had been left to rot in the water. One very large upper cabinet was completely missing a hinge which was a bit concerning each time you opened it. The piles of dust and trash under the bed were a clear indication that someone isn’t paying attention. Even the coffee maker was very dirty and full of used coffee pods and old coffee in the tray. All of that to say, this dear little apartment needs someone to look after it and do the much needed maintenance.
