Property is located on 5 acres in farm country with outstanding views of the Blue Ridge and Massnutten Mountains.

The space is 900 sq feet studio basement apt. with your own entrance and patio. It is net zero , energy efficient, space with a sleeping, sitting, dinning and TV areas(direct TV and Chrome Cast).

The kitchenette is equipped with everything you might need - a mini fridge, microwave, convection toaster oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, crock pot, outside electric grill. Coffee and paper products supplied. Our well water is filtered and sanitized with UV light. No need to bring bottled water.

Daughter of the stars

It was a very hectic weekend for us. And though we did not get to see the stars, specifically the meteor shower, because it was cloudy. It was wonderful to be in such a quiet calm environment, after running all day. there were also very thoughtful snacks that added to the sense of calm. Although we did not get to meet our hosts, their thoughtfulness with our comings and goings was very much appreciated.

Amazing stay!

So happy my sister and I chose this as our place to stay for a few days. The property was gorgeous, with views of the surrounding mountains from afar. On clear nights we could see so many stars. Inside was very cozy and relaxing. Thank you to our hosts for being super friendly and also very helpful regarding the snow! Would love to come back again sometime.

Beautiful spot!

Although the weather was cloudy and sprinkly, it was a nice spot. Sally was very attentive. Great spot if you like wineries. Crosskeys is just around the corner!

Great star gazing

We loved our two day stay! Very spacious, clean and comfortable! The view of the mountains, sheep, and horses were an added bonus! Very close to shopping, restaurants, wineries and Harrisonburg!

Beautiful spot!

Swing open the door of the unit to find a beautiful, spotlessly clean, modern-style unit in a rural setting surrounded by mountains. Just fantastic! The owner’s attention to detail was top notch. My wife and I were in the area for a wedding, but we will be back for the hiking.

Terrific stay for a long weekend

I had a terrific stay at Sally's basement apartment property this Memorial Day Weekend. The property was clean, spacious and stocked with all the amenities we needed for a weekend stay of hiking, winery tours and historical excursions. Sally was very responsive to our questions and provided great recommendations to local spots for food and wine. Highly recommend!

Virginia Getaway

This property was special. 5 acre country lot on quiet road. Lower level studio apartment with private entrance. You will not be disappointed with with VRBO. We would definitely return!!

Beautiful property

Clean, beautiful. Just as described. Sally was a wonderful hostess. WiFi provided. Close to 3-4 wineries and 20 Minutes or so from JMU.

Little slice of heaven of 81

Relax outside and watch the horses next door graze in the field. Comfy bed and refreshing shower. Close to 81 and easy to find. This cute little spot is a great place to spend the night.

Private Lovely rural setting

With your own entrance and roomy daylight basement apt, free safe parking, lovely views, what else can you ask for? Super clean and a well furnished kitchen with a dishwasher. Broiler oven instead of a big stove/oven but fridge with freezer compartment and microwave served us very well. I did not realize the second payment was not automatic as it is on Air BnB, so our not checking our email often enough on the road almost messed us up. Huge thanks to our hosts for working it all out! Highly recommend!

Sally is an awesome hostess. The apartment is clean and beautiful.

We were looking for a safe place to stay while traveling during this pandemic. Not only did we feel comfortable with our stay but the view was also spectacular. We were surrounded by beautiful mountains and serene countrysides. Our host and hostess were wonderful. The apartment was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed and more for our overnight stay. We are grateful we found this spot and look forward to future stays during our travels.
