We stayed in the house for 5 nights in late June. The location is very good. Just 3-4 miles from Southampton centre. The house is clean, though made for renting only. You get the sense that it wasn’t constructed to please an owner who planned to stay there sometimes … just for renters and summer breakers. Thin walls, light doors, unfinished basement, perfunctory bedding. The kitchen and bathrooms were both clean with high quality fixtures. Spacious well lit commons rooms. Even a nice exercise bike upstairs. However, the pool area is tired, sad and unattractive. It doesn’t really look like the photo. I don’t know how many years old it is (a lot), but the pool tiling is faded. The pool area is under developed. You get the sense looking at the pools on either side of the property that the pool maintenance and development for this property is the exception compared with the other homes on the street. (No propane in the grill, also in need of an upgrade, was also an inconvenience.) In the end, the house served our needs, but at the price point paid, the pool area should have been nicer.
