About this property
Banyan Camp Wine Lodge Eco Retreat on Full Board Basis
ACCOMMODATION IS ON FULL BOARD BASIS.
Discovered by a passionate nature enthusiast who stumbled upon the property at the height of the Sri Lankan Civil War and was inspired to put together an eco-friendly nook, which offers a slice of unperturbed nature in spite of the chaos around. Today, it offers its peace to the traveler looking to escape the chaos of city life.
Located within close proximity to the Udawalawe National Park, Banyan Camp offers a wide choice of experiences whether you wish to indulge in its rustic setting or step out into the wilderness. Its location gives easy accessibility to Udawalawe, Yala National Park, Ella Gap, Sinharaja & Arugam Bay.
Banyan Camp, comprises of three unique units, set on the banks of the Hambegamuwa Lake in the midst of a lush wild garden.
The Wine Lodge is our first bottle walled structure, built using Champagne and Wine bottles, the first of it's kind in the island. With two bedrooms and an en suite with shower and toilet, ideal for couples and families.
Oil lamps, lanterns and solar bulbs provide a warm glow to the Camp instead of electricity with solar power to recharge phones and cameras. Providing accommodation on full board basis, the staff of Banyan Camp is geared to offer unobtrusive assistance in preparation of food, setting up a bonfire and carrying out housekeeping functions that offer you creature comforts that preserve the luxury of being on holiday.
If calendar shows full. Please write to us to check availability as we have 3 units.
