Location, location, location.....The Purple House is located midway between Disney, Universal and SeaWorld and the Beaches on the east coast.

Go back in time....experience the Small Town feel of Historic St Cloud/Kissimmee and stay in an original 110 yr old Florida Cracker House. The Purple House is 10 blocks from our newly renovated downtown and 7 blocks to our beautiful lakefront and boat ramps.

The Purple House is a short 10 minute drive to Historic Downtown Kissimmee and their Lakefront.

Escape the fast pace life and experience and enjoy everything a small town has to offer. The home has 2 bedroom, 2 full size beds. There is a love seat that opens up to a twin bed and two very comfortable recliners. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals. Full Size Refrigerator. Coffee/Tea, snacks some breakfast items and some drinks are included. Wifi and Cable set up. There are books and games, a desk and calendar with local events. There is a back patio with a table and chairs. Pets are allowed, House is set up for 5 guests; (children/ppl sharing twin bed or sleeping bags). Nice neighborhood for walking, biking, and experiencing real Florida lifestyle. Just a few blocks to downtown shopping and dining or the lakefront Boat Ramps and dining at Crabby Bills or listen to music at night. This is a non smoking property there is a pet fee of $100 contact host about any furr babies you might want to bring

Our Stay at the Purple Cottage

The cottage was a perfect place for my son and I to stay for his fishing tournament on the lake, which was just a few blocks away. It was clean, and exactly as described in pictures. The host was great and super friendly! She responded to all inquiries quickly, introduced herself to us when there, and accommodating to our needs. Would stay there again.

great fishing trip

Me and my buddy stayed for week fishing trip. Great little house. PERFECT 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms.. why would you stay in a hotel. Close to Crabby restaurant with super food great shrimp. Karen the host of house was very friendly and helpful. We were late on our arrival and she called to make sure we were alright . Would book again. Cute house and very clean. Thank you for the welcome treats you left for us!

We really liked the “Purple House”. It was perfect for our family of 4, it was close to many dining options and about 30 minutes from the parks. Ms. Karen was very helpful and super nice. The house is a little on the older side, but has a lot of character. Thank you for letting us stay in your house.

Nice Little House

Everything was good in this Nice Little House and we enjoyed the space during our stay. It was really nice to be able to move around compared to staying in a hotel. The private parking and yard was definitely a plus for us and we felt secure at this location too. A few minor improvements/up grades with the beds and furniture would be a plus and make it an excellent little house. We were overall satisfied with our stay and would visit this Nice Little House again.

St Cloud stay

Cute house. Small but we knew that when we booked. Nice for a smaller place to have 2 bathrooms. And a fenced in yard for our dog. We would definitely stay here again. Owner was a pleasure to work with. Cleaned. Brand new memory foam toppers on bed. Made the bed very comfortable. House is in a neighborhood that is very quiet at night.

Not a stand alone home

Only good for 1 or 2 people. The living room has the only tv and not very comfortable for 2 people.The fenced yard for my dog was a through way for the host and other apartment. I was afraid they might not latch one of the few gated, allowing my dog to escape. Host was very nice.Ad stated no smoking in house. True, but there was no smoking alowed anywhere on the property either.

Good location for visiting with family in the area

We usually book by a hotel when visiting family in the St Cloud, FL area and this was a much easier option. Super close to out daughter’s house and pet friendly without smelling like pets have been here as I have terrible allergies.

We wanted a house to stay in the Kissimmee area that was not a resort. The location was close to attractions. I did picture the house being closer to the historic district that was mentioned on the rental site. The house could use some updates and repairs. Also the tv internet setup was not very user friendly. Owner was very responsive.

Wonderful property and property owner

My stay here was over several weeks. The entire stay, the property owner was respectful, and easy to communicate with on the couple of occasions it was necessary. There is a nice sized smart TV where I could cast all of my favorite streaming apps and a couple of different comfortable recliners to enjoy time watching it. The house is cozy, which I liked, but the kitchen is spacious, which was a nice surprise. Laundry units were very efficient as well. I would recommend anyone looking for a nice cozy place to stay in St. Cloud to definitely give this place a try! Almost, forgot, it is super pet-friendly, if you have your own personal fur babies it’s truly a perfect place to stay.

Host and check in process was great. House is clean. Neighborhood is somewhat decent. However, I take responsibility for not looking closer at the pictures. This house is not set up for me and my 2 adult children to enjoy a movie. The furniture is not comfortable nor is it set up in a manner to view the tv. The beds, although clean with fresh sheets, were not comfortable. We rented this home to go fishing during the day and to enjoy time together watching movies in the evening. Not comfortable for my family. I would recommend taking a closer look at the pictures before reserving. Tv trays as night stands, and t-shirts as outside cushion covers are just a couple examples of our disappointment for the price.

Nice pet friendly rental home in St. Cloud near Orlando

Nice clean home with responsive owner that welcomed us with a lovely fresh fruit gift. There is one bed in each of the two rooms, and a love seat pull out in the living area. There is one TV in the entire home located in the living area, using apple TV with netflix and prime video ready to go. There is a nice small desk with an office chair that was perfect for working. The wifi was around 30mbps download and 10mbps upload. Home is in a relatively quiet neighborhood, a 0.6 mile walk to a beautiful lakefront path with a dog friendly restaurant (Crabby Bill's) but no sidewalks until you get to the lakefront path. There is also a nice park (Johnson Park) that is only 4 blocks away that had tennis courts, a playground, and basketball courts. Only surprise was even though washer/dryer were in front of the carport attached to the house, we were charged $5 per load to use them.
