First time at an off-grid property and it was an experience to remember.
James was easy to contact and extremely helpful.
The house was clean, very well furnished and very welcoming. Countless activities to do on and off property.
Definitely coming back!

Great experience in the bush off grid with the comforts of home. Road in is a bit rocky but no problem for my Subaru . James was great at explaining the property and walks around . The highlight was having a BBQ outside and sitting around the fire pit at night

About the host
Hosted by JAMES CANNY
My wife, son and I have enjoyed travelling in Europe and the Balkans in a motorhome for 12 months, we enjoyed the freedom and adventures. We often stayed in national parks and enjoyed living off the Grid. This house reminds us of the times we were free to camp in national parks. We love the privacy, close encounters with wildlife and low tech environment.
Why they chose this property
We have Koalas, Kangaroos, Echidnas, Lizards and Eagles at the property. Sugar gliders live in the roof and jump off the side of the house at dusk. The property is 'OFF-THE-GRID' so not your typical house but still has amenities such as stove, fridge, compost toilet and showers (only to be had during the day). AWD/4WD ACCESS ONLY.
What makes this property unique
Solar power only DVD only, board games and books are provided. No Air conditioning as the property is "Off Grid". There is a ceiling fan that works off the 12v solar system. Washer but no dryer Not suitable for toddlers/small children. AWD/4WD ACCESS Highly recommended Helicopter Landings available
