Charming 2-Bedroom House close to Enloe and Chico State

This is a really nice 1940 house that has undergone a full bathroom and kitchen remodel with new mini-split heat and air. It is perfect for anybody that needs a comfortable and quiet place to stay in Chico. It is only a few houses away from the hospital and close to Chico State and downtown.

There is an outdoor sitting area with charcoal BBQ grill.

The driveway is long and can accommodate multiple cars.

The living room has a large TV with Apple TV, soundbar / subwoofer.

The dining room has a small foldable table that can seat 4 as well as a weight bench with a large selection of dumbbells.

There is a large modern washer and dryer for your use.

There is also a second 2 bedroom house on the same lot that is completely separate from this property that is also available for rent. This could be a great option if you are looking to book a second property with friends or family close by but still want your privacy. The two backyards are connected by a gate.

Chris’ house was perfect for our long weekend stay. Great location in a quiet walkable neighborhood close to downtown. Very clean, fresh, nice decor, linens etc and room to spread out. We’ll be back.

A place to heal

I was in a sad state of mind. After selling my home so to be able to relax and think things through was just what I needed, and this beautiful little house hugged me tight and said relax your safe. I loved being there, it did have challenges, I'm very short and on a walker, but it showed me I can do anything that I want to concur, like stepping into the deepest tub I've ever stepped into. I couldn't reach most of the cupboards but I still had all I needed. Thank you for letting me have faith in myself again.

We felt this was adequate

We thought we were going the home to ourselves. But the host left clothing items and in one room the closet was locked. Otherwise everything was fine except the tub shower was slippery. Grab bars would be better.

Charming cottage

Perfectly located to Chico State in a very cute neighborhood. Walking distance from restaurants and entertainment. AC units in every room kept the house nice and cool. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our visit to family

Cheerful and safe neighborhood. Near to, but sheltered from, the main boulevard called Esplanade. Enloe Hospital nearby provides a walking-distance coffee shop and small public garden and playground. Also in easy walking distance, is a convenience store on Warner and a restaurant on Esplanade. Decor has a masculine feel, not a lot of breakable curios. Host was in touch but discrete. I'd happily stay there again.

One of the best in CA

Had an awesome stay at this house with Friends for New Years. This property is one of the best in the State. The owner responds fast and is easy to deal with. The place was so clean, and includes literally everything you need to have a stress free stay for any vacation. Can’t say enough good things about this property and that’s no bs! Awesome place! Highly recommend to anyone. Look forward to visiting this property again and the lovely town of Chico.
