180 year old cottage, fully restored with a modern twist! Located in the heart of Natchez and only one street away from the Mighty Mississippi River! Across the street from the Famous Fat Mamas Tamales and the Corner Bar! Just a short walk to Darby's, a destination store with 5 buildings in one block. Fabulous exercise path along the bluff of the Mississippi River.. Step out of our cottage and walk to the bluff to watch the most beautiful sunset in the world and then stroll down the street for a glass of wine and delicious tapas at 100 Main and then stroll on down the street to Smoots for live Music on the weekends! Park your car at our cottage and just walk or call Rock N Roll Taxi ! We are in the best spot in Natchez! .

Great stay!

Property was just as described! Excellent location, comfy accommodations, great and timely communication with owner, absolutely no complaints. Got to meet owners during our shopping ventures downtown. This little town had lots to offer and definitely will be back.

Perfect location

Darby's house was perfect for our short stay in Nachez. Ms.Darby was very kind to bring us toliet paper upon our arrival. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay in convenient area

We were in town for a wedding in Natchez. Location is very nice. The home is older and so is in some need of some maintenance. But beyond that was a nice place to stay.

Cozy cottage

The Darby Cottage was the perfect house for our group of 4 friends. We enjoyed the bank porch where we drank our morning coffee and we enjoyed the L-shaped sofa where we relaxed and watched movies. We would definitely recommend Darby’s Cottage to friends and family! We hope to come back to Natchez and stay there again.

Perfect Home!

We had an amazing stay at Darby’s Guest House! The location allowed us to walk to restaurants, the farmers market, and shopping. You can’t beat this location! The inside is beautifully furnished and the beds were so comfortable. I highly recommend anyone looking to stay here if you get the chance.

Lovely cottage

Great 2 bed/2 bath house. Everything you needed for pleasurable stay. Carriage ride pickup spot 1/2 block away. 1 block to mississippi river front park. House has ramp for easily getting luggage in. Would definately stay here next time in Natchez.

Great Little Cottage

We had a great stay. The owners were awesome and they fell in love with our 3 little girls. Perfect get away cottage for anyone! Located in the middle of everything Natchez has to offer.

Owner is quick to respond and take care of any problems. Noise from street a little loud at night. Big bedrooms and comfortable beds. Lots of room in great room.

Wonderful stay!

This property is in the perfect spot - it's walking distance to so many places! We had a great weekend staying here, and highly recommend this house to future travelers. Everything was very clean, the beds are comfy and there's space to stretch out. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon!

Great Home

We enjoyed our stay at this darling cottage, which was so conveniently located! We loved having coffee on the covered back porch, which is not shown in the photos. Beds were very comfortable too.

Excellent Property

My friends and I enjoyed our stay. Check in and check out was so easy. I communicated with the property owner several times before arrival and she was extremely helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Natchez.

Location, location, location

Had a great stay at Darby's Guest House. Easily walking distance to great restaurants, river bluff, some of the Antebellum homes, and the carriage ride. Darby was easy to work with and we had a great time. Nice to have a king bed in one room and 2 queens in the other, along with their own bathrooms. We enjoyed the back porch a lot!

Mother and daughters girl trip

Enjoyed our stay at Darby’s. Location is close to everything. We toured the beautiful homes, drove along the Natchez trace parkway, visited Memorial Park, photography exhibit in the First Presbyterian church, a ghost tour and the Natchez City Cemetery. We walked downtown to shop in the cute stores and walked in Bluff Park every night to watch the sunset over the River. Enjoyed live music on Friday. Plenty of wonderful restaurants for dining. We will return and hope to stay here again.

Best place to stay in Natchez!

Group of 4 friends came to Natchez for 5 days! The location of Darby’s Guest House is the best location in Natchez! Walking distance to Main Street and all the great shops and walking distance to some great local eating place in town! We felt right at home in this beautiful, comfy house! Not to mention the beautiful decor through out this house! After the first night, we all commented about how comfortable the beds were! Darby was so available and even brought us some homemade fudge from Darby’s.

Wonderful House, Great Location, Perfect Host

This wonderfully decorated and updated home is a 2 minute walk to the park which runs along the Mississippi River. The sunset from the overlooking bluffs was something to behold! A short walk down the hill were restaurants, serving delicious food, overlooking the water. A walk in the opposite direction took you through the charming downtown shops and original historic homes of Natchez. Two bedrooms (and two bathrooms), a fully furnished kitchen (with an adjacent dining table) and a comfy living area are all perfectly decorated. But my favorite place was the back porch looking out on the fenced in back yard. It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day touring Pre-Civil War homes - and was especially appreciated since our first day there was rainy. Darby reached out to us personally before we arrived, check in was flawless, and she left us all sort of goodies we did not expect. She checked in to make sure everything was going well the following day and even reached out to recommend a lunch place on our route as we traveled out of town. She felt like a friend looking out for us! Parking for the house is adjacent in a paved public parking lot - which I was concerned about at first - but it was absolutely no problem - just steps from the front door. The street is a main road, but the traffic died down at night, and it is the price you pay to be in the heart of Natchez. It felt like a very safe area and we were comfortable walking the neighborhood, even at night. I highly recommend this rental! You will love it and feel like you have a friend in Natchez taking good care of you!
