Ben has a fantastic house and is wonderful host that communicates incredibly well. We had a wonderful weekend. This is the second time renting Ben's house and we highly recommend it.
You can always tell a rental that the owners actually use - it’s comfortable and well-appointed and everything works. This is one of those! The kitchen is fabulous, the bedrooms and bathrooms are comfy and in good shape, and the common areas are laid out well for a group. On top of all that, the location is excellent for any kind of river activities - minutes from several different outfitters and close to swimming spots. The nearby grocery store is adequate, but my advice is to bring in your own groceries if you can. The local wine shop, on the other hand, is tiny but beautifully curated! We didn’t get a chance to hit the farmers market but it’s right across the street if you’re there on Saturday morning. Thanks, Ben!
We had a wonderful time and would return to this house again. Ben responded quickly to one question I had after checking in. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are divine and we all had a relaxing wonderful time. I also recommend the Inn next door for a quick bite to eat and drink.
We loved the house. It was very charming and tidy with lots of room for us - 4 adults and 2 kids. Wifi worked great but none of us had cell service and some couldn't sort out the wifi calling. of course that is because of the area and has nothing to do with the wonderful house, so i only mention as a tip to sort out with your phone carrier in advance. The area is beautiful and the house is charming- we had a great visit.
We had the best weekend at Ben’s place! The house is so beautifully curated and fully equipped! Loved the decor and high end kitchenware. Back patio was a dream! We saw deer and got to relax under the fairy lights. BBQ was large enough to cook for 8 people seamlessly.. Enough room for all to sit around outside dinner table in the summer.. Ben was attentive and answered all my questions. Provided extra towels for outdoor activities. Cannot recommend enough!
Ben is a great host who was very accommodating! The house was perfect for a family get away and right near the river and nice restaurants. It has a great backyard and nice patio. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked. TV was great with Netflix Apple TV Hulu and HBO Max. Would gladly stay again!
