LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE

1. Invisible Agent did not respond to 9 phone calls. 2. Construction scaffolding blocked entire front of building. 3. Location next to Noodle Shop, mob of customers blocked doorway every day. 4. Street Noise made sleeping impossible in front bedroom. 5. Door Lock required both hands and significant effort to turn key to open door. 6. One bathroom for entire apartment located next to front door, 30 feet from either bedroom. 7. Electric outlets 8 of 20 did not work. 8. Front windows 2 of 4 would not close or open. 9. TV power cut off several times resuming after 30-40 minutes. 10. Internet slow, unavailable once for several hours. 11. Hallway Floors slope sideways 2-3 inches. 12. Light Bulbs missing in 6 lights. 13. Owner refused compensation, claims "Everything was as pictured". This is a SCAM. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.

Great Location

The location of this apartment is fantastic. You can easily walk to the right bank, Notre Dame, the Louvre and throughout St Germain and the left bank along with the proximity to the metro and the Seine. One issue with the apartment is that the listing states there are “two full baths” or even one bathroom with a “tub and toilet”. The bathrooms off the bedrooms do not have toilets there are just a sink and tub/shower. The ONE and only toilet is by the front door in a separate room. Maybe ok for a family unit of 4 but not ideal if two couples or 6 people, family or not. While the apartment was what was shown in the pictures, good size living room and dining room table, and the kitchen was well equipped, there were some mechanical issues with the doors and dishwasher that were fixed after we complained. We stayed for a month and would have liked a small dresser with drawers as there are only closets. The coffee maker needs to be replaced as it is old and in disrepair. Thankfully there was a Nespresso. The building facade is in the process of reconstruction which blocked and rendered the living room windows inoperable. Also, work started at 8:00am with hammering that was really annoying. Realize that this is temporary and out of the owners control but we should have been told! Lastly the Michelin star restaurant next door doesn't take reservations so there is always a crowd, day or night, constantly blocking the outside door to the apartment.
