Everything was absolutely wonderful.
Dad enjoyed his 80th Birthday Celebration.
From the moment we walked in the house until we walked out….. he wouldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the house is. He definitely enjoyed the back yard area and patio. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get it again in March when we return.
Ps…… tighten the oven
My husband's family is from the west Bank and we visit for Mardi Gras every other year. Great home, easy access to all main roads and great neighborhood!
We walked into the home and were greeted to a fabulous smell. The spacious 2 story home was a great addition to our New Orleans adventure. Our beds were so comforting and being able to come back and relax after the tours and walking was excellent. I was hesitant about not getting a hotel room but when I vacation in New Orleans again I will definitely be getting a vacation rental again 😁
Pots and pans in very poor conditions; not usable. Some coffee cups cracked and not usable.
Overall experience was good. I would select this property again. I do recommend them purchasing a cheap pots/pans set and coffee cups,

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Just Say No - Keep Scrolling
Negatives - Upstairs portion of the house needs seriously updated.
Lots of damage to property.
Bug problem we killed multiple bugs in bedrooms, kitchen, and dining room. We chose not to cook at house during our 8 day stay.
Master bed and one of the queen beds were broken and were propped up with boxes of flooring.
Twin Bedroom numerous bug traps in the closet that apparently aren't working. Adult female got numerous bug bites.
Dirty dishes in cupboard upon check in. Last renters' garbage in back yard.
Positive -Location is across bridge from French Quarter was an easy commute since we had a rental car.
House has 2 dining and 2 living room areas.
Nice washer and dryer.
Friendly neighbor.
Quick response from host when we initially reported damage to the home from past renter.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Good Location, house needs much TLC
Cons:
1. House needs several minor repairs including painting, Sheetrock work, removal of gross carpet, kitchen cabinets need a major cleaning, new toilets, etc
2. House really needs a SERIOUS deep cleaning. If you’re a clean freak, this is not the rental for you.
Pros:
1. Quiet neighborhood
2. Good location
3. Large house
4. Reasonably priced
5. Host was very responsive with my question.
Overall, I would not stay here again because I am a person who has very high standards when it comes to cleanliness and overall condition of rental.

Better than i thought!
The pictures of this house does it no justice. I was worried it would not be enough room for our party of 8. The pic of outside of the house didnt look too good. And several ppl kept telling me it was a bad neighborhood. Even the Uber drivers were like, did you know you chose a bad neighborhood. WELL.... it turned out to be so much better than i expected. The house is so roomy and so well decorated. The bed in the king room was so amazing that i came home then contacted landlord for the name so i could order one for myself. The foundation and bathrooms are older but the house itself was very nice. The landlord was very responsive and personable. The neighborhood was quiet as a church mouse. The neighbors across the street were very friendly and seemed to watch out for things. We came for Essence festive, the location is a 13min ride into french quarter or stadium and conv. ctr. We found it cheaper to uber over bridge for $12 each way. There are restaurants, groceries, pharmacies within 4min drive. I was completely impressed with this home and landlord. If i decide to go back next yr, i will def stay here again. Only thing you will need, if you cook in house, is tupperware. We cooked everyday but didnt have storage containers for the fridge. Oh, and extra blankets. We were lazy on the couch, a lot, and there were only blankets on bed no extras. Other than that, the house was GREAT! Def better than i expected.
I was in town for a bodybuilding show, we intended to go out after to celebrate and the Lyft only took a few minutes it was so nice to be so close to Bourbon Street. There was more than enough room for me and my bodybuilding friends (that’s hard to come by) the vanity in the master was a perfect spot for me to get my glam on. They also have Netflix on the master TV which helped me relax the day before. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook my meals. My only complaint which is my own silly fault is that the dew makes the incline driveway slippery so be careful or you’ll hit your bottom like I did. 10/10 recommend
Stayed here with a few friends for the FSU vs LSU game. Plenty of room and only minutes from downtown. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for somewhere to stay in New Orleans.
Overall our stay was excellent. The house was very spacious for the 7 of us. Master bed was super comfy. The property manager was quick to respond to my messages. Nice neighborhood. We never felt unsafe. To the French Quarter it's about 15 minutes. The ferry is only 10 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again if I am back in New Orleans.
There were 21/2 baths not 3. The location was nice - neighbors were friendly. Comfy beds and nice blankets. The light in one room was not working and the commode upstairs wouldn’t flush properly
Enjoyable, clean, convenient - we would stay again!
Clean home to stay in, friendly neighborhood (we walked one evening), convenient to New Orleans sights and airport, shopping and groceries are just down the street. Beds were comfortable.
There were small things that need some attention such as back door screen wanted to fall out, many backyard chairs are broken, master bathroom sink faucet is loose, small things but thought worth mentioning. We would stay there again!
A nice sized house, A GREAT STAY, and excellent communication with the owners, about 18 minutes ? to downtown NOLA, maybe less depending on the traffic flow !

Just okay...
Overall a good stay. Communication with owner was great. Property was just not in the best shape, drywall damage on ceilings, dining room light wouldn't work, and the kids bunk bed was not sturdy. I also didn't like that there was a large security deposit if you didn't want to purchase insurance to cover any damages that may occur, that is refundable 2 and 1/2 weeks after your stay. I would not stay again. Other than that the internet was fast, tv's were great, plenty of games for the family to entertain themselves with.
