Wonderful Beach Villa in Beautiful Palmetto Dunes

Immaculate condo in coveted Abbington, South Gate of Palmetto Dunes. Access to 2 ocean front pools, the 11 mile lagoon for kayaking, and of course the beach right across the street! This 3 bedroom, 3 bath comfortably sleeps 6.

Spacious living room / dining room beautifully done with hardwood floors and cathedral ceilings. Comfortable furniture with easy coastal design for gathering the family. A 65 inch TV and free wi-fi are provided. The sliding glass doors open to a nice deck with a table and chairs to enjoy relaxing by the lagoon.

Walking into the condo you'll feel immediately welcomed by the contemporary open floor plan. To your left is an inviting guest bedroom with a queen size bed, full closet, 42 inch TV and private bath with a tub and shower.

To the right of the foyer is a fully equipped kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances. Bring your k-cups for the Keurig coffee maker and your mixes for the blender! A full size washer and dryer are provided in the laundry closet conveniently located at the end of the kitchen.

Just off the living area you'll find the spacious master bedroom with a king size bed with brand new mattress and box springs summer 2017, furniture-built ins, a TV, and large window overlooking the lagoon. There's a private master bath with double vanities, a walk-in shower and full closet.

On the second floor is a loft bedroom with two twin size beds, a TV, private bath with double vanities and full closet.

Palmetto Dunes is a coveted 2000-acre oceanfront resort with 3 golf courses, 25 tennis and Pickle ball courts, 11 miles of lagoon and 3 miles of sandy beach. The bike path runs throughout the resort and under highway 278 to Shelter Cove Marina, shops, and restaurants.

Lovely and Spacious in Palmetto Dunes

Property itself is lovely, large and comfortably would hold 6 and up to 8 if ok with 4 sharing bedroom and bath. 7 minute walk to pool and beach. Canal patio perfect private relaxing space. Parking is additional per car, maybe it was in the listing but at extra 70 dollars for our 2 cars for less than a week, I was not expecting. If you need to do any work, video calls or streaming the wifi is not adequate. We did ok using our hot spots, but not ideal IF you can't completely unplug.Not locally managed. Seemed to be managed directly by owner and he was great but only so much that can be done from afar. We were unable to get into the unit on arrival, which was late. The codes for the pool/beach access must have been changed from what they had in the unit. Would definitely stay again now that I know several of the hiccups with not only the unit but Hilton Head in general.

Great Getaway!

Nice quiet location. Easy access to beach and pools! Everything is close by and the accommodations were perfect for what we wanted. Take a stroll on the beach to Coligny, canoe the lagoon, get what you need from the general store, or have a ton of options right outside the complex!

Perfect for us

We love Hilton Head and this condo was perfect for us. In a great location with all the amenities this well maintained and beautifully decorated unit had the best floor plan for our family. The upstairs bedroom worked out great for the kids and having a full bathroom up there was wonderful. We were comfortable and felt safe at the beginning of our stay when a tropical storm was a concern and as the weather cleared we enjoyed the beach and pool. The owner is quick to respond and seems invested in the experience of their guests.

Absolutely perfect!!

As a family, we’ve outgrown several of the previous rentals in palmetto dunes. This was perfect for us.. so glad I found it, and can’t wait to come back. The property had everything we needed and more . Location just a short walk to the beach and pools with a more secluded feel. Outstanding!! Thanks!

Family Vacation

We were extremely satisfied with this property. This was a family vacation with 6 adults and the space was perfect! The rooms were nice size and location could not have been better - close to beach and pools. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions….even helpful with restaurant recommendations. Will definitely return!

Perfect Family Vacation

The owner always got back with me promptly when I had any questions. The unit was very nice and comfortable. We love staying in Palmetto Dunes. There are lots of family activities to do close by (bike trails, pickleball, kayaking, and many more).

tenants vs. keyless entry

Everything about the unit was fine except utilizing the keyless system. There was an error in the directions as to which way to turn the Schlage. However the owner was readily available and patiently walked us through the steps. We did, however, decide to use the old fashioned way - actual keys - for which the owner provided the code. For the two of us, this process was just fine. FYI- We have successfullyt used keyless entries in the past,

Sweet property in Palmetto Dunes. Easy walk to beach. Patio on waterway is great for morning coffee and evening relaxation. Enjoyed watching anhinga sunning on the neighbors dock. Easy access to bike paths and kayaking. Beds are great. Kitchen is well equipped. Host responds quickly and is very helpful.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay in palmetto dunes. Larry’s place was in a really nice location. It was great sitting outside on the deck overlooking the lagoon. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Highly recommend.

Nice week getaway in HHI

The location and size of this house was perfect for our family vacation to Hilton Head. Beach is just a short walk and so are the pools. The plantation was very nice too, lots of trails and things to do. Definitely recommend it!

We would go again...

The ultimate sign of success is the willingness to go again. It is always hard to know from a website what a place is like and this one is no different. The location in Palmetto dunes is great, right next to a path that takes you on a wooded stroll or bike ride along the canal to golf courses, tennis courts, and restaurants. Access to the beach is across a small road and parking lot. Having access to pools in two complexes within walking distance is another benefit. Functional kitchen, three full bathrooms and reasonably comfortable furniture was a benefit for young adults. The back deck was a gem, very private, able to watch multiple birds and enjoy the nice weather. The location does have limited windows due to being an inside unit but the weather was so nice we spent much of our time outside anyway. Finally the hosts were very good at communicating, answering questions and making sure we were prepared. Oh and two parking spots was perfect. We loved it, thank you for offering your home to support our vacation.

Wonderful!!!

This property and owner are wonderful! The property was beautiful both inside and out. I am a stickler for clean and this was very clean! We brought our college age daughter and her friend with us, we had plenty of room. It is in a very quiet area and close walk to the beach and pool. The owner was very quick to respond to a question we had upon arrival and that made the property that much better! I would highly recommend and will use it again.
