An extraordinary find
What a beautiful place! Located in the small town of Franklin with beautiful views of the river. Although it is located on the main road, it is beautifully quiet. It is just a short walk to the Wooden Boat Centre which is a definite must see. The kitchen is excellent with an induction cooktop and built in combined Concection / Microwave oven. The host has kindly left the owners manuals so that you can use the appliances.The host even left a welcome present for us. Would I stay there again, In a heartbeat!

Sweet Getaway
Warm for Winter. Getaway with super heating, electric blanket, plenty of throws and soft pillows. Fantastic picture window to enjoy the movements of life. Excellent home base for travel around Huon and Channel area. Husband and I had a great time visiting.

Great location, very central to exploring Sth of Hobart. Great river view and access. Well resourced but no traditional oven in the kitchen. However walking distance to good cafes and restaurants.

Amazing, very impressive little place. So many extra touches on our arrival that we really noticed. Fresh cut flowers from the garden on the window sill, welcome note, plenty of brochures, maps, etc for the area and beyond, instructions for all appliances. You name it, it was covered. Relaxing haven for husband I to recharge and laze around the accommodation. Enjoyed the cozy holiday house feel with coffees, reading material, lunches in front of the picture window. Comfortable bed and bedding and large warm shower. A sweet getaway for two

We loved the Funky Flat
Everything was great - well situated, clean, comfortable, easy and pleasant. Loved the goodies as well. Only issue, and this is most certainly not the fault of the owner, was the hooning right outside the property each night. On Sunday night we were awoken 3 times, the last being at 2:30 am. It is unfortunate that these inconsiderate people spoil it for everyone. I sincerely hope that this was an once-off issue. Regards Gavin and Hermie
