Quaint and Secluded
The property here is an old ranch that was at one time an event and wedding venue. It's a pretty cool place, has some ghost town vibes with the old wood and building facades. The guest house is at the top of the driveway and overlooms most of the property with plenty of parking. Admittedly we did not stay on property a lot of the time we were there but the area is gorgeous, the house had the amenities necessary including a fully stocked kitchen. The hosts had farm fresh eggs in fridge for us as well! The drive out to the main road in the morning is amazing with exceptional views of the dam and reservoir.

Quiet and Peace
We had a lovely time in Emmett and really enjoyed the quietness and tranquility of the stay. An easy drive away, we went whitewater rafting in the Payette river, enjoyed freshly baked pies, and amazing fruits/vegetables from local farmers. Tim and Julie were fantastic hosts. They really took the time to make us feel welcomed, truly friendly, and kind hosts. I would strongly recommend the stay.

Heaven on earth
We were attending a family reunion and needed a 2 bedroom accommodation. This property was perfect. Master bedroom and bath on one side of the house and guest bedroom with bath on the other side of the house. Nestled in the rural hills of Black Canyon, this rustic beauty allowed us all to relax and enjoy quiet evenings. Privacy with town only 10 minutes away...perfect location for us. We will definitely be back!

About the host

Hosted by Timothy Campbell

Host profile image
On June 17, 2017, Tim had a massive heart attack. Within minutes of arriving at the ER he went into full cardiac arrest. Julie placed her trust completely In the Lord and prayed that His will be done. The hospital worked tirelessly to save Tim and after a total 90 minutes without a pulse, they were able to revive him enough to place a stent. Even though Tim had made it through, the doctor told Julie that he could give her no hope and was not optimistic that he would make it through the night because his lungs were full of fluid, his kidneys and liver were failing and they didn’t know if he had any brain function. Julie explained that her hope came from God and would be optimistic for both of them. The two days and thousands of prayers later, Tim was sitting up in bed, talking coherently with restored body function.

Because of God’s grace and mercy, Tim and Julie committed to being obedient to God wherever that would take them. God’s call brought them to Seven Springs Ranch in Emmett, ID. God placed it on their hearts to turn the ranch into a safe haven where hearts can be restored, lives healed and hope renewed.

When completed the Ranch will be a Christian event and retreat center, Equine Rescue and Therapeutic Ranch. The journey has been long and difficult but God’s grace and blessings have carried them through and will allow the Ranch to be a place of joy, restoration and hope for all who visit.

Why they chose this property

The property has a serenity that surpasses its location. The resident goats, chickens and bunnies make any visit to the ranch fun and memorable. Seven Springs Ranch backs up to 800 acres of accessible federal land which allows for endless hiking and horseback riding opportunities and within just a few miles of the ranch, guests can mountain bike, water ski, river float, hunt, fish and participate in all the other outdoor recreation activities that Idaho is famous for. The magnificent views, gentle breezes, and constant appearances of wildlife are reminders of God’s creation and constant blessings.

What makes this property unique

Emmett is nestled in the scenic Valley of Plenty known for its many orchards and locally grown melons and vegetables which offer fruit stands and "you pick" options. Seven Springs Ranch is tucked into the northern foothills above the orchards and is a stone's throw from river access which includes fishing, swimming and river floats.
The sunsets to the west are truly magical!

You will have access to the entire 57 acres of property along with 600 acres of BLM land that borders the property for hiking, mountain biking, horse back riding, fishing, hunting and many other outdoor activities.
