This was a great weekend getaway, check in was easy and everything was laid out for us once we got there. The hot tub was ready upon our arrival and had easy instructions to follow. Any questions we had during our stay were promptly answered.
Enjoyed the peace and quiet. The coziness of the fireplace and ambiance of the cabin. The hot tub was amazing, especially in the late winter! Definitely gonna try to go back.
Our stay at Kathy's cozy cabin was just the mid-winter getaway we needed! My friends and I enjoyed the warm fireplace, quiet snowy landscape, and excellent hot tub. Definitely planning on making this a recurring trip!
My two friends and I spent a couple of nights at this cozy cabin to celebrate my birthday. The hot tub was perfect for our "girl soup" night even if it was one of the coldest nights in January. The cabin was perfect for us and we completely enjoyed our time there. We had a great experience and recommend it!
The cabin was quaint & seasonally decorated which was a cute touch. Everything was well communicated and expectations/directions were clearly expressed. We enjoyed our relaxing stay very much.
We had a lovely time at the cabin despite some rain during our stay. The cabin is small and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace most nights and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. We visited the nearby state parks and even made it to the Hinckley Fire Museum. The cabin was just as it shows in the photos. It is off a busy road and one can hear vehicles most times when outside on the property, but traffic was definitely lighter into the evening hours which was nice.
Very cute cabin but not by anything too pretty to explore. TV reception could be better and firestarters would be helpful. The host was great and the cabin was decorated for the fall. Nice touch!
Very cute little cabin. Quiet but didn't feel too out of touch with the world!!! Loved the hot tub after a day of hiking. Also a nice walk to the Cloverdale Bar and Grill.
The landscaping was very nice. It was nice to have a river to hang out at. The space was nice and the beds very comfortable. It was nice to have a visit from a gray kitten while sitting around the fire.
This cabin is perfect for 2-4 people looking to relax and explore the Hinckley area. The cabin has all the amenities you need and the hot tub was awesome! Within walking distance of a very friendly lodge-style bar and grill. 10-min drive to Grand Casino. Kathy is a great host! I definitely recommend and would stay here again for sure.
The moment we opened the door and stepped in to see the fireplace, we knew we made a great choice! It was a very relaxing stay, very nice hot tub and just great quiet time. Kathy was quick to respond and even had to mail my husband's wedding ring back to him. The Bear Creek Tavern was great, and the candy shop was just cute! Thanks Kathy!
It was a nice little place to stay. There was a bit of noisy traffic and only a plastic spatula so I could not use it on the grill. Other than that, this place was really great.
It was peaceful and very clean. Plenty of things to do in the area to keep busy or just relax at the cabin . Perfect for 4 people. I would definitely go back.

This was an awesome little cabin with hot tub. Very quiet and comfortable.
Cozy cabin! Extra touches were nice. Location is a shared driveway. Vehicles went in and out. Also located on a somewhat busy road. The hot tub did not heat up the first night, but did the second. Overall a nice experience. Cute cabin with extras made the difference.
