If you love nature, there is no doubt that the Timberland Cabin will bring a smi
If you love nature, there is no doubt that the Timberland Cabin will bring a smile to your face. There are over 25 species of native trees and shrubs on the property, so you’ll want to take a stroll through the woods surrounding the cabin and test your knowledge of the forest. Or maybe you’d rather sit on the benches at the quaint rock fire pit out back and quiz one another on the foliage while you charcoal steaks in the brick grill. You are sure to feel a fresh burst of energy as you wind your way up the charming spiral staircase that stands in the middle of the cabin. Its only competition for rustic beauty is the big rock chimney that climbs the living room wall. The Timberland is a great spot for woodsy relaxation, so come and get in touch with the beautiful complexity of the forest. Located in the Carson Creek Addition, the Timberland is a 1,400 sq. ft., 4 bedroom cabin, 2 ½ bathroom, 2 story cabin that accommodates up to 8 guests. Sleeping arrangements are 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 2 twin beds. Timberland is located in the Carson creek area and is closer to the boat ramps than any other cabin location. This is perfect for better access to the lake and all its many activities.

Enjoyed the stay but the ants in the kitchen kept getting in our food. And a few cobwebs on some ceilings and some stuff. These are the stuff my sisters said they noticed. Otherwise it was clean. We are older adults and just enjoyed being away in a quiet
place out in the woods, outdoors.
We were vacationing with our siblings and spouses, since we r not getting any younger. And something you have no control over, the traffic was crazy. But we will be back.

This property was amazing and so comfortable and convenient! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The check in process was easy and we will definitely be back!
The cabin is cute, I love the loft design at the top, and the beds were comfy. The couch and chairs are clean cozy! Plenty of seating inside and outside! Location was really great! We really appreciated the ample parking room, it fit our vehicles easily!
I didn’t receive directions or the door code for our cabin in an email.. I had to call emergency maintenance to get this info.. I’m not sure if it was just over looked but this should be emailed the first day of the stay.
The cabin could have been cleaner.. the fridge was not clean.. or the night stand… and more than not we had to clean the dishes before using them...
The cabin didn’t offer any clean sponges to do the dishes with either.. so definitely rewash your dishes the sponges left was grossssss! CE please don’t ask your guest to clean and do the dishes and not offer clean sponges.
The kids room upstairs TV would turn on but would not change channels (we changed remotes and batteries, turn off and back on no luck).. Creative Escape I hope you take this opportunity to make these changes in the future.. turn every tv on before check in and to a music channel on low so that you know they are working and ready for renters.
This cabin stay was good overall!
My family and I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the proximity to Broken Bow lake (for trout fishing, which we used the grill to cook our bounty) and zip lining adventures. Loved the fire pit outside, and the big hot tub which fit all 6 of us comfortably, with 3 kids swimming about.

Timberland Review
The cabin was charming and well decorated. My only complaint were the frying pans, baking sheet which all were dirty and needed a good cleaning. There is also a lot of traffic noise. We loved the jacuzzi!
This was a perfect getaway for me and the daughters, no kids or husbands. There were plenty of shops and restaurants for us. We had a very relaxing time and this house was perfect for it. The hot tub was in use every night.
We so enjoyed our stay at this little cabin in the woods. It was the perfect size for our family of six. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we were able to make a full thanksgiving day meal in the kitchen. We enjoyed making a campfire each night and relaxing in the hot tub. Everything was perfect and we felt so at home here. We didn’t want to leave and we can’t wait to come back!!
The hot tub is big and beautiful and I really liked the fact that they had outside games to play. Very close to the lake and river. Would definitely stay again!
We booked this for a girls trip over a long weekend. There were 4 of us, all over the age of 40. The upstairs bedrooms are very "cozy". The ceiling is in a "v" and does not allow for much room walking. The one with the larger bed is a very tight squeeze for a 5'6" tall adult.
This being said, the cabin was clean - and we appreciated that. The wi-fi password we were provided in the email was incorrect and when I called - I didn't get much help. Luckily, we found it in the guestbook.
All things considered, this was a lovely stay and we would recommend it.
We really enjoyed the house. We found it very clean and comfortable with two families to share. The outdoor area is good for kids to play and the hot tub is nice, clean, and spacious. The house was pretty well stocked, but could use a few things like foil, plastic wrap, and more paper towels as we ate in most of our meals. Thank you for a great visit.
The cabin is nice, clean & in a great location. The hot tub is nice too. The description of the cabin included everything except the cameras on the property. There are 2, one by the front door and one by the back door that points toward the hot tub. The only other thing we weren't excited about was having to keep up with an actual key... 1 key no Keychain. Hopefully this gets upgraded to a key code lock.
Everything else was great!
Just to let you that the whole family absolutely loved the stay at the Timberland unit the last three days, even if it did rain the whole time. The cabin is great and Christmas decorations made it feel really welcoming an d homey. However, there are a couple of things that, I think, need some attention.
1)The cold water faucet in the front bedroom just barely trickles.
2) The volume on the downstairs TV cannot be adjusted.
3) The DVD player downstairs will not work either.
Also I would suggest adding the actual address to the directions, it would make it much easier to locate.
Again, we really did enjoy the stay,
Bruce Neal
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Timberland Cabin. It was easy to get to, clean, looked just like the photos, was stocked with more amenities than we would ever use, and located close enough to the highway for quick access to other activities (Beaver's Bend Marina, Rugaru Zipline, numerous trails), yet far enough away from the "city lights" to get a great view of the stars at night (from the hot tub, which we loved)! The animal noises under the cabin one night took us a little by surprise, but we would definitely come back again!
