Charming antique boat house located directly on Long Pond. Quiet, peaceful accommodations with 180 views. Watch the American Bald Eagles and Osprey search for fish at dusk from your private deck that reaches out over the pond. Long Pond is full recreation, and kayaks are available. Hiking, bicycling, golfing, fishing, swimming, boating, snorkeling, sunbathing, and napping are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed in the quaint, semi-private, pond-front accommodation. We are just 2 miles from the Pinehills golf courses, 6 miles from White Horse Beach, 7 miles from Pine Hills mountain bike trails, and 8 miles from downtown Plymouth where you can go whale watching, deep sea fishing, take the ferry to Provincetown, or attend many of our tourist attractions.We are just 10 miles from the Cape Cod Canal. The view!!!

Amazing location, directly on the lake. Absolutely beautiful. Very clean, large , quiet lake. Must stay. Small beach front to hang out with dock that works well for fishing or hanging. Right across the street from location are beautiful hiking trails with lots of wild life. Host were very kind and accommodating.

Best Gift I give to Myself

My 5th time staying. I gift myself a stay at this cottage twice a year . If you love waking up to the sunrise over a beautiful pond..if you love watching the fish jump in the eve just before sunset..if you love listening to the incredible variety of birds songs and watch waterfowl go about their routines: this cottage stay is for you ! Fishing off the dock,kayaking ( kayaks provided )launching from your own beach , Miles of walking trails around other ponds and woods.just step out the door. this restored antique boathouse is my retreat. as soon as i step into it,i feel restored myself. id like to point out that i travel/stay alone and as a single older woman , it is very important to feel safe while staying at a place . Ive stayed 5 times with plans for a 6th..Best retreat experience i can ever ask for. Stacey

We’ll be back!

We stayed at the boathouse for just a short time, but wish it was so much longer! The space itself is beautiful on its own. The two cherries on top were the views and Lynn’s local recommendations. We’ll be back one day!

A Perfect Get-Away Spot

We couldn't be happier with our stay at the Boathouse -- sturdy little cottage on a beautiful lake, spotless rooms, comfy beds, creatively decorated. Close enough to Cape Cod and major attractions, but away from tourist congestion. The Boathouse was the best part of our trip!

Perfect!!!

We are ages 89 and 84 and this is the very best place we have ever stayed on vacation!!!!!! Over the years we have stayed at dozens of cottages all over New England. The boat house is our very favorite place and we are hoping to stay again next year!!! You step out of the living room right onto the dock where you can fish a few feet from the door. Lynn and Jack were wonderful hosts. Everything was immaculate and the boat house had everything you could possibly need. On a scale of one to ten, we give it 100. Bob and Joyce

Charming spot!

We loved the beauty of the lake and the decor of the boathouse was perfect. Beds and bedding are super comfortable and added amenities such as kayaks made it a wonderful getaway.

Peaceful lakeside retreat!

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The boathouse looked exactly like the photographs, and the location was perfect for our unplugged, Plymouth vacation. Comfy, cozy and fully equipped, the hosts were welcoming, the house relaxing, and we never tired of the lake views. We'll be planning to return, and highly recommend to others.

Peaceful Escape!!

My husband and I spent two nights at this wonderful boathouse by the water. Jack and Lynn were amazing hosts and thought of everything. The boathouse has everything you need and we felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture in the living room was also extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The dock was the best part and so peaceful to just sit and listen to the birds and watch the ducks. You literally are on the water and it was so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed having the use of the kayaks. It was a perfect getaway and we didn’t want to leave. We look forward to returning someday!! Highly recommend this property. Thank you Lynn and Jack!

The DEFINITION of VACATION!!!

I truly don't know where to start....If you are seeking a true Rest and Relaxation vacation, this is the spot for you! The hosts, Lynn and Jack, could not have been more welcoming. Jack even invited us into his home to show us his beautiful antique furniture and the views from the porch. But, honestly, the views from their Boathouse rental are BETTER! This is such a quaint, clean, peaceful property (right down to the clarity of the water!), you might not find many others like it! The only warning I might give is that a taller or large in stature person may have some difficulty in the tighter spaces. Kayaking, fishing, bird watching (We had three Bald Eagles visit within VERY close range!)...absolutely everything you could ask for from Mother Nature! And Plymouth Harbor is close enough for a little more activity if needed. If there's no such thing as "perfection"...then this place is 99% there!!! Thank you Lynn and Jack...we enjoyed every minute of Long Pond!!!

Charming boathouse

We had the most amazing stay at the boathouse. Lynn and Jack did a great job creating a wonderful, relaxing getaway. We didn’t want to leave. We loved sitting on our dock watching the water, the fish and the birds. It was truly a much needed weekend spent in nature. The location is close enough to stores and restaurants, but far enough away to give you peace and quiet.

Perfect Lakefront Escape

Lynn's boat house is exactly what my wife and I were looking for, for a shprt Holiday weekend getaway. The home was exactly as described, complete with amazing lake views. Overall we would highly recommend this home and will definitely book it again in the future.

3rd stay and not my last!!

Idyllic boathouse cottage set on a most picturesque pond . many different Waterfowl species as well as song birds and kingfishers to please the bird enthusiast . Serene setting , amazing sunrises . fish jumping when the wind quiets and the pond stills towards eve. I LOVE this place . going AGAIN .cant wait ! and i just left lol. lots of trails to walk without ever having to get in your vehicle . this cottage is a dream .
