Beautifully remodeled 3-bedroom plus den with single bed. Bayfront vacation home in Dewey Beach, with stunning sunset views and direct access to a sandy beach and Rehoboth Bay. Enjoy the newly landscaped property and fresh sand on the beach, as well as easy access to fantastic shopping, dining, and outdoor activities. Family and couple friendly only, with parking permits provided(April15-Sept15). My property sleeps 7(additional sofa bed) adults comfortably, with 2 full bathrooms plus 1/2 bathroom and a screened porch overlooking the bay. Features include central A/C, new kitchen(2021) with stainless steel appliances, and private parking for 2 cars. Just a short walk to the ocean beach, playground, and numerous restaurants, with the Jolly Trolley available for easy access to Rehoboth Beach and boardwalk. Smoke and pet-free property. Families, couples and mature adult groups welcome. Please NO high school or college groups rentals allowed. Available for 7-night rentals during peak summer season and 2-day stays in the off-season.FYI
New 4.5% tax added by the State of Delaware. Town of Dewey Beach tax added to cleaning fee per stay as instructed by VRBO. ***Please note there is no elevator. ***There are steps to the unit and steps inside leading to the maim bedroom suite.

Mixed bag

The property was very well situated, and greatly enjoyed the access and views. However, cleaning services need to be reviewed - particularly for the price. We found food left in the refrigerator and clothes left in the washer AND dryer from prior residents. Counters, kitchen utensils needed to be washed before we used them. I had trouble finding the actual address in preliminary materials, and then errors in the information for WiFi access - and when I emailed and called the, owner, never received a response. We guessed our way to finding the place on day of arrival, based on pictures. Also, beautiful screened porch, but watch the furniture - not as nice as in pictures, old and we worried about breaking it. For the money, I will look elsewhere next time, as saw other listings just as well situated while visiting.

Repeat visitor

This is our 3rd stay and hope to come back again. As noted, its a great location and close to restaurants and beaches. I also agree with the comment "There are a lot of steps, but with that comes a great view." This is not for mobility-limited folks. We were also out there last time during snow and cold, and the owner made sure there was sand, ice-melt, and brooms. I would love to be out there when it was warm enough to use the porch and beach, but even without those amenities, this has been a great place to stay

Great location, beautiful waterfront property

We enjoyed paddle boarding launching directly from the beach. The outdoor patio was where we spent most of our time with its beautiful views. Very comfortable beds and great amenities. 3 stars for cleanliness as it looked as if it was was not vacuumed or dusted very thoroughly. We didn’t report it as it was something we could live with.

Great view but lots of stairs

The place was great. Right on the water with a screened porch to watch the beautiful sunsets. It is small as it’s a unit within a larger building. It’s on the second floor so lots of stairs to get to the unit. Then inside to get to the master bedroom there is a spiral staircase.

This property is immaculate. The sunsets are incredible from the screened in porch master bedroom or on the semi private beach . I truly had an amazing stay . We were also lucky enough to spot a humpback whale right off the beach ! We will definitely be back !

Great location for family trip!

Our family of six, including grandparents and kids age 6 & 8, LOVED this place! The home is near everything in Dewey (walkable) and is furnished nicely. The beds were comfy. The screened porch was perfect. There are a lot of steps, but with that comes a great view. My kids enjoyed playing on the beach and splashing in the bay.

Stellar views of the bay and sunset!!

This well equipped and spacious condo with screened in deck has excellent views of the bay and sunset. It is located on the bay with a quick walk to restaurants and shops. The property owner was prompt in reply if we had any questions. Our family had a ball and would highly recommend this lovely vacation home.

We were very happy with our stay! The place was as described and in a great location. We only wish we had been more aware of the stair situation, both inside and outside the unit (although that may have been us not reading all the details entirely). Overall, fantastic stay!

Amazing Location!!!

We had a great stay at this amazing home. Kids enjoyed fishing from the dock and we all enjoyed paddle boarding in the bay. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Lisa was a great host and extremely responsive. The place was just as described. We loved sitting in the screened in porch and enjoying sunsets over the bay!

Close to everything in Dewey

Summer vacation

Beautiful view of Bay. This is a unit, in a 8 unit complex. Must walk up many stairs to enter. Screened in porch only, no outside deck access. But Screened in porch was actually perfect for keeping away bugs during meals and for some shade. Beautiful view of Bay. Owner was responsive when I reached out with questions.

My wife and I stayed with our 9 year old son. 3rd year in a row we’ve stayed in Dewey and this place was by far the best. We loved it so much we booked it again for next year. Very clean. Bay front and was very quiet with gorgeous view. 2 block walk to ocean. Walkable to all the Dewey restaurants. Already counting down till next year

Bayside oasis

We absolutely loved this property! The home was bright and nicely decorated. The view is amazing! We slept in the master bedroom and loved waking up to that bay view every morning. We sipped coffee ..and wine on the back patio. The private beach was a bonus too. Book a late dinner reservation because you won’t want to miss the sunset. The house was immaculate and they really made the most of the space. 8 fit comfortably. Our host so responsive and helpful. The kitchen amenities were a plus. Location is perfect! We will definely back. 5+ stars.

Great Dewey Beach find!

Snug Harbor 8 is a great property with walkable access to everything at Dewey Beach and only a short trip into Rehoboth Beach! The second-story unit has a relaxing bay view and a screened-in porch perfect for relaxing.

Wondeful Weekend Getaway

Very comfortable, clean, and cozy space with plenty of room too. Beautiful view of the bay and within walking distance of several great restaurants, bars, and live music. Communication with the property owner was prompt and conscientious. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place to make Thanksgiving memories

The apartment is well taken care of and very comfortable. There are stairs to get up to the entrance and a spiral staircase to get to the master but all three of our generations were able to navigate it pretty easily. Having the little beach at the house was a dream come true for my 5 year old and seeing the bay at all times was amazing for the rest of us! Having the ocean beach a short walk away was really convenient! We would love to come back sometime if we can fit it in 😊

I have been visiting Dewey Beach in the summers for the past 55 years. I met my husband in Dewey. I have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Our extended family spends several weeks in the summer at this family complex.

Why they chose this property

Property has been in my family for 45 years. It was rebuilt in 1982 then remodeled in 2014. We love all the watersports and the life around the bay. I enjoy morning walks on the ocean beach and boardwalk in Rehoboth. Park your car and walk! no driving necessary!

What makes this property unique

Snug Harbor is a gated property with private parking for2 cars with permits provided. Weekly and daily permits available to purchase for other cars. Centrally located within walking distance to all town has to offer. Home newly renovated, front screened porch, fantastic kitchen, den with single bed. Living room is a lovely family area with unobstructed views of Rehoboth Bay. The large master bedroom with ensuite bath provides beautiful views of the bay and fabulous sunsets.
