Bougainvilleas Bed and Breakfast

Relax and enjoy your holiday in this beautiful early 1900 renovated Federation house.You ll be on the first floor, 19 steps
You'll feel at ease in this" Home from home".
The leafy suburb of Fairlight is conveniently located. We are a 3 min walk to the City buses, 3 min walk to the free community bus that will take you to the heart of Manly. If you prefer, an easy walk will also get you there in 20min. State bus 144 on Sydney Rd, 1 block away.
There is no time restriction for parking in our street.
From Manly wharf, it is a scenic 30 min ferry ride across the Harbour to Sydney.
Manly swimming pool is also within 15 min walking distance, as are the free harbour and sea pools.
You will find great shopping in Manly, fine dining and casual restaurants, lots of fabulous coffee hangouts. You can also walk to Balgowlah for a meal.
MAXIMUM STAY 10 NIGHTS
A multitude of outdoor activities awaits you: amazing coastal and bush walks, kayaking, diving and snorkelling, beach volleyball, cycling and of course surfing @ Manly "s iconic break. There is 3 golf courses nearby.
Your double bedroom is upstairs, with it's own balcony, overlooking the lush garden. Your bathroom is next to your room. No one else upstairs.
A Continental breakfast is served in the bright dining room or on the covered deck.
Note, the kitchen isn't a common area. NO FOOD IN THE ROOM, PLEASE. If you want to have take away, I'll happily give you plates and cutlery and you can use the dining table downstairs.
There is a little fridge in your room for milk and water.
Fresh bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided. Check in between 2pm-8pm

A very good place to stay, but for room only!
Overall, a very good place to stay for a few nights. Excellent bathroom and shower facilities, very clean and quiet. The only downside for us was the breakfast. No alternative choice to very sweet muesli was offered and very small serving of toast/pastries and coffee - we bought breakfast out every morning in Manly.

Peaceful stay.
Martine was a wonderful host and the property was gorgeous. It was clean, well maintained and surrounded by lush, beautiful gardens. My husband and I had everything we needed for our stay and would happily recommend to others.

This B&B is a very nice place. The upper floor is yours (a big Bedroom with a balcony and a storage room) the modern bathroom is next to it.Martine made a delicious breakfast (Birchermüesli). The host are really nice peoples.

Peaceful retreat in Fairlight
You have the top floor to yourself. We were looking for a peaceful, relaxing break and we weren't disappointed, it was a great base. The owner is thoughtful and accomodating and she makes a lovely Swiss continental breakfast. We didn't use the backyard area but it is a lush, green space. There's on street parking but no need to drive once there, as the beaches and restaurants are a short walk away or there are regular buses. It is not a hotel, but that said, we had an enjoyable stay and would happily recommend it.

We absolutely loved this property. It is within a short walk of Balgowlah shops and Fairlight Beach, yet it is quiet and peaceful. Martine and Steve made us feel welcome and at home from the very beginning. We were served absolutely beautiful breakfasts each morning. The accommodation was bright, airy and a joy to spend time in. We especially liked the covered balcony. The bathroom has everything you need and more, and there is lots of space in the walk-in-robe. We could have our privacy when we wanted, and Martine and Steve were available whenever we needed anything. Thank you to Martine and Steve for making our stay so lovely!

I loved staying at Martine's and Steve's beautiful house. The location is great, not far from Manly, the amazing Manly to Spit walk and the ferry to the city. The room and bathroom were clean, warm and comfy. Martine is very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was yum. Hope to come back soon for more than 1 night - thanks for having me :-)

Came for the room and stayed for the breakfast.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boungainvilleas B & B. The hosts Martine and Steve were very welcoming to their beautiful home and gardens. The location is fantastic and easy to get about without a car. Public transport, both free and paid for, are available at both ends of the street. The breakfast was delicious and highlighted with homemade recipes. A definite highlight was a pick up and drop off at the ferry. Thank you Martine and Steve we will love to see you again next year.

Peaceful hideaway in Fairlight
Great property with everything you need for a no fuss stay. Impeccably clean property in a peaceful setting, well located close to a good selection of eateries and shops @ Balgowlah. Transport to both Manly (5 mins) and city within easy stroll. Owners are the most beautiful people who are happy to go beyond to help with anything. Excellent healthy breakfast and fresh coffee each morning. Nothing but good things to say about my 3 week stay here :-)

We loved staying at this gorgeous B&B. The room was tastefully decorated, clean and well maintained with plenty of space. The gardens are beautiful and so peaceful and relaxing. We spent 9 nights in this lovely home. The breakfasts were very good and everything was immaculately clean.The location couldn't have been more convenient as the 144 bus goes every 10 minutes from the top of the road.
