Peaceful Stay
I enjoyed a peaceful stay at this property. My wife and I enjoyed waking up to the sounds of chirping birds, leaves bristling in the wind, the sights of beautiful livestock and, nature. The host was always available via text and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to get away from the hustle of a major city or life. You have everything you need.

Lovely getaway
The tiny house was located on a beautiful piece of property. We saw all kinds of wildlife and enjoyed the beautiful views. The bed was super comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook our meals and enjoy the view by the outdoor fire.

Peaceful
This property was private and peaceful. The land was well kept and there are several nice areas to sit in the stillness, read a book, or watch the farm animals graze. We loved the tiny home. It was the perfect place to settle in alone for the weekend!

Unbelievable!
What a great find this place is! It's a 'tiny house" with the perfect amount of space for 2 people and 1 dog. And it's truly a beautiful place: very secluded and tranquil, with lots of windows, comfortable seating, LOVELY bed (slept like a baby!), a washer & dryer, full size fridge, everything we needed for our week-long stay. Okay, saving the best for last...there is a deck area with a TV, outdoor sofa, a little table for 2, and...wait for it...A REAL FIREPLACE! Oh my goodness! Talk about AWESOME! We spent the majority of our time on the deck (covered and partially enclosed)! My husband fished in the small pond, just steps from the house, and Jasper (pup) and I snuggled on the sofa with a good book. We had a couple of real pretty days, plus some cloudy and/or rainy days. It would be cool in the mornings and nights, warmer during the day - the weather simply did not matter. That's how great Little Lucky Star is! Michael, who lives on this "working ranch," was wonderful, especially in telling us the history of his property, the animals, etc. I found it absolutely hilarious that when a friend suggested to him that he "rent this place out," Michael's answer was, "Well, who in the world would ever want to come out HERE?" Oh, just EVERYBODY!

Absolutely perfect
We chose to stay here for a weekend of relaxation, away from the world and we got just that!! The property is amazing and allowed us to go for walks, hang out by the pond, or just read about the history of the land. We especially loved the covered patio as we were able to watch a movie outside during a thunderstorm without a drop of rain coming near us! We highly recommend staying here for a getaway!!

Minor issues, but not critical to our stay.
The property is as described online; our personal perspectives of the size prior to arrival were not accurate--it is a tiny home. The outdoor amenities are very nice as long as you have the weather to enjoy them. Be sure to ask for directions about how to access the advertised game room. While we didn't need to use it, we could not locate the game room or access instructions in any of the printed material we received or that was available on site. The location is very peaceful and secluded, which is what we wanted. We might have used the paddle boat, but it was full of water and pinned beneath a fallen tree. We enjoyed our stay here; the minor issues described above did not impact our experience in any significant way. We only mention these items so that others might inquire about them, if they are significant elements related to a potential stay. We know you will find the management very responsive to any questions.

Lovely Short Getaway
My husband. Out dog and I found this gem for a short trip away from home. A beautiful, quiet little hideaway with modern amenities and peaceful scenery. We had to leave earlier than expected and Michael, our host, was wonderful about the situation. We will visit again!

Little slice of heaven
Little lucky star was everything I had hoped for and more. Even before I arrived, I received additional information about the property. Michael also reached out before my arrival to make sure I was set and ensure everything was going to be perfect. And it was! The gravel drive was accessible with a regular car even though it had rained several inches the day before. The tiny house was cozy, well laid out and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I am super fussy. The kitchen didn’t have an oven or dishwasher but who wants to do that on vacation! I was celebrating my birthday and Michael had arranged very festive decoration and a very sweet cake in the fridge (right next to the fresh eggs). So thoughtful! The porch was amazing and I spent most of the time enjoying watching the cows graze and travel to and from the pond. The two-month old baby cow was the cutest. There were plenty of duraflame logs to enjoy. I am so thankful that dogs are allowed because my two had a wonderful vacation too. I was able to use a dog gate on the porch so they could hang out easily. Lucky Star is a hidden gem and I’m so thankful to Micheal for sharing it! I hope to make visiting an annual tradition.

Absolutely fantastic!
This property was so peaceful and absolutely fantastic! It was exactly as described in the listing. It is a tiny home, but there is so much outdoor space that you feel like you have a ton of room. They have done such a lovely job with this home, truly thinking of everything. Plus, they were so kind to give us four farm fresh eggs from their farm on arrival, which were so yummy. This truly is a gem of a property and we will definitely be back!

Most peaceful place on earth!
I needed a well deserved reset and timeout and I couldn’t have chosen a better place…it’s absolutely gorgeous out here and so quiet and peaceful. Sitting by the pond drinking coffee or having a drink is the best. They are dog friendly and my two enjoyed every second of it! The tiny house is so perfect and has everything you’ll need. The scenery from the sunrises/sunsets to watching the cows and donkeys in the pasture were stunning. I will definitely be coming back!

Heaven on earth
If I could give this amazing place 15 stars I would. The view from every window of the cabin is beautiful. The donkeys were my favorite part. The littlest one is so cute jumping around and bucking! Word to the wise the fish are some worm thieves!!! We had lunch at Liefie in Winnsboro and coffee and backstage coffee! Both places were amazing. We did some shopping, also. We went to the Lake marina store and bought worms. It was a gorgeous drive. Mineola is also a cute town with tons of shops to go to. We enjoyed dinner at Wing Dingers, we got fudge and coffee from between friends, fried pies from mineola mercantile, and cheesecake from Bryan’s! We will be back again soon!!

Absolutely Amazing!
Wow!! This is truly a one of a kind place to stay. The size was perfect, the scenery was beautiful. We stayed there to go to Barnwell Mountain off-road park to do some jeeping. We go yearly and will be staying here from now on. Our dog would run and jump in the pond as soon as we got back. She loves the water. We used the paddle boat both nights, nice and relaxing (for my husband) I did all the pedaling. Michael was a great host and answered my questions promptly. We met Michael when we were leaving - had a great conversation about his place. Can't wait till next year!

Absolutely AMAZING!!
As we were driving into the entrance, it was getting more and more secluded - our own little piece of heaven!! As other guests have said, we can't say enough and how amazing this place is. This house by far is our most favorite place and we've stayed at a lot of vrbo/airbnb rentals - I would guess 20+. The house has way more amenities outside that what is posted. We met Michael as we were leaving and had a long conversation about all sorts of stuff and he mentioned that Evolve was coming to take pictures this week to update his page. Michael was extremely nice and accommodating and answered any questions quickly. There was a lit up welcome sign with our names welcoming to his place - very personable and added touch. He also left a few rolled up towels on the bed with 2 pieces of candy. Our dog absolutely loved jumping off the dock.into the large pond. We used the paddle boat each day, which was nice and relaxing. The view, anywhere on the property is amazing! Loved seeing the cows and donkeys roaming around and getting into pond to cool off. This is our place to stay from here on when we come back to go Jeepn at Barnwell Mountain Recreational Park - which we do 1-2 times a year. Thank you so much Michael for opening your doors for us to stay and having such a peaceful, relaxing stay.
