About this property

Antique farm house set on 68 rustic acres which back up to the Cibolo Creek

Lantana Farms is located in Eastern Bexar County, about twenty minutes from downtown San Antonio. The homestead sits on 68 acres and along some of the most beautiful views of the Cibolo Creek in Texas. Guests have access to over 800 feet of flowing water where wildlife and nature abounds. Explore the natural tributaries of Cibolo Creek with towering pecans, elms, and cypress trees leading the way. Boulders in the river provide white rapids which is a must see.
The 2000 square foot home has been extensively renovated and remodeled. The new country kitchen is fully equipped including a microwave and Keurig coffee maker with plenty of counter and cabinet space. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with antique furniture. The master bedroom is decorated in early American décor while the second bedroom has more of a French motif. Relax on a authentic English pub sofa or wood-carved chairs while admiring hanging tapestry. The house is filled with variety of antique knick knacks such as oil lamps, lanterns, hand sewn quilts, and mechanical clocks.
Updated bathrooms take a more modern approach to living with separate shower and tub in the master bath. The master bedroom has a queen size bed; the second bedroom has both a queen and set of twin beds. One of the two living areas has a pull out queen sofa bed.
LANTANA FARMS Is conveniently located between San Antonio and New Braunfels so that you can enjoy a visit to either city without a long drive. It is within a mile of the Cibolo Ranch Venue.

What a wonderful location. Out in the country, peaceful and very relaxing. Walking to the creek enjoying the scenery. The interior decoration with antiques really added to the experience. Will definitely return.

My adult son and I stayed at your great home full of antiques while traveling in the area. For the eclipse and San Antonio. Everything was as expected and secure and secluded hopefully we’ll return one day. Thank you Debra

Great stay and amazing house!
Staying at this location was like walking back into the past! It was a lovely home with cool antiques and the property was big. We had everything we needed and had no problems with our stay, the host was very nice and welcoming to our stay and stayed in touch throughout the whole trip! I highly recommend if you wanna get away from the city!

Great home
We enjoyed our stay here.. the house is very unique and neat and we loved how it was so peaceful there. The only complaint that I have is that the house was hot when we got there, but it ended up getting cool after a couple hours. Overall, we enjoyed it here.

Very peaceful, great get away for my teammates!
The property owner was very attentive. My teammates loved the historical items. I am a history buff, so I enjoyed them as well. We did have critters, we are in the country, lol. The owner is in the process remedying that situation. Overall, the stay was pleasant and I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Needs sopme work
My opinion is when you have guest coming you would have the house ready. AC had not been turned on and it was so very hot inside and the house stunk, had to open the doors to let it air out and to help get the heat out. There were a lot of cob webs through out the house around base boards and furniture. Needed a good cleaning and that night when were were going to bed the roaches came out!

Rough from the start.
From the beginning our stay was rough. The owner hadn’t messaged us the address or details of checking in and we waited until the day before we were to go to give him time. Finally we messaged him and asked him to please let us know. Then we asked what time check-in was to confirm and he asked if we could wait an hour later so they had time to clean from previous guests. We said no problem and left later to accommodate this. We were even later than expected. He messaged us later and told us that due to the quick turn over he didn’t get a chance to finish the laundry and if we could please fold the laundry in the dryer and put stuff from washer to dryer. No problem, but we were coming way later than he asked, so a bit confused why it wasn’t done? Once we got there, it was a beautiful place, and great, relaxing location. Beautiful house and decor. However, once we started settling in, we noticed how dirty things were, especially the kitchen. I swept and had a pile from it. I also cleaned the counters and there were bread crumbs and coffee grinds all by the appliances. The stove was greasy and filthy. I took pictures of all the Lysol wipes I used. It was very dusty around all the antiques and lamps. Our second night there, one of the beds fell through the frame. He explained he tried to fix it from previous guests. He never bothered to check back in with us to see if the bed broke again or how we were doing the next day. Early the next day it fell again, and realized, the frame was actually broke and the patching didn’t hold. My husband tried all day to get a hold of him and he never returned our messages. When he finally did, he only said sorry. No offer of compensation whatsoever! Very disappointed and confused with this stay after reading all the good reviews.

Relaxing stay
Although it was extremely hot that particular weekend and the creek was low, it was still very relaxing and the location is very private and secluded, which is what myself and my family were looking for due to certain pandemic issues. If you appreciate eclectic as opposed to modern amenities this is the place. Overall we enjoyed the peacefulness and relaxation this place had to offer.

Magical Oasis
This beautiful property enhanced our family connection. We all enjoyed every moment from the fire by the flowing creek to watching the stars and bright moon above. We had such a great time playing games and cooking meals together in a well equipped family style kitchen. All the very special antiques each gave their unique story as we browsed through out the home. Such a wonderful getaway. Many blessings came from your beautiful home.Thank you for sharing it with us🙏

Creek side Paradise
We had an amazing couples weekend! This house is on a beautiful farm where you will get to enjoy breath-taking sunsets. Our favorite part was taking our chairs to sit in the creek, sitting in the living room drinking our coffee and grilling while enjoying the Texas scenery. If you want to spend time away from the hustle and bustle... this is the place for you!

Heavenly weekend
This beautiful property was just perfect for our Valentine's weekend trip to the tulip farm in LaVernia. The property is located about 10 minutes away from the Texas Tulip Farm and provided my family with a wonderful stay. The hike down to the creek was also very nice. The furnishings and decor in the house is absolutely beautiful and the owners are very nice and accommodating. The house has all the linens and dishes you might need as well as coffee pods for the Kuereg. We will definitely be staying here again!
