Highly advise you stay away!

We stayed at this home Charlotte for a weekend and a concert, which was canceled. Despite this, the host was unwilling to shift the dates, so we decided to make the most of our time in the Queen City. The only positive aspect of this property was its location, minutes from downtown Charlotte. The host accommodated an early check-in, but the property was filthy and in poor shape, and our complaints were not addressed. The floors were wavy like an ocean as another review suggested with holes covered by rugs and duct tape. The wood was rotting, and there was a large grate in the living room, exposing the crawl space below making you think you would fall through. The walls, floorboards, and other aspects of the house were in desperate need of renovation. There was a hole in the ceiling and a cracked window which made us feel unsecure. The trashcan wouldn't work/open, fridge shelving was flimsy, and a dining room chair was cracked. The outdoor furniture was beat-up and unusable. The home needed a deep cleaning. There were stains on couches and rugs, and the last load of laundry was left in the washer. Under a bed we found dirt, dust, and old food wrappers. The bathroom tub was dirty with stains, and the shower window provided no privacy and could be seen from the street. For the price, I suggest finding another property. This one was no better than a trucker motel off the highway. We were very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this property to others.

Property needs massive repairs.

The floors are as wavy as the Atlantic Ocean. This is a great place if you find joy in red flashing lights and fire truck sirens, fire department across the street. No hot tub unlike the listing states. Random guys will come by and drop off stuff in the rear of the house while waving at you because they are staring in the windows. There is only glassware in the house along with a glass table and other easily reached breakable objects making it not really child friendly. The beds are worn out and very uncomfortable and some broken. The place was left dirty with mold around the tub and urine on the floor around the toilet. Owner stated “why can’t I just be happy with the stay” and is very insulting and will not listen to the renter. The rain gutters leak on to the front patio denying you from really enjoying morning coffee. Don’t forget to clean the coffee maker because when we go there it was moldy from the old coffee left in it… Owner claimed it was immaculately cleaned… I would never rent this total let down of a property. The house needs major repairs to the flooring. Oh and don’t forget the basement window that’s is out and broken allowing animals to come inside. Better stay away from this one till it gets fixed…

Excellent Location

We booked this house for a weekend stay close to uptown. This property exceeded our expectations with the super convenient location. The neighborhood is spewing with historic charm and the home retains a lot of its original charm with all the necessary upgrades. The property manager was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be back to this house on my next trip to Charlotte.

Easter weekend in historic Charlotte

We loved this adorable little bungalow conveniently located in historic area of Charlotte. House is two blocks from greenway and three blocks from a great dog park. Dan was an excellent host. He met us at the property and recommended several restaurants and dog friendly breweries. We will definitely be back.

phenomenal

This home, along with the neighborhood is awesome.. I felt as if i was home, and that I knew all the people around me. Safe, Beautiful place to be.. The next door neighbor that lived on the other property that's not attached to the Unit wasn't too social but that was fine because not all people are friendly individuals. lol This home is great and i hope the next time I'm in Charlotte, NC that i can get this location..
