Nice and cozy place very close to nature. Under the open screen windows porch, you can relax after a busy day exploring lake, trails, woods or local attractions.
Great location. Cute, rustic “up north” cabin. Located in a quiet neighborhood. My daughter and I went on a fishing trip and the cabin was perfect for us ! Thank you Debbie. We will definitely be back !
It was our first time going up north, and it was amazing. Me and my family will definitely come back again for another trip. The cabin was nice and cozy, great communication with the property manager. It was fun and simple. I encourage others to rent this cabin!
This clean and cozy little cabin was perfect for our getaway. We had deer greeting us through the window in the morning while we had our coffee. It was only a few small blocks to beautiful Hubbard lake where we were able to put in our paddle boards. We would definitely come back.

We had an excellent stay with lots of R&R. The Host was excellent and had great communication. The cabin was lovely and decorated so quaint. We had campfires every night. We did two day trips to Alpena which was a nice 1/2 drive. We had dinner at the golf course and Smokey’s Restaurant. Both were positive choices.
We truly enjoyed our stay at this little cabin! A particular favorite was the screened in front porch where we were able to enjoy our morning coffee, a few meals, and play backgammon in the evenings, as well as view the natural wildlife. It is located in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. If you forget something, no worries, the cabin is well equipped with necessary amenities. Debbie is an excellent host, very nice, and is quick to respond to all inquiries! The weather was a challenge for our Lake Hubbard fishing excursions, but the water was still beautiful and we still caught some smallmouth bass so it was a successful vacation!

I stayed here for an extended weekend with my partner, daughter (6), and son (1). The cabin seems a little bigger and nicer than the pictures show. The neighborhood is very quiet with a nice view of the lake. Just a little noise from neighbors doing work outside, but nothing major. The kids got to see lots of animals and beautiful nature views. Not great phone service, so I would suggest mapping out your route to any activities if you are not familiar with the area. My only complaint is that you have to travel 15-30 min to get to a beach, park, or large grocery store. I assumed there would be lots of beach access in/on Hubbard Lake, but we couldn't find any. It seemed to be all private except for boat launch access. But if you don't mind driving 20 or 30 to the beach, it's no big deal. Overall great experience.
Excellent little property near the lake. Great and quiet neighborhood, with lots of privacy. Great for couples or a small group. Great restaurants, beach, and night sky viewing nearby. Host is kind and thoughtful. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for an up north getaway.
Cute little cabin! Even though it’s small, it still seemed spacious. The host was easy to get a hold of and very nice. Would definitely recommend this cabin!
A very quiet stay with a great screen porch. Comes with adorable black squirrels and chipmunks to watch play. A short walk to the lake with comfortable benches to sit and watch the sunset. Make sure you listen for the Loons. It was a pleasant drive to Lake Huron. Our favorite place was Negwegon State Park. You have to drive about 3 miles down a sand road. Our car, a toyota camry, did just fine on the day we went. Beautiful sand, no litter, very few people on a very long and wide beach. The water was very shallow for a long way out. Small waves. I want to bring my granddaughter.
