Have stayed before 2years ago. Lovely house however disappointed spa bath not working. Great area for a quiet retreat and close access to ocean and bay beaches.
We enjoyed our holiday here. Comfortable home with easy walking distance to the shops and Bennetts Beach. Quiet neighbourhood. Modern bathrooms. Upstairs does get hot in February with no air con. Downstairs 2nd bedroom a little damp smelling but they do have air freshener around. We enjoyed the decking and dart board. Take note - this house is advertised as pet-friendly (though they have no fences as pointed out). But the owner's notice on the fridge says no animals allowed inside, only on the decking, so that was confusing. We found the kitchen a little grubby and in need of a deep clean, which I have mentioned to the managing agent.
Close to local shops (a good IGA and cafe), and a short walk to both Jimmy's beach (on Port Stephens, a bay) and the main 14.7 km long surf beach. Hotel/pub near the main surf beach does decent pizzas and has premium cold beers. What more can you want?
What a perfectly well equipped treehouse by the beach this home away from home turned out to be! Our family had just moved over interstate, and staying here while looking for a new rental took all the stress over moving away. Thanks for having us!
We had an amazing time at this property, there was so much to do for the kids, beach, walks, runs, sand dunes, dart board, ping pong, movies, reading, firepit with marshmallows, board games - it had it all.
We've booked out next trip.
