Only 15 feet away from stepping into the ocean, and the unobstructed 180% ocean views of Molokai & Lanai islands with memorable sunsets & whale watching in season Enjoying your favorite dinner & wine from your living room or lanai. Nothing in front of you except the mighty enjoyable ocean & islands. You have got it all in this unique renovated private unit. You will not find a closer condo to the ocean, imagine only 15 feet away from the ocean & within walking distance anywhere in town. In-room WiFi, Non-Smoking unit, new split system A/C, new king size bed, two new twin beds that can be made into a king (if asked for), and a very comfortable queen sofa sleeper. Very convenient FREE parking 12 feet from the entry door.
For your convenience, we provide a fully stocked kitchen for those of you that want to prepare a great meal and enjoy it on the lanai listening to the sound of the ocean waves. We also provide snorkeling gear, beach chairs, beach towels, ground floor location with no steps, children friendly, and 2 BBQs. Extremely quiet and peaceful. The ocean sound will be music to your ears. Access to the ocean is on the very right of the property with a few steps to swimming and great snorkeling by the 2 reefs right here in front. Come here to have fun. No need to pack and unpack to go elsewhere, spend more time relaxing and having more fun here, or just enjoy the sound of the ocean and hang loose. Just soak it in. Remember the mighty ocean is your backyard just for you. Come and have fun. Payments in US dollars only. We follow mandatory local and state Hawaiian tax rules. City and state taxes will be added to all reservation rates, with no exceptions. Each reservation also requires a cleaning fee.

Beautiful Oceanside Condo

This beautiful place was exactly as described. Our family loved saying here - it was amazing watching sea turtles and whales just steps from the patio.

You can stop looking, YOU'VE FOUND THE ONE!!

Seriously the best!!! My husband, 6 month old baby, mother in law, and father in law stayed here for 1 week and absolutely loved it. The backyard is literally the ocean. My husband and I have been to Maui 3 times and this was by far the best place we've stayed. We all could not have been happier with this condo. Condo was super clean. Beds are very comfy. Parking is just outside the door. Lots of windows to allow a wonderful breeze, but also had AC unit in case it's usually hot (we never used it). We love to cook and found everything we needed in the kitchen, including high quality wine glasses and knives. I'm fact, we were so comfortable at the condo we ended up not eating a single meal out!! We preferred to cook at home and enjoy the view at amazing home. Francisco was a wonderful host! Before our trip I messaged him a few times to ask about baby stuff as this was our first time traveling with the baby. He was super responsive and helpful! Our little one unfortunately got sick while on vacation and again Francisco went above and beyond to help us navigate where to bring him. Francisco even let us stay late on our check out day so our sweet baby could rest before our evening flight. We will 100% be back!! Ps - if you're in need of urgent care during your visit, Rachel Graham,NP at the Minit Clinic in Lahaina was wonderful!

The Perfect Maui Vacation

Francesco and Nathalie were amazing hosts and the condo was exactly as advertised. Clean, modern, and steps from the ocean. Watching whales jump during our morning coffee to the beautiful sunsets, this vacation was exactly what our family needed. Would definitely recommend and come back in the future.

Perfect Getaway

What a view

Side of the ocean, being so close and calming as far as renting a condo. It was quiet and private. The beach, even though it was small was not crowded at all. What a treat. The condo was comfortable. Beds were super comfortable too. The host was Johnny on the spot to communicate and very helpful with information. I would stay here again highly recommend.

condo with beautiful view

We loved staying there. This unit at Maui Sands is in a nice location between the Kaanapali and Napili areas. The ocean view is gorgegous and the grounds around the unit are tropical. There isn't really a beach right there and the waves can be a bit rough in that spot but you can still swim and snorkel. Calmer swimming beaches are a short drive away.

Beautiful Maui Vacation

This property was amazing! This condo at Maui Sands was way more than we could ask for. It is a very homey, clean and upgraded unit. Everything you needed is available in the unit. It is fully stocked with everything right down to snorkel gear and beach chairs. Right as you walk in and open the back slider you look out to the ocean! We spent all of our mornings drinking coffee on the lanai and watching the whales. Such a nice breeze that blows through we never had to turn the air on. We did not take advantage of the beach in front of the condo. It was very rocky and not much beach. But there is one you can see and walk to if you really want to enjoy ocean days. We spent all our days enjoying Maui's beautiful sights and scenery. I highly recommend staying here on your vacations to Maui!

Ocean at your back door

This was a beautiful, well maintained property. The kitchen was nicely appointed and we cooked many meals there. Having the ocean so close was amazing! Our kids could snorkel and see fish and turtles at anytime and sunsets were beautiful. We would stay at this property again!

You can’t go wrong with the view

Beautiful view, very responsive management and well stocked kitchen. The unit could use a deep cleaning but overall the stay was amazing! Owner has lovely recommendations and the private unit allows you to drive and park right by the door. Great for families. You can not “play” at the beach but if you’re looking for the sound of the ocean at your door and a peaceful spot feet from the waves, this is the place! You’re paying for the view. Lots of fluffy towels and beach toys to use. Furniture and fixtures are pretty dated, but it works with the laid back, beach-hut vibe. Thanks for having us!

Nice condo with beautiful views!

Nice little condo, worked well for our family of four. The views couldn’t be better! Condo had pretty much everything we needed, including sand toys for our kids to use. There isn’t really beach access at the condo as the water was too rough for our little ones, but there was a small beach a couple blocks away.

Amazing condo - can’t get any closer to the ocean

We had a wonderful stay in Francesco’s condo. Everything felt new and clean. There were huge sea turtles right out front that you could easily see from the living room. House had everything we needed for our stay, kitchen was perfectly stocked. They even provide beach towels, snorkel gear, and sand toys for the kids!

Wish there was no construction

Would have been amazing if there wasn't a huge plyboard cutting off half of the lenia.. big hole in front of that, construction was right in front of condo. Condo was great,plenty of space, dishes, great blender to make smoothies. Rooms were a bit small, could hear the bedroom noises from the nextdoor condo at night. Pool was fine. Had to walk around the entire complex to get to the beach access and overlook. Used ac a little but mostly keeping fans running and windows open kept condo a good temp. Saw turtles multiple days swimming in front of condo. Short walk to many places, great location for us.

Amazing location!!

Beautiful vista...but could use a facelift.

The view from the condo is breathtaking. The condo itself could use bit of a facelift. Drawers were broken, patio door very hard to open, and cleaners could have done a better job. And the snorkelling gear was "ok". Could have been better organized and cleaned up a bit. Covered in sand and randomly tossed into the basket. An inexpensive knife sharpener would help make your knives razor sharp (I am a chef, and am picky about my cooking utensils!). All said, we would come back, but a trip to the hardware store would serve you well. Mahalo.

Great location, great place!

Myself and four friends stayed here when visiting Maui for the first time. The apartment/condo was clean and had all modern amenities (A/C!). Francesco always answered my call or text when I had questions about our booking/the rental. There was plenty of seating indoors and out for the five of us, and the location was conveniently close to a grocery store and food truck lot. It is also very close to downtown Lahaina, which made catching ubers cheap and fast. The real gem of the property is that there is PHENOMINAL snorkeling right outside the back patio. Tons of fish, just as diverse as the Molokini crater! Wish we had discovered that sooner! The rental has snorkeling equipment and beach chairs, which were so handy to borrow. The only negative to the rental is that there is now a back yard bamboo fence up, which impedes the view as seen in the pictures. The ocean and patio are still there to enjoy, but the fence is 3-4' tall, so you can't see the ocean from the lean-back beach chairs.

Pros Kitchen stocked, comfy bed, excellent communication, toys, pack and play, strap on high chair, extra towels, ample storage, laundry room nearby, hear the waves crashing, very helpful and informative check in information, gardens very beautiful, convenient location, pool towels provided, parking spot in front of condo, pictures match what it’s like inside, good WiFi, ac in living room works great, ceiling fans in every room, turtles swim out front, pool quiet, extra towels and sheets if needed Cons 3 foot wall outside door it does block the view when lounging, can’t swim in front unless low tide with little kids but as an adult it’d be great to swim out there, sound insulation to the upstairs not great, deck over water closed, storage sheds on the property could use some maintenance these are more about the property it this condo as you can tell Good to know Have: crock pot, rice cooker, blender, toaster, tons of pots and pans, tons of flatware and serve ware, strap on booster, pack in play, box of toys, free standing fans, beach toys, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, some spices, dish soap, hand soap, laundry is $1.75 for light soil and $2.00 for medium, dryer is $1.25 a load, ice machine at pool Overall a wonderful experience they were even able to accommodate our check out request. We would not hesitate to book again and would highly recommend anyone to book here. Just do it now, look no further!;)

Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at Maui Sands. The owner was astonishingly responsive and helpful. The unit has a remarkable view, with turtles and all! There are good cheap eats, a grocery store and a convenience store within a few minutes walk. Lahaina Town is just down the road. Do bring quarters. The washers and dryers are in the common area and are pay per use.

Great time in Maui

Our 1st trip to Maui and we picked a great place to stay. Perfect weather and the accommodations were very clean and comfortable...nice towels and bed linens and full compliment of kitchen appliances. Hard to beat the ocean 10 feet from the back lanai!! We had a couple of minor problems (toaster died one morning) but Francesco had a new one delivered within a day or so...just substituted a bloody mary for the bagel one morning so no problemo!
