Big house, but needs attention

We booked this house because we needed a place with lots of space. To that end, it was great, but lacked most everywhere else. The first thing we noticed was the house was DIRTY. The walls were especially dirty, worn and marked pretty much from the waist down. There were water spots on the walls in the bathroom. Baseboards had dirt/dust built up on them. There was a half-eaten bag of popcorn in one of the cabinets. There was a baby bottle under the couch. There was a pair of sunglasses at the bottom of the pool. Walking around the house, our socks turned black. We questioned whether it had been cleaned at all, and we ended up spending a good bit of time cleaning ourselves. The description lists amenities, but they were not as advertised. There was a private pool, but it smelled like a wet dog. There was grass growing through the bricks all around it. It was so close to neighboring houses that you couldn't enjoy it without having to listen to music blasting from the other houses, often with music that was not family-friendly. There were no pool cues for the pool table, so it was not useable. Same with the Xbox. It was there, but there was no plug for it, nor were there any games, so it was not useable. A couple of the rooms were missing television remotes, including the upstairs living area, so they were not useable. The items provided were less than bare minimum. No pot holders and only 2 dish towels. There were several items listed in the description that were nowhere to be found, like a lobster pot or a blender. There wasn't even a full block of knives, and a few that were there had broken handles. The pans had loose handles, which made them difficult to use. There wasn't even the simplest of things, like salt and pepper. There were confusing rules listed around the house. In one place it said we could only use 13 gallon garbage bags. Another place said 13-30 gallon garbage bags. We weren't sure what to use. 6 of the 8 bedrooms were all upstairs along with the movie watching area, but a sign said you could not take food or drink upstairs, nor could you wear shoes upstairs. The pictures shown in the descriptions are obviously quite old and do not match the current set up or state of the house. We attempted to send a message via VRBO and was told the next day a "ticket was submitted" but we never heard anything else. We tried emailing the address given in our check-in info, but it was returned as undeliverable.
