Private River-Front Oasis on the pristine, blue ribbon-rated for small-mouth bass fishing, Kings River near Huntsville, AR. Your private retreat is located 1/2 mile downstream from the Marshall Ford Access and includes your own private sand/gravel bar and a gently sloping private access to one of the most scenic and pristine areas of the Kings River.

Your secluded getaway includes 7.5 acres fenced for horses*, large dog kennel for outside pets, a covered carport with an RV hook-up for electric and water, miles of dirt roads for 4-wheelin' or horseback riding and is located less than 5 miles from Madison County’s McIlroy WMA with its 14,536 acres of public hiking and Equestrian trails.

Enjoy fishing on one of Arkansas' premiere, blue-ribbon designated, Smallmouth Bass Streams. Canoe located on site for your use or bring your own. Located only 20 miles south of Eureka Springs, AR, 29 miles East of War Eagle Mills, 35 miles east of Fayetteville, AR and 30 miles west of the Buffalo National River, and with all but ½ mile of paved drive, all of the best of the Ozarks is just minutes away.

This well Appointed Cabin has an Open Floor Plan, fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, full size appliances, and a washer and dryer for your use. The living/dining area has a wood burning stove in addition to Central Heat/Air (wood provided) and a 50” flat screen TV with Dish Network for Sunday ballgames.

The master bedroom and loft also have 50” flat-screen TV’s with Dish Network, with the Master bedroom boasting a King-size bed, private bath and private access to the deck and hot tub, while the loft’s two Full-size beds, TV and sitting area provide the perfect place for the kids. The other two guest bedrooms are located downstairs with each having a Queen-size bed, one having a pillow-top mattress and the other having a 14” memory foam mattress, so that a good night’s rest will never be an issue.

With its modern kitchen and living area, three 50” flat screen TV’s, three bedrooms and a loft (5 beds total) with clean linens on hand, 2 full baths, washer, dryer, numerous board games and a canoe provided, along with a wrap-around deck overlooking the riverbank with a hot tub, charcoal/gas combo grill, 2 picnic tables, chairs, 2 chaise recliners, along with a hammock just waiting on you and a lazy afternoon, your secluded piece of paradise awaits you.

Slice of Paradise

We were continually/pleasantly surprised. Clean house. Great layout. Beautiful outdoorsy setting, and so so much more. Comfortable rooms for the 5 adults in our party, and the much loved Loft was perfect fot the teenagers. We spent some of our time in Eureka Springs, but would have been perfectly content never leaving the premises. We hope to do it again!

So peaceful.

I absolutely loved this house. We went here to relax for a few days and it was perfect. Loved the fire pit with the swings, perfect for s’mores. Fed the little horses apples and carrots every day. They were fun to watch and interact with. We took our bulldog with us and she played in the creek and had a blast. It rained while we were there which was perfect for us. Loved the sound of the rain on the metal roof. I slept like a rock which was much needed. Kitchen is well equipped, we ate every meal there and loved having the grill. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

What a great place!

As our yearly family get together, this place was fantastic! We had a blast. Mike was very responsive with his texts and so helpful. He truly went above and beyond and we so appreciated it! As for the place itself. Kitchen was VERY well stocked. Sometimes it is interesting to see if there will be any baking dishes or frying pans in some of the places. This kitchen was VERY stocked.Lots of games and a big smores fire pit we enjoyed every evening. The horses were so funny and the river was a short walk away. Thank You Mike and family for allowing us to stay at your beautiful house!!

Fantastic getaway spot!

Our stay was fantastic! The house surpassed expectations - spacious, exceptionally clean, and beautifully decorated. Set in a rural area with a river and mini-horses, the location was perfect for tranquility and adventure. Winter week

The cabin is really nice, enjoyed our stay despite the poor January weather! Stayed here because my mother lives nearby and we visited from out of state. My 4 grandchildren (1-7 years old) absolutely loved being able to play outside. The ponies, neighbors dogs, swings. Homeowner is responsive and friendly when called about the need for a working coffee pot. This is a nice spot for an authentic backwoods Arkansas experience!

Family Thanksgiving Getaway

We met up with extended family for Thanksgiving and everyone had a great time. The house accommodated the ten people plus our family dog comfortably. The property was outstanding, nice and secluded. We were able to let our dog roam freely without intruding on neighbors. And one neighbor up the road had a couple of friendly dogs who would come and visit. Our dog had a blast socializing with them. (On a side note, if you prefer not to have the neighbor dogs visiting, our host, Mike, said he would have the neighbors secure their dogs, but we enjoyed their company so no request was necessary) The kids enjoyed spending time at the river, but we did not utilize the provided kayaks since it was cold. There were two miniature horses who the kids enjoyed feeding apples and carrots to. One day, we rode up to Eureka Springs (20 minutes) and visited the Crescent Hotel and toured the rest of the town. Another day, we drove down to Lost Valley Trail (45 minutes) and hiked and explored the caves there. Overall, this property provided my family and I with an enjoyable Thanksgiving that we remember for years to come.

Remarkable

I don't even know where to begin to describe this amazing property! I take my daughter's on a surprise destination girls trip every year and they agree this was a definite home run! It is beautifully secluded and tranquil. Surrounded by huge trees it's like you're in your own personal paradise! Greeted by the adorable and friendly ponies patiently waiting for treats and pets! The river at the edge of the property is serene with breathtaking views! I can't say enough about this property. The only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer, we were all sad when we had to leave.

Very private and remote

Overall, my husband and I loved the house itself and he so enjoyed the horses. We loved that both bathrooms had walk-in showers and that the master had dark curtains so we could sleep late. I brought a lot of my own items so I was able to make the kitchen work for me when I cooked. I know that cleanliness is relative so I won’t comment about it. Definitely recommend for a peaceful retreat.

A great property, lots of things to do, we hardly left. Comfortable primary bed, good a/c. Bring bug spray. Walkable access to the river, in a deep spot. We enjoyed our inflatable kayaks, but there are several kayaks, floats, life jackets and even a nice canoe on site. The horses are adorable, the circle of swinging benches was a great place to see the Persied meteor shower. We've never seen so many shooting stars.

Awesome secluded getaway

This property had everything we needed for our huge family! We took a large family with children from 11-18. There was something for everyone to enjoy, and everyone had a blast! There is a beautiful fire pit area, river access, hot tub, and beautiful horses to watch while you sit on the deck. The owner was absolutely amazing! Super friendly and made sure we had everything and anything we needed. The house was super clean! Would highly recommend, and we hope to return soon!

Fun family vacation

This house was perfect and the pictures truly don't do it justice. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. The river access was amazing and great for our kids to splash and swim. I'd love to visit in the fall when the nights are cold so we can enjoy the firepit more.

Great location for a relaxing family get away!

This property was fantastic. It had everything you would want for a weekend getaway. The river was walking distance from the house, they had canoe's, kayaks, and inflatable pool rings, plus life jackets if you forgot to bring your own. The horses in the pasture were a nice treat for the kids to feed carrots and apples to, which they really enjoyed. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great Rental and perfect setting - Loved it all!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! It is very spacious and well equipped. The property and the outdoor amenities were beautiful and we made use of them all. The horses were so sweet and enjoyed the apples and carrots we brought. The firepit with the swings was a surprise and perfect for our nightly smores. It was still warm but with the river there to cool off in, it was great way to end the day. The river is a little walk and we brought a side by side to help get my 83 yo mother down to the water as well as the items we needed to hang out at the river for the day. Mike was very responsive to all inquiries and helpful when needed. The rock painting is a great idea and we had fun doing it, thanks for providing the supplies. Lastly, thank you for allowing pets. Having Sam, our dog, with us made this a perfect vacation to celebrate my husbands 50th!

The river was beautiful even with low water level. The beds were very comfortable. Loved feeding the horses. The fire pit and the back porch is where we spent the most time. The host was easily reached and friendly!!

We truly rested and relaxed.

The beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked, and the property was gorgeous. Even my 91 year old grandmother was able to make it down to the river one day to enjoy the views. The temperature was much cooler on the deck and in the valley than Texas, so that was a pleasant surprise. I really appreciated the floaties, kayaks, and fishing pole they had on hand, too.
