The place was clean, quiet and a nice view of the creek and wooded area. Deer were plentiful in the back. The host never contacted us, not even an introduction which we found odd. The bathrooms had two wash cloths and 3 towels, one hand towel. We stayed 3 nights so if you are considering a stay bring extra wash cloths and hand towels. The kitchen was not supplied with tools/supplies that we are used to seeing in previous cabins we’ve stayed but there is a Walmart close by!
Pros:-Newer home -Great layout-Comfortable beds -Creek behind home that allows for fishing -deer cross in front of home mid-morning- 2 fire pits with nice patio furniture Cons:-Only enough bath products for one shower (1 single use); if 2 people are showering or your saying more than one day, you’ll need to buy more - no kitchen goods (ie oil for cooking, spices, etc) you’ll need to purchase before cooking any meals chen goods avail
Everything was great! The only suggestion I’d make is have more personal items in bathrooms…shampoo and soaps. Most places we stay we don’t need to pack those items.
Property was exactly as pictured. Beautiful location. Would suggest you bring your own hangers if you plan to use the closet. Also have some extra batteries on hand for the television remotes and if you like to clean daily like we do, bring your own cleaning supplies. Only one kitchen towel so might want to bring extras as well. Other than that, the home itself and location were wonderful!
Our family had a great time staying in this peaceful cabin tucked away in the woods! We loved roasting s’mores in the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, and looking for deer in the front yard in the mornings! This was a perfect pick for our family and was a much needed getaway!
Very nice cabin, showers have the rain type heads and can be a challenge if you’re not used to them! No hand held! Chairs in living room not too comfy for lounging! Everything else was very nice!
Lovely VRBO surrounded with trees and a tiny creak in back. Can’t see the neighbors but can certainly hear them in every direction. Was kinda rainy so we didn’t use the fire pit or hot tub (mainly because we couldn’t find the chlorine instructed to use). Took a while for questions to be answered and could definitely use an upgrade on bed pillows and toilet paper. Bring your toiletries! There are 2 little hotel soaps and that’s it! Roomy place It wasclean and tidy.
This cabin was as advertised clean, all amenities as stated and enough of them for the week, well maintained looked just like the photos. It was a blast and pleanty of room. The cabin was clean inside and out and firepits were ready to go (i would advise to bring a Firestarter as the wood was damp, but that is just the weather) never been here before convenience store liquor store Etc 5 minutes away and Walmart/ Pruetts Grocery literally is 9 minutes away. Will be staying again.
We had fun cooking in the kitchen and sitting by the fire pit listening to the creek. My only complaint was with the concrete floors: there needed to be a rug in the bathrooms and by the back door. We came in from the hot tub and the floor got wet and we had one person fall. The bathroom floors were the same and really cold. Other than that the house was great!
Coming from Dallas we brought as much cookware and supplies we could think of however, the location was fully stocked with cookware and plenty of silverware. Big box store 15 minutes away for anything you may have left behind. We will be back soon.
We arrived at the cabin and were blown away, it is exactly as pictured but so much better. We loved the bright airy open floor plan and the kitchen was amazing. We will definitely be back.
Location was amazing. Loved being the last house on the street. Had all the necessities for an extended stay. My only constructive criticism would be the living room. Tv is too high to comfortably see and the couch can’t fit more than a few people. Really not a huge problem though as we were outside for most the stay.
A cozy warm feel cabin yet with a modern design twist
We loved our stay on this cabin. We like how secluded it is and yet there is a neighborhood feel. We like the cleanliness, openness and the modern design of this cabin. Though have issues using the dishwasher. Looks like the soap dispenser is not working. Could be just a minor fix. Also one of the reading lights in the bedrooms is broke. Again a minor fix from the owner. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we enjoyed a lot.
