WHISPERING PINES is a Custom designed 2 bedroom Cabin in The Woods. With its Modern Farmhouse style decor, this cabin is sure to provide the warmth and comfort you desire during your stay in the great outdoors!
Step inside to a cozy living space with a stone fireplace extending to the beautifully crafted wood ceiling, flat screen TV, and seating for conversation and fun! Challenge your friends to a game of pool on the regulation Billiards Table. The kitchen features granite counter tops, conversation island, and KitchenAid stainless steel appliances; fully equipped with all the cooking necessities you need to prepare and serve a tasty meal for your friends and family! Enjoy meals inside or out with dining table options.

Very Clean

The place was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in and that goes a long way! There were a few minor things but we left them a note and will be easy for them to take care of. The one thing I would say is we had to bring two chairs from outside in so there was enough seating for our group of five in the living room for evenings watching a movie and I wasn’t expecting to be in a community area, was hoping for a lot of space to ourselves to explore and be in the “quiet”. Overall great place and great communication!

Peaceful & beautiful cabin in the woods

We were so thankful for Michael's cabin in the woods. It honestly felt like a little bit of heaven! It was so peaceful, very clean, with comfortable beds, and an amazing hot tub! We felt like we were able to be secluded and away from the rest of the world, yet we were just 15 minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. The cabin is grogeous, on the outside and on the inside-- my husband loved studying the architecture and design! We see why Michael highly encourages 4 wheel drive, but we were able to function fine with our front wheel drive minivan during the spring weather (the roads around the property are not paved, so maybe with rain it would have been harder to get up and down the steep driveway??). We would highly recommend Michael's property! Our family of 6 fit very comfortably in the cabin.

Wonderful cabin, great location and clean!

This is the second time I've stayed in this cabin and it does not disappoint. It is clean, has lots of kitchen tools, a wonderful view and everything you need being away from home. The hot tub is wonderful as well. The communication is great. This is a 10 out of 10 property.

Beautiful cabin with hot tub and outdoor fun

We stayed in late spring and the pictures don’t do the cabin justice. It is GORGEOUS! The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make quick snacks and gourmet meals. The bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. Everything was spotless! The property is amazing with well marked property lines, lots of birds, chipmunks and squirrels. We woke up to deer every morning. The neighboring homes are quite close but the trees between added some privacy. The cabin has a lot of windows without blinds/curtains which took a little getting used to. The property manager was excellent with communication and there are a lot of notes/directions in the guest manual. This cabin is perfect for all ages stocked with so many board games, big connect four, big tic tac toe, lawn dice, horseshoes, pool table and puzzles! My family had the best time and we are looking forward to staying again next year. Book this one, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful and serene

We had a girls trip for a 40th birthday celebration and the views and serenity at the cabin were perfect. We loved having the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. The house is cute and clean and the communication was great. Would recommend this VRBO.

Great scenic place to stay

This Canin is amazing! The scenery and local wildlife really made this an extra special trip. As well as the beautiful cabin. We got snowed in for one day of our trip and weren’t even sad about it!

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This is an absolutely beautiful property. Our kids loved the pool table & we all enjoyed evenings in the hot tub looking up at the beautiful stars. I loved reading on the deck in the morning in the sunshine by the outdoor fireplace. The actual cabin is up to date/new and everything done with such high quality- we felt so grateful for the opportunity to enjoy it. Thank you!

Beautiful, peaceful cabin

The pictures, although wonderful, do not do the cabin justice. Just beautiful and peaceful! For our family the arrangement of bedrooms were perfect and allowed our daughters (7, 11) some space for themselves. We do cook secret meals while on vacation and the kitchen was amazing and well-appointed. We made use of the hot tub and pool table and did spot a lot of wildlife at dusk! Very magical setting. I agree that the road to the cottage is very steep and wasn’t a problem until we had snowfall. Going down the hill in our car, even with 4 wheel drive, was slippery and a bit challenging, but not a deterrent for us! We would definitely come back!

Beautiful but hard to access in winter

Beautiful cabin loved the property. However, as stated in the information about property, it was very difficult even with 4 wheel drive to get up to the cabin. The road needs to be taken better care of as you turn into property. Due to winter conditions, it was pure ice and there are a few trees that need to be removed to avoid vehicles from hitting. Besides that everything else was great!

Great Colorado Home!!!

We stayed here for our first trip to Colorado. This is an amazing home. Beautifully decorated. Very clean. Lots of games and puzzles to keep you busy. We put a puzzle together. Played pool. Didnt get a chance to enjoy the hot tub. Maybe next time. The beds were extremely firm to us which we're not used to. But other than that we were very satisfied with this home. I would definitely recommend this home.

Beautiful home in the mountains

The property was as advertised. It was quite beautiful. Loved the pool table. BBQ worked well. The high altitude isn't for everyone though. And as the owners were very clear, you needed a 4 x 4 to get up the steep driveway. The door code didn't work when we arrived, but a quick call to the owner resolved everything! So we felt taken care of.

Quiet, private, beautiful.

This place is amazing. It's very cozy and private. Since my wife and I live in a large city, and our jobs primarily involve being in an office at a computer, I wanted something where we could just get away from all that for a few days. This place is exactly that. It's quite pretty, tons of really large trees, and basically embedded in the hilly wilderness surrounding the mountains. There are actually properties on either side of the cabin, but they're far enough away that with all the tree coverage, it took us a day to even notice them. It still feels very private. It's also decorated really well, and really cozy on the inside. It's close to a lot of really neat places. It was easy to spend a day driving up Pike's Peak, visiting Garden of the Gods and/or Seven Falls, and then coming back in the evenings to relax. It was a great place to spend evenings cooking, playing board games, relaxing in the hot tub, and overall just enjoying being nestled in the mountains and preparing for another day. There were days we wanted just to stay at the house all day. We actually stayed in Denver for two days after, and we ended up wishing we'd just spent all 6 days of our trip here instead. Thanks for being a big part of an amazing experience.

We built this property in Colorado as an extension to our other VRBO property for additional space for family gatherings and to share with friends in January 2020.
