About this property
Kampoeng Bamboo w/Private Pool 50Mbps Internet
Let the lush of emerald bamboo groves lead you through the equatorial heat to your personal Balinese haven. This hidden jewel is a retreat like no other. Surrounded by nature and a tight knit Balinese neighborhood, the villa lets you enjoy a genuine Balinese daily life experience while also providing an intimate, and dreamy retreat for a couple or small family.
Built upon a strong foundation in Hindu believes, the villa is nested within groves of bamboo and banana trees. These natural barriers create a private space away from the public and help to bring the house closer to nature. You will encounter the wooden gate along the groves. Stop and relax or continue through the staircase to your personal paradise.
Through this gate, you will be greeted with plumeria, banana, and bamboo intertwined with different colors and texture wrapping around, complementing the gleaming clear water of the pool. These elements join in harmony to create a vibrant and colorful display of nature’s creations. Craft up your favorite recipe using the outdoor kitchen, fully equipped with all the tools you need for a romantic date night, cozy family dinner or a festive gathering. Then enjoys the meal while taking in this view at the long live edge table on the front porch of the home. Join your loved ones and share amazing memories completed with the delightful smells of the tropical air, the sounds of birds, moving water, leaves gently rustle in the wind.
The villa follows the vernacular architecture tradition of Balinese people that had been part of the island’s culture for centuries. Following these believes and culture, the house was conceived in harmony with nature and the surrounding elements. It is built entirely with local, organic materials found natively in Bali. Having been used as a boat building material for over 2000 years, teak possesses excellent qualities and was chosen as the primary building material for the home. Teak wood was used to build the foundation, structural beams, floor, wall, and many of the furniture. The building is then top with a Joglo roof, an iconic and complex Javanese architectural form, fitting for a leisure palace.
Upon entering the home, you will notice the lofty open space that allows for an uninterrupted flow of the whole retreat. Windows are placed extensively throughout the home at every corner, ushering in the warm sunlight and the calming, sweeping view of the surrounding nature. Natural light will flood the house throughout the day, complementing the white bed linen giving a restful tone to the home.
The open concept extends through the en-suite semi-outdoor bathrooms. Complemented with both a shower head and a porcelain white bathtub, you can enjoy the sound of water splashing and immerse in the tropical shower experience or enjoy the sound of surrounding nature in a relaxing bath.
A simple walk-in closet lay next to the bathroom that will provide you with ample space and help you take better care of your favorite items. Hampers can be found tucked neatly in the closet for neat and discreet storage of any dirty articles. Get a refreshing start to the day of adventure or a phenomenal night out in town.
Parking space inside the complex is located next to the villa with ample space for multiple cars and motorbikes. Get your favorite rides and explore the island!
