Welcome to our "one of a kind house". "The Barn" is designed to look like a barn but houses a 5-star accommodation that will sleep a large family or multiple families and friends.

"The Barn" is located on the north side of Holland just before the Holland State Park and a short walk to both Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa Beaches. This rental is located in the Oak Grove Resort and offers the use of all the resort amenities including pool, spa, playground, basketball court and store. "The Barn" offers 3,780 square feet of living space with an amazing bunk room that sleeps 8. This is a fun room for kids or kids at heart. Other rooms include a master suite, 3 queen rooms and a room with a double bed. Relax in a large living room, watch some TV in the den or kick back on the deck and enjoy a s'more over the gas fire pit.

Amenities include large kitchen with granite counter tops, dishwasher, refrigerator, 5 burner stove, all kitchen utensils, gas fireplace, 4 TV's, linens, washer/dryer, 2 stall garage and 3 reserved parking spots. Large furnished deck with sitting area, dining table, gas fire pit and Weber grill. The resort offers a heated pool, spa, playground, candy store and bike rentals ($.)

Holland is an amazing town with lots of great restaurants, micro-breweries, art studios, museums, beaches and entertainment that will keep you busy while making "The Barn" your central location. Beautiful Home

Our experience with booking "The Barn" was excellent. The owners were courteous, kind and very professional to interact with. The Barn was clean and very comfortable to stay in. Owners have thought of and supplied most everything you could want during your visit. Keep in mind that you must be able to climb steps to get to The Barn as the main living space is on the second floor and most bedrooms are on the third floor.

Excellent facility, very clean, very well equipped, wonderful place!

We were all very pleased with the accommodations. We had 15 people and despite that number, we all felt there was plenty of room to have a bit of privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and has more than you would expect. Nothing negative to say. I would have liked the pool to stay open a bit later - but that is a very minor point. Staff was very responsive and pleasant.

Fantastic for Families

If you are looking for a place that can accommodate a large, multi-generational family gathering, look no further. Our kids and grandkids loved the space, the pool, the hot tub, and the location. We really liked eating on the amazingly long picnic table on the balcony deck, too--and roasting marshmallows at the firepit. Plus, the goats were an endless form of entertainment. There is also so much to do around Holland, MI itself, and this was the perfect home base.

McCord Huddleston family vacation

As a family we take 1 vacation per year where my husband and I pay for the lodging for all 4 of our adult kids and spouses and 9 grandchildren. We have absolutely no complaints. The pictures do not do this “barn” justice. Our first night one of our grandsons had to have an emergency appendectomy and even with that this was by far our best vacation. We will return. We had a crew of relatives with 6 kids and 9 adults and this place was so accommodating for our crowd. Kids loved great bunk room. The deck are worked out well for our only personal outdoor space. Kitchen was huge and well stocked. Manager was very attentive. Would go again.

This is a great house for several families (4) to stay in. The bunk room is ideal for the children (8) to sleep. It’s only a mile from Holland Beach and five miles to downtown Holland. You could not ask for more gracious hosts than Rod and Marie. The kitchen is very well set up and the large deck makes for a great gathering place!

Beach Week

This makes the fifth time we have stayed at The Barn and it was as enjoyable as ever. Eight adults and six kids (4-11) fit very well with lots of space. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked several meals easily. The bunk room has been a great sleeping area for all the kids and a haven for the adults. Very close downtown Holland, the Holland Farmers' Market, great restaurants and only 1 mile from Holland State Park. Our granddaughter recommends 5 million stars...but we can only have space for 5. Michigan Family Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful home. I can't express enough how beautiful and clean the home was. The patio was beautiful and we had access to the pool and playground close by. Excellent family reunion property

Our experience at the Barn was wonderful! Rod and Maria were fantastic. We had 5 different families all coming to stay together and the space worked perfectly for our group size. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked all our meals there. The space was well kept and clean and had everything we needed. The pool and playground on property were close and used often by the kids in the group. Overall highly recommend and we hope to book in the future.

We are Rod and Maria Vanden Berg. We have 3 kids and a dog named Copper. Oak Grove Resort is a our family business started by Ron and Betty Vanden Berg in 1988.

"The Barn" was built as our home when our kids were young and we lived in the barn year round. Now that are kids are growing up we are moving from "The Barn" to a location off of the resort property so we can have some time away from work. We are excited for families to enjoy "The Barn" and OGR for years to come.

The Oak Grove Resort property and "The Barn" are an amazing place to stay. We have been blessed with one of the most beautiful propertys on the North side of Holland. We are located less than 1 mile from Lake Michigan and one of the best beaches in Michigan. While you are here you can enjoy the pool, spa, playground, basketball court and bike paths.
