Just what we needed for a long weekend in Echuca, plenty of space, good heating for the cooler evenings and a great front yard to sit in and watch the world go by while the dogs explore.
Quiet location but only a very short trip into the town centre with its pubs and historic port. The floorboards do have character, but no issues for us. Thanks for a great stay Janet.
This is a caricature filled property, in the middle of winter very surprising it was warm and kept the heat. Great for us and our small dog, even though there were lots of close homes it was very quiet. Our car was to big to go under the carport that’s wasn’t an issue for us.
We have family in Echuca and would definitely stay again.
Very clean and well presented. Split system is an absolute bonus. Great location with access to many restaurants and entertainment venues. Only suggestion would be to fix the wire on the front door as my dog escaped through it though thankfully got her back in quickly.
We recently spent a relaxing few days in Echuca with our two dogs. This cottage catered to all our needs. The dogs loved sniffing around the back yard and we enjoyed sitting on the front verandah in the afternoons enjoying the sun. Oh and I should mention the bath was lovely and the bed really comfy :)
Thanks Janet
We enjoyed our stay. Janet the host is absolutely lovely & very prompt with communication. Bonus that our 2 dogs & cat were welcomed to. We loved it here.
Photos don’t accurately reflect property.
Flooring in poor condition, splintering and gapping of floorboards, back sliding door difficult to open due to build up of dirt. No privacy in backyard due to small fence. House sleeps four but only a small table and two chairs in backyard. Dog poo found in backyard from previous renters, otherwise noise well stocked.
My wife and I stayed with our 2 dogs who enjoyed the secure yard. On arrival we found the property appeared to be not cleaned and dusty and we had to request for a vacuum cleaner which we appreciated being dropped off the next day. There was also a couple of minor maintenance issues such as small gaps in the floorboards and a loose door handle in the bathroom. Would recommend for a short stay but maybe not a longer stay (we stayed for 5 nights)
Enjoyable ~ property cosy good location, lovely new towels very clean but a couple of recommendations - a roll of toilet paper & hand soap would have helped on arrival after a long drive also pegs. bath mat and tongs. However, the biggest recommendation is we found the gas was not turned on only after enduring a cold shower - this should have been on or at least instruction sheet left to let us know on arrival to turn it on and light pilot.
