Shop around before committing

Excellent location for excursions in the region. Staff are friendly. These bungalows should not be listed on VRBO, there is no guarantee you will get what is pictured. We found the facility run down, beds were worn thin and uncomfortable. For the money I’d check around at other options first.

Will Stay Here Again

We stayed in the cabanas, so I cannot speak for the hotel portion. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good, especially the breakfast. Wonderful view of San Ignacio and the Mopan valley.

Only bad review I’ve given on VRBO

Only good thing about this property is that it’s close to Mayan ruins. Nothing was peaceful about our stay. Two nights in a row there were loud parties at the resort pool. The first night it went until 2:30AM and the pool is supposed to close at 10PM, we tried to find night security but they were nowhere to be found. Complained to the front desk next morning and were assured there would be no more parties. Next night was same thing but we did find a security guard this time and he did make them return to their rooms at 12:30AM. Our room was also right next to the restaurant which would start making noise and food around 6-7AM so between the late night parties and early morning breakfast we got little sleep. The staff was very unhelpful and I would NOT recommend this property to anyone I know. Cool town though, I would go back to the area just wouldn’t stay here.

Great location!

We spent 4 days in one of the cabanas and had a wonderful time! We walked to the Cahal Pech ruins, the day we arrived and it was beautiful. The next day we called a cab to go to the Xunantunich ruins, breathtaking!!!!. Gusman was our driver. He was amazing. Make sure the front desk calls him if you are taking a cab! He's the best! He hooked us up with Cave Man Dave, who took us on a cave tour by canoe! I highly recommend that as well. The resort is amazing! Don't think twice! Do it!!!

Safe and Convenient

Great view, comfy beds, safe spot and convenient location. Walking distance to town. Don't expect corporate hotel like amenities but you wont get that anywhere in Belize... hopefully it stays that way! :)
